1
What if I told you that every single piece of advice you've ever gotten was completely wrong for you?
2
From teachers, from friends, from your family.
3
That you've been taught to listen to others' opinions your whole life.
4
But the only voice that truly matters,
5
your own, you didn't listen to.
6
This isn't any other motivational video.
7
This is your wake-up call to finally tune into yourself and listen to your voice.
8
nobody knows what's best for you except of you nobody knows
9
what advice they should really give you nobody knows the advice you need right now only you know it
10
and it's only you
11
because none of them out there is you the only person
12
who knows you your whole life long is you no one else
13
so where does it make sense to go to endless people
14
asking for their opinions waiting for opinions to define you instead of just knowing yourself
15
and asking yourself what you really want
16
because how should other people be able to know they cannot know we grow up thinking
17
that our parents our teachers our friends they know everything better right they know all the things
18
that we want to know that will help us to live the life we want to live.
19
But what if their advice will never lead to the life that you truly want to live?
20
Because none of them was ever with your mind,
21
with your inner voice, with your experience.
22
They don't wake up with your dreams, with your vision.
23
They don't know that vision.
24
They cannot feel it because they never experienced it.
25
As I said, following their advice might even lead to a life you never really wanted to live.
26
Here's the thing, why it's keeping you stuck to listening to others?
27
You try to make everyone happy except yourself.
28
Because if people tell us,
29
yeah, you should do this and that and that,
30
we try to somehow follow their advice to show we listen to them
31
that was important for us right
32
but what happens you try to do something you never really
33
wanted to do yourself maybe you know you try to look
34
for others again instead for yourself shrink your vision to make others feel comfortable
35
but as a result you're the one who feels uncomfortable
36
and in my experience i always felt guilty for dreaming bigger because i felt like
37
the life that I want to live and in a lot of cases other people do not understand that
38
it made me feel so guilty
39
because I was like am I dreaming too much am i
40
dreaming too big is it even realistic is it even possible
41
and that completely doubted my vision for the life i really want to live you know all only
42
because i asked so many people hope
43
that they tell me how to do better
44
but neglected the part of the truth
45
that they will never be able to do
46
that you know you've waited for validation before you move
47
and the truth is this validation it will never come
48
but what would happen if you decided today
49
that you will start to live your life only for yourself
50
that the people who judge you that you realize
51
that they are probably not living their own dreams they're probably not living their dream life they're probably miserable
52
and in denial because otherwise they wouldn't been judging you but
53
if you stop justifying your choices
54
and you started to live for yourself even though others a lot of the times do not understand your dreams
55
or your ambitions you still would live for your dreams
56
because it's important that you understand it it's important
57
that you understand your vision and
58
if you feel it then it's right for you you know
59
and it only has to be right for you it doesn't have to be right for anyone else
60
but for you because you are the one who's living this life
61
and no one else so how to take your power back First and foremost, get quiet.
62
Get to know yourself.
63
Start listening to what you truly want and not what is safe.
64
Just get quiet, journal and ask yourself,
65
what does my dream life look like?
66
And stop taking advice from people you don't look up to.
67
Stop taking advice from people who don't have the life you want to live.
68
Learn to trust yourself more than anyone else you know i
69
had to do this too it's hard it's not easy
70
and i'm not telling that it's easy to just
71
and you can just decide to switch off
72
and completely change your mindset this takes work
73
but the world doesn't need another person another version of someone else it needs you fully expressed your authentic self
74
and you don't need permission the only thing you need is courage you need allowance from yourself
75
that you finally allow yourself to step into your dream version of yourself
76
so dream louder be louder and be bold this is your sign choose yourself
