But what if I told you this home was actually in the Bay Area?

And that the grounds in front and behind the home were Balinese inspired to make it feel like a tropical oasis.

This is 2871 Morley Drive in Oakland, California.

Two bedrooms, three bathrooms, over 3,100 square feet of living space listed for $2,395,000 by Alex Mikas and Rick Reschetta of Compass.

The home was built in 1954 and has a mid-century design to it.

However, it has been completely reimagined.

The living room with its floor-to-ceiling windows gives you views out of the backyard that we'll be exploring shortly.

Around the corner is the designated dining area with more access to the outside deck,

and that flows us into the chef's kitchen.
