Well, right now, this entire area of San Diego remains completely closed off.

We are staging just a couple of blocks away from the Islamic Center of San Diego where this horrific shooting occurred today.

It is the largest mosque in the county,

located right off the 805 Freeway and Balboa Avenue.

In the past hour, we were briefed by law enforcement who described this as the most dynamic scene they have ever encountered,

confirming three adult males have died.

The two suspected teenage shooters were also found deceased.

Now, police say the initial call reporting the shooting came in around 1145 this morning.

Within four minutes, police were there.

That's when they saw three deceased adult male victims out front.

We know one of those victims was a security guard who

police say played a pivotal role in ensuring this was not even worse.

Police say within minutes more calls came in reporting additional gunfire just a few blocks from there.

Police say a landscaper working outside was shot at.

Fortunately they survived.

Then police found a vehicle in the middle of the street where the two suspected shooters were deceased.

They were found with apparent self-inflicted gunshot wounds.

Police have not identified the alleged suspects yet,

but tell us they were 17 and 19 years old.

Witnesses we talked to in that neighborhood say they heard several gunshots before seeing the suspected shooters deceased.

Now, following the traumatic moments at the Islamic Center,

chilling images emerged of small children,

preschool through third grade students who attend school there being escorted out.

and they all reported seeing police officers jump on the freeway from wherever they were.

We are talking dozens and dozens of police vehicles.

We also know that the FBI and ATF are also assisting police in this investigation.

Now, the posture of police has certainly changed.
