Shadowing Practice: Can I fit an ENTIRE HOUSE in only a 2x2 square? - Learn English Speaking with Video

For some reason, I have been hit with a burst of inspiration to build a really, really tiny house in The Sims.

And I've built my fair share of tiny houses over the years, but I don't mean a regular tiny house.

I don't even mean a regular microhome -- one of those 32 tile houses.

I want to build a four tile house.

I want it to be only 2x2 and somehow still be functional.

I've also never done one of these on the beach.

It is technically possible, but you have to do a lot of messing around with move objects and like sticking things halfway into a wall, so I've got Stanley Humphrey here so he can test it out for us.

He's going to be our little guinea pig.

And the rules I'm giving myself today are pretty simple.

We can only have these four walls.

It has to be fully functional, so he has to be able to fix all of his needs inside of this space.

That includes sleep, hygiene. He needs to be able to eat, preferably not just quick meals. He needs to be able to actually cook something.

His fun need needs to go up.

And I guess like he can't really do his social need in there, so he might get a free pass on that one, but everything else.

Oh, and his bladder. He needs to have a toilet. Sorry, I failed to mention that one.

I think we are allowed to put things outside. Like, if I wanted to have a telescope or something outdoors, but we can't have his main needs be met outside.

Like, it would be cheating if I put the bed outside, for example.

Anything outside is just bonus stuff in my mind.

Okay, well that's enough stalling. I think I should probably get started.

I'm going to give him a little staircase. Maybe we can make his house be kind of high up.

I actually don't know if it'll work like this, but wouldn't it be kind of fun if it did?

I know that he can get into the house like this, I just mean like if the bed is floating, I don't know if he can handle that.

Also, is there even a door that's this small from Island Living?

Oh my god. I'd have to put it like that, and it would be like kind of clipping.

I'm getting kind of nervous.

Luckily, I think his shower can go there in front of the door, and he'll be able to get past it still.

I'm also kind of hoping that -- I was going to try and give him a loft bed.

I just don't know if he's going to be able to use it.

Is it worth us trying to pick out a cute one before we actually place it in there?

And then I'm picturing maybe he could have like a waffle maker because the waffle maker lets him cook real meals, and he can get quick meals out, and he doesn't need to have like just a microwave or something, you know? Like, this seems a little bit more practical.

Oh, I mean, if you would call it a couch. I'm not sure I would.

Yeah, with the way these things are clipping through, it makes them look more like benches.

Like, that's kind of cute, and it has the extra little blanket -- could be like a towel.
