I first met Ronnie in 1979 -1980 when we were in Los Angeles

and we went over there to do an album with Ozzy

and it didn't work out and and I met Ronnie at a party funnily enough

and we were talking about just you know doing something together

and so that's what we did we we sort of got arranged for to come up

and as soon as he hit the first note, bloody hell, this is it,

it's great and from then Arnie just went, it just took off.

When I first heard he was diagnosed, knowing Ronnie, Ronnie never gives up on things, he always is a fighter you know

and I thought well you know he'll pull through on this he will

and we all thought that we all thought that he'd

because he was

that type of person he wouldn't give in geezer take my

hand off to him he was he was with him a lot of the time he'd go

and see him at the house and the hospital and

so did vinnie you know it was quite a quite a good relationship well very good relationship

and he got better over the years well you know we've all had our ups

and downs and like everybody does

but at the end of the day we We all loved each other

and really cared for each other and you know this last time was fantastic, everything was smooth and that's it,

it was too good to be true, it was going really well and we were getting on famously, all of us.

It's only now that since his passing that all the people are coming out saying how great he was you know, I mean the people have said how great he was before but more and more now,

more musicians, because he was.
