The Frog Who Sang Too Loud

beginnermusic138 words

Bo the frog loves to sing, but his songs keep the whole pond awake. One night, a hungry visitor comes to the water.

Long ago, a frog lived by a small pond. His name was Bo. Bo loved to sing, but he sang very loudly.
The other animals hated his songs. 'Please stop,' said the duck. 'We can't sleep,' said the fish. So Bo went to the far side of the pond. He sang alone every night.
One dark night, a fox came to the pond. He was hungry. He saw the sleeping ducks and smiled.
Bo saw the fox too. He took a deep breath and sang. He sang louder than ever before. The ducks woke up and flew away. The fish swam deep. The fox ran back into the trees.
The next morning, the duck found Bo. 'Sing for us tonight,' she said. 'And please sing loudly.'
