Hello and welcome to another episode of Elephant English Podcasts.

Today I'm going to be talking about what I did yesterday using regular and irregular forms of the past simple tense.

Yesterday I woke up at nine o 'clock because I was on holiday and I didn't have to go to work.

After I woke up, I got up and I had my breakfast.

I had some cereals and some milk.

Also, I had a cup of tea.

My cat was hungry too, so I gave her some food.

At 9 .30, I brushed my teeth, I washed my face, I got dressed and I made my bed.

I wanted to make another youtube video so i used my computer

and my microphone to record a new video i spent about two hours on the computer

and when i finished i decided to go for a walk i went for a walk around my city

and i visited a big park where everyone was having a picnic or taking their dogs for a walk.

I sat down on the grass because the weather was beautiful.

I bought a snack and a drink in one of the supermarkets because I was very hungry.

After I ate my snack I went back home.

At three o 'clock I took my cat to the vet.

We put her inside her carrier which is like a bag for cats, and we walked to the vet.

When we arrived she meowed a lot.

The vet said that she was very nervous and when she gave her the injection my cat attacked the vet.

It hurt a lot but I wasn't surprised because my cat was very scared.

When we finished at the vet's, we came home and she slept for 3 hours because she was tired.

She was angry with us but after she slept she was happy.

I started to make dinner at 5 .30 so half past 5 and I had dinner at 6 o 'clock.

I had lasagna and it was delicious.

While I was eating I watched the 8th episode of the new Stranger Things season.

I didn't watch the final episode because it was too long.

It was 2 hours.

I thought that the episode was very entertaining but in general I think that the series is is a little bit repetitive.

After I finished my dinner, I decided to tidy the house a bit because it was untidy.

I tidied the living room and then I washed the dishes and vacuumed the floor.

I didn't mop the floor because my cat was very active

and when I normally mop the floor she walks all over it.

Before I went to bed I had a little snack which is called supper.

I watched the news on tv but afterwards there was nothing else on tv.

Then I played with my cat to make her tired, I put my pyjamas on, I brushed my teeth and I went to bed.

So today we have talked about what I did yesterday using the past tenses.
