Welcome back, Sethbling here.
2
Those of you who have played Zelda will recognize this.
3
You attack a chicken and he doesn't seem to mind too much.
4
Attack him and he's not really caring.
5
But if you attack him a lot and you're really mean to him,
6
then he summons his buddies and they swarm you and start attacking you.
7
Pecking away and well, if you don't do anything they'll kill you.
8
So yeah, I've recreated the sort of chicken mechanic from Zelda.
9
I have kind of a little half set here.
10
Let me go into creative mode.
11
Just built a little sample set.
12
You can probably tell what's going on.
13
There's chickens riding invisible slimes,
14
and they have jump boosts and speed and stuff.
15
And so the slimes are the ones that actually bounce towards you and attack you and deal damage.
16
What I've got up here is just a simple circuit
17
that detects when a player gets a chicken kills score of 1 or more,
18
and then it sets your chicken kills score back to 0.
19
And it does this thing that's like a structure spawner,
20
but spawns 6 of the angry chickens in kind of a little loop over here.
21
So actually if I just spawn another chicken,
22
or actually it could be any mob,
23
and get a kill here,
24
I'm just going to go ahead and spawn a bunch of other ones.
25
I love how they just kind of jump up in the air.
26
It looks really funny, I think.
27
It's kind of neat.
28
Anyway, that's all I got.
29
This is a little cool thing from Zelda.
30
That's about it.
31
Thanks for watching.
