Missing someone doesn't mean they're right for you.

I think we've all felt it, that ache, that sudden wave when a memory hits you and you can't help but wonder why they're not here anymore.

and in those moments it's so easy to confuse missing them with believing you need them

but that's not the case missing someone only proves they left a mark not

that they should have stayed that's the hard truth to face

but it's also freeing sometimes what you're actually missing isn't them

it's how they made you feel maybe they filled a space during your life in a lonely season.

Maybe they gave you comfort when you needed it most.

But that doesn't mean they were right for you long term.

That feeling you miss, that's a signal.

It's showing you where there's an empty space that you need to fill.

Whether it's with self-love growth or even something better that's waiting for you

and here's the shift that changed everything for me

when i started to see missing someone not as a reason to run back

but as proof of my own capacity to care to love

and to feel deeply missing isn't weakness it's a reflection of how much of yourself you gave

but it's also a reminder that the future holds more connections more love

and more meaning than the one that walked away so

but don't let it trick you into thinking they're the answer
