I think this is quite distinctive to Vietnam.

I think that this revolutionary morality that Ho instilled in his communists during his struggle is still being taught in Vietnam today.

And in particular, this is connected to criticism and self-criticism in that often these criticism and self-criticism sessions

would involve distilling and promoting Ho Chi Minh's ideas on revolutionary morality.

And this has been a really powerful weapon,

to rely on its own forces and to protect its sovereignty.

So not to let any foreign powers dominate Vietnam,
