This is a fun and effective exercise called shadowing.

It is effective because in order to build your fluency, you have to say things over and over.

So by mimicking a native speaker like me, you can improve how you sound and you'll sound more natural.

So here's what we're going to do.

I'm going to read aloud a passage at a slightly slower pace than real life so that you can follow along and mimic me as best as you can.

Okay, so this is something that I wrote from the perspective of a friend sharing advice of how to save money when moving to a city.
