1
I've generated over $10 .2 billion in sales for my clients across 1 ,184 different industries.
2
And these are the 11 strategies that I abuse that almost never fail.
3
Starting with strategy number one.
4
And it's this single reason alone that I have seen businesses double their sales overnight.
5
Everyone obsesses over their CTA.
6
It's typically the first thing that most brands will split test.
7
They're like, what do I do on my button color?
8
What does the text actually say? but there is something else that you can add below the CTA, and that's what I call a negative CTA.
9
You've all seen the thing where it says like, yes, rush me my order, or yes, send me the freebies.
10
What I like to do is put a negative CTA text that sits just below the main CTA that says something outlandish,
11
which is basically saying no to the thing that they want most.
12
No, I don't like free money.
13
And it's this contrast that increases the take rate on your main CTA.
14
I know it sounds stupid, but I have literally seen this one change double the take rates in funnels.
15
So the way that you can apply this specifically in your business
16
and in your funnels is to explicitly describe the thing that they don't want.
17
And it must sound stupid.
18
A little wink
19
that I like to do is have it linking out to
20
like a funny meme of some animal dressed up as a human or something that is stupid.
21
But I don't want you just to watch this video and nod along and laugh.
22
I actually want you to apply this.
23
So do this right now.
24
Go into your funnel, look at all of your CTAs on your upsells next to your VSLs and in your emails.
25
And just below the main CTA, try it.
26
Just put one of these negative CTAs on a bunch of emails
27
or on a bunch of your funnel pages and watch what the conversion rate does.
28
And that is strategy number one, the negative CTA.
29
But look, I'm not telling you these strategies out of theory.
30
I literally use these to go from having nothing more than $50 and an old computer that my girlfriend bought me,
31
hustling and cold calling people in my bedroom to generating over $10 .2 billion in sales
32
and becoming one of the youngest sharks on Shark Tank, which brings us to strategy number two.
33
Rookies use a VSL for one thing, and that is typically to book a call or to get somebody to convert on the front end.
34
What I like to do is I like to abuse VSLs,
35
and I like to use them at every single step of the funnel in something that I call VSL stacking.
36
What you don't see is that at every single stage of the funnel that once somebody books in a call,
37
then we have to get them to actually show up to the call.
38
What you want to do is you want to look at
39
all of those leakage points from the top of the funnel all the way down, and you want to add a VSL at every single stage.
40
When you do this, what happens is at every point that there's leakage, you basically increase the throughput by 15 % to 20%.
41
So when you stack four to five VSLs on there, we're talking about a 100 % improvement with the overall throughput of the funnel.
42
So when people book in a call, guess what? we hit them with the VSL.
43
We cover all the most common objections of why people would show up to that call.
44
We tell them what to expect on that call.
45
Then when the rep gets on the call with them and invariably doesn't close a large percentage of those people,
46
a tag is automatically applied and an email goes out with another VSL.
47
And that is strategy number two, VSL stacking.
48
So if you're enjoying this video and you appreciate the deep source,
49
make sure that you are subscribed because we're dropping a couple of videos a week, which brings us to strategy number three.
50
Most businesses think that they're selling against their competition, but their biggest competitor of all is the act of doing nothing.
51
And therefore, that's what you must sell against.
52
Because the easiest thing for your prospect to do after they've clicked on your ad,
53
read your copy, or watched your VSL is to simply do nothing.
54
And the way that you do that is by simply having some basic copy of being like,
55
don't click the button and don't book in a call
56
and still try to go through everything all by yourself through trial and error,
57
basically burning thousands of dollars every single week on ads that aren't effective.
58
So what we need to do is kick their bruised knee and we must move them into action.
59
The copy that converts the most is the one
60
that we call a kind of punch to the gut copy that really finds that emotional point that is paining the customer.
61
And when you talk about it, it creates discomfort for them because people move away from discomfort and that's where all the conversions happen.
62
So here's how you can apply this right now in your own business.
63
I want you to fast forward 12 months
64
and think about what would happen to your prospect if they didn't say yes to this.
65
It might be, for instance, if you're selling some kind of acne treatment and the person is suffering from acne,
66
would they have cystic acne that would develop scars?
67
Would they feel very, very embarrassed socially in social settings?
68
It can't just be like they would still have acne.
69
You need to use what I call under the fingernail copy
70
that is micro -specific to the pain points that they're experiencing and I want you to write all of that down.
71
And then what I want you to do is at the bottom of your sales pitches, whether it's a product page,
72
it's a landing page, or it's a VSL, just after you make your ask and you tell them what to do,
73
I want you to tell them or don't do it.
74
And this is basically how your life could look.
75
And so it's like you're offering them two ways and then we end once more with a positive CTA.
76
So go through your funnel, look at your closing copy right now and add it.
77
And that is strategy number three, sell against doing nothing.
78
All right, so that gets more people actually coming through.
79
Now this next strategy is about how to make sure that they're actually the right people, which brings us to strategy number four.
80
Everybody is hunting for the cheapest leads possible.
81
But what you must understand is that the cheapest leads are the worst leads possible.
82
Look, in any buying setting, friction, it lowers conversion rates.
83
However, the more friction that there is, the better quality buyer, all things remaining equal, that they're going to be.
84
So most people look at removing all the friction that they possibly can, and then they complain about lead quality.
85
But what you must understand is that there is an equilibrium.
86
So you can take it too far on both ends of the spectrum.
87
If you want just the cheapest leads possible, then you would have zero friction in the funnel.
88
You'd be running Facebook lead ads.
89
And then on the other end of the spectrum, you can have an 18 -step, multi -step questionnaire that the prospect needs to fill out.
90
By the time they get to the end of that, it's gonna be a super high -quality lead, but it's also gonna be the most expensive.
91
So here's how to apply this right now in your own business.
92
I want you to have a look at what your close rates are across your sales team.
93
If you have a close rate that is above 40%, then you have too much friction.
94
And what I want you to do is dial back that friction.
95
Now, if your close rate is sub -20%, that means that there is not enough friction.
96
You're not qualifying each lead that comes in.
97
So I want you to run a split test and split test two variations of that form,
98
one with more qualifying criteria and see the quality of the lead
99
that comes in and then see that justifies the increase in cost per lead that it is that you're paying.
100
In more cases than not, it does.
101
And that is strategy number four, add friction to your funnels.
102
Okay, so you've got the right people coming in, but this next strategy is about how to get more of those people to say yes,
103
to the big thing that it is that you're selling, which brings us to strategy number five.
104
Nine out of 10 businesses, they lead with their back end offer on the front end.
105
What do I mean by that?
106
Well, they have got their most expensive thing that makes them all of the profit, and that's what they're leading with.
107
And it's typically the hardest thing to sell.
108
And then they wonder why they don't have as many customers as it is that they want.
109
Instead, what you wanna do is you wanna create a front end offer.
110
And the reason why is because it ties into the commitment and consistency bias.
111
If we can get somebody to say yes to a small thing up front,
112
we're going to get a lot more people to say yes to the big thing on the back end.
113
So here's how to apply it right now in your own business.
114
Look at your offer and basically splinter out the most desirable thing that people always ask about, that people are always asking questions about.
115
And you either want to splinter that out as a piece of free information, a PDF, a cheat sheet,
116
some kind of free calculator or anything like that and give it away for free.
117
And then every single step after they've said yes to that first thing,
118
it should point to the main thing that it is you're trying to sell.
119
And that is strategy number five, the small yes.
120
All right, so that's your funnel sorted.
121
Now let's fill your funnel with traffic, which brings us to ads.
122
And you don't need to start from scratch, which brings us to strategy number six.
123
Most businesses are launching new ads every single week and every single month.
124
And they're always on the hunt for that new ad, that new angle, that new format that's going to pull its head off.
125
But from auditing thousands of ad accounts, the thing that I have seen more often than not is that they just don't milk the winners enough.
126
We want to add different hooks on it, different static images, and have multiple variations using AI of that one winning concept.
127
So if you're selling to a market that has multiple avatars, which I take it you are, different age groups, different genders,
128
all of those kind of things, is you want to take that winning format and you want to think,
129
okay, how would I write this for a 35 -year -old?
130
And all you need to do is clone that ad.
131
And the way that we do that is we give it to Claude or whatever AI that you're using, I don't discriminate.
132
And basically say, okay, read this ad.
133
It's my winning ad.
134
Now I want you to rewrite this to a 55 -year -old woman.
135
It's written for everyone at the moment.
136
Now, the key thing here is, if you show this ad to 100 people,
137
not one in a hundred should be able to tell that it was written by a different copywriter.
138
And it's basically gonna spit you out pretty much exactly the same ad with slight variations.
139
And the power of that is that Andromeda, Meta's algorithm is gonna go out, it's gonna read that, it's gonna look at the image,
140
it's gonna read the copy, and then it's gonna basically open up a completely different segment of the market that your original ad wasn't targeting.
141
And this strategy alone, you can milk this thing.
142
It takes one winner and basically turns it into 30 fresh ads.
143
And that is strategy number six, clone your winners.
144
All right, so now you've got your winning ads that are constantly pulling new buyers in,
145
but then you're gonna have a whole bunch of people that click.. your ad and didn't buy.
146
Which brings us to strategy number seven.
147
Most businesses are running the most basic retargeting ads you ever can.
148
If somebody clicks onto your landing page and they come through to it
149
and they don't do whatever it is you're asking them to do, there is a reason, there is an objection that needs to get handled.
150
Most people just smack them over the head with the same crappy ad.
151
And most people know how to objection handle once somebody's on a call or they're an actual prospect and a buyer.
152
But for every person that actually booked in that phone call, there is another 20 to 50 % of people that actually saw
153
that offer and didn't actually do what it is you're asking them to do because they had objections that weren't handled.
154
So they didn't even book a call in the first place.
155
What you want to do is if you're a lead gen business,
156
you want to pull all the transcripts from all of your sales calls and you want to plug them into AI.
157
You want to say, show me the top 10 most frequently common objections
158
that show up on calls that are 10 minutes plus.
159
And then I want you to have a look at those objections
160
and I want you to basically dig a layer deeper
161
and think about what are the reasons based on things
162
that came up on these calls
163
that would actually prevent people from booking a call in the first place
164
then we collect all ten of those objections
165
and guess what we do every single one of those objections becomes an ad angle
166
that we chuck into one campaign and meta will basically cycle through all of those
167
and it will handle those objections to those prospects
168
and as a result your booking rate will go through the roof
169
so here's how to apply it right now in your own business.
170
I want you to log into Claude.
171
I want you to look at connections and have a look at either one, your customer support survey in there.
172
It's also got Gmail, which is a great backup.
173
Or if you're using
174
Zoom IQ, you can use
175
Zoom Revenue Accelerator.
176
Whatever the software stack that you use, pretty much there is going to be some connector into Claude.
177
And then I want you to connect it in there, let it cook, let it go and get all of the data,
178
and then ask it those questions.
179
Then take those 10 questions, spin up 10 ads, deploy them in your ad account and watch the ROAS pile in.
180
And that is strategy number seven, objection handling retargeting.
181
But look, those are the objections that came from people who didn't buy.
182
Where the most valuable feedback that you can get is by asking those same questions to the people that did buy,
183
which brings us to strategy number eight.
184
Everybody does their research from Reddit or scraping forums online or looking at the comments section.
185
However, if we're being real, most of these people are brokies.
186
They don't have any money.
187
They're the non -buyers, right?
188
It's always the trolls that are online with no profile pictures, just some emoji or avatar that are the most vocal people online.
189
However, where the real gold needs to be mined is by speaking to the people
190
that actually did buy your product and by asking them like, hey, you bought this.
191
What almost stopped you from buying?
192
What are some concerns that came up
193
that you kind of took a little bit of a flyer on
194
that weren't really handled before you became a customer then ask them why they did buy
195
and lastly why did they choose to buy from you then ask them what's one thing
196
that i could add that would have made saying yes even easier for you
197
when you do this it just makes the tip of the spear
198
so much sharper where your marketing message will basically cut through your market like a hot knife to butter
199
so here's how to apply this right now in your own business.
200
What I want you to do is to set up an autoresponder on every single person that buys.
201
And I basically want the email to come from yourself as the founder of that business and say,
202
hey, you know, welcome them on board as you normally would.
203
And then at the end of it in the PS, say, hey, just out of curiosity,
204
what made you choose us over all the other alternatives that are present in the marketplace?
205
I have this set up in my own business and I read every single one of it.
206
Then it opens up a dialogue where you can go back
207
and forth with that customer and you can ask those consequent questions.
208
And that is strategy number eight, interviewing your buyers.
209
So now you know what your buyers want
210
and this next strategy is about giving it to them before they've even paid you a cent, which brings us to strategy number nine.
211
Most businesses try to sell to their customers straight out of the gate, where what you must understand is you will get 10 times more people
212
that come to you to learn something and get something of value than you will to actually buy from you.
213
You're already paying the CPMs, you're already paying for all the money to reach these people.
214
And if you know that a good ad gets a 1 % to 2 % CTR,
215
meaning 1 % to 2 % of people are going to click that ad and then go through to your page,
216
the reason that they do that is because the people
217
that are only going to click are the people that are ready to buy.
218
So instead, what we want to do, we want to make our ads valuable,
219
whether or not somebody chooses to buy from us in the first place.
220
Now, this does a few things.
221
The first thing that it does, it adds value and builds goodwill with your audience
222
because there's going to be a whole bunch of people that read that ad and go, wow, I might not be ready to buy right now,
223
but that was of value to me.
224
I might save this, or maybe I will share it, or maybe I will comment on it.
225
So the way that you actually do this is by teaching your market something in the ad providing value.
226
The number one way to show people that you are legit is to actually teach them something in the ad itself.
227
So what I want you to do is basically look at all of your content platforms that you're doing,
228
all your organic content, and effectively go in and say, what is my best performing content for the last 90 days or the last 12 months?
229
And you want to take the top 20 % of your organic content
230
that has already been proven organically that people enjoy and they get value out of it because it got the most views,
231
the most likes, the most shares, the most saves.
232
And then what I want you to do is to simply take
233
that piece of content and add a basic CTA at the end.
234
If you are lazy and you don't want to do that, just take that content, run it as an ad,
235
have a little bit of valuable copy in the actual body copy,
236
and then just add your CTA in there and add your best performing headline from your existing ads.
237
If you do that alone, this will absolutely print.
238
And the reason that it prints is from all the things that I just told you, But in addition to that,
239
it's also that it's been proven to do well organically.
240
It's already a vetted piece of content and the algorithm has said, hey, this is valuable because your market is enjoying it.
241
And then all we're doing is taking that content and we are amplifying it.
242
And because it's been proven to be good content, it has a high amount of consumption and consumption precedes conversions.
243
And that is strategy number nine, making your ads valuable.
244
So teaching them in the ad is what gets somebody to trust you
245
but there is one particular part of every single ad that everybody ignores, which brings us to strategy number 10.
246
So most people, they spend a good amount of time in actually writing the ads
247
and writing the body copy and the headlines and putting through the creatives and all that kind of jazz.
248
And then they completely ignore the comment section.
249
But if you're like me and all the other people online, pretty much you scroll down to the comment section before you consume the whole ad.
250
Therefore, it is very valuable real estate when it comes to attention.
251
So what I like to do is I like to basically find what my most engaged
252
or my best performing ad that's sucking in all of the budget.
253
And I like to write a humorous comment on it.
254
And I like to pin it as the number one comment
255
because I know that most people are gonna scroll straight down and see what people are saying in the comments.
256
So I wanna just say, hey, I see you.
257
A fisherman sees another fisherman from afar and just give him a little wink.
258
So here's one from one of my ads that have got like 11 million views.
259
So this one says, oh, hi there.
260
I see that you venture down into the comment section.
261
Are you lost?
262
Or are you simply looking for some gold?
263
Like lost coins in the crack of a couch.
264
Or maybe you're looking for some mildly entertaining comment from a troll.
265
Look, if you are a major grouch that doesn't smile at a puppy or a rainbow, then I can't help you.
266
But if you are a normal, pleasant individual, then my book really is the closest thing to free moolah you'll ever find.
267
So click the link here and grab your free copy today.
268
You can see there's a whole bunch of engagement
269
and it's even opened up an entire different thread on the ad and that's all engagement, right?
270
That's all things that are signaling to meta, man, this must be a good ad.
271
Like, look at the amount of comments and likes and engagements of this and you bully the internet daddy,
272
I get a discount from Uncle Zucks on the CPMs.
273
So the way
274
that you can apply this to your business is go into your ads manager right now
275
and find out what are the top most engaged ads that you've got.
276
Then what I want you to do is just put in a little bit of a humorous comment.
277
You can add a funny GIF on there
278
and just simply put another CTA to what it is that you've used in the ad itself.
279
And then once you've written that comment, just pin it as a top comment and away you go.
280
And that is strategy number 10, the pinned comment.
281
And look, this last strategy is probably the most controversial,
282
but it's also the most fun because it basically takes your competitors' customers and it uses them against them,
283
which brings us to strategy number 11.
284
Most businesses try to sell like they're in a vacuum.
285
They pretend like their competitors don't exist.
286
I like to do the opposite.
287
And the way that I do that is I go and look at all of my top five competitors,
288
and then I go and look at all of their one -star reviews, and I find out what people hate about them.
289
I look at the two -star reviews, I look at the three -star reviews, and all the things that they don't like about XYZ,
290
I use them as selling angles in my ads and also in my VSLs.
291
The way that I do it is by telling the prospect I understand their pains.
292
Most people that are buying whatever it is that you're selling, it's not the first time that they have bought it.
293
They aren't virgin buyers.
294
They've tried other solutions.
295
They either work, they worked for a period of time, or they didn't work at all.
296
So instead of ignoring all of that, we want to go and mine all of that data.
297
And then we want to say, hey, if you are like this, if you've experienced XYZ problem, or maybe you've tried this,
298
or maybe you've done this, and you've never got the outcome that it is that you want.
299
The way that we get that XYZ and the this and the that is by looking at the one,
300
two and three star reviews of all of your competitors.
301
Then what you wanna do is you wanna take all of those pain points,
302
all the drawbacks for the existing solutions that are present in the marketplace, and you wanna craft yourself a hero mechanism that basically separates your business,
303
your offer, your service, your product based on all of the drawbacks to the existing solutions in the marketplace.
304
And you basically list all of them out and you say, hey, these are all the problems with the existing solutions.
305
So that is the mechanism behind the problem.
306
Then off that, then you basically say, because of all of those drawbacks, we created this, which is the mechanism behind the solution.
307
And then you name it and that is your hero mechanism.
308
So here's how to apply this right now in your own business.
309
I wanna make it as simple as possible as I can for you.
310
If you don't know who your competitors are, simply go on to chat Chippity or Claude and say, hey, this is my business,
311
give it the URL, tell it a little bit about your business and just say, please find me the top five or 10 competitors
312
that are within this geographic area that would be seen as the most direct competitors to me.
313
Then once you've done that, basically say, give me links to any review platform that you can find for them online.
314
It will bring their Google reviews up, Trustpilot or any other platforms that they're on.
315
And then you can basically just create a basic python scraper using AI
316
that will go and scrape all of those reviews or pay somebody 20 bucks to do it for you on Upwork.
317
And that is strategy number 11, breaking the legs of your competitors in front of the eyes of your prospect.
318
And if you're wondering, hey, like why is this
319
Shark Tank dude putting out all of this content on YouTube?
320
I grew up in a house raised by a single parent mother with not an abundance of money.
321
And I always said to myself, did I ever get to a place where I have an abundance of money is
322
that it would be my duty to send the elevator back down to somebody in need.
323
And out of all the videos that I put out, that can just help one person make their life easier,
324
then all the content that I put out is worth it.
325
And if you liked this video,
326
