In the video transcript, several key structures illustrate effective speaking and communication abilities:

  • Passive Voice: The speaker uses passive constructions, such as "AVMs are formed" and "are located," which highlight the condition over the subject. This usage is common in medical contexts to emphasize the processes rather than the doers.
  • Conditionals: Phrases like "if that happens" demonstrate the use of conditional statements, vital for discussing potential situations and outcomes, particularly in medical explanations.
  • Direct Address: The speaker frequently uses "we" to address the audience, creating an engaging conversational tone that is effective for listeners. This form of shadow speech reinforces the connection between the speaker and the audience.
