and today we're going to be talking about three reasons to get rejected with Emirates.

First of all, I would like to introduce myself.

and the second one in russian the first reason you can be rejected from emirates is of course

because of your resume your resume is actually 50 of the chances to get to emirates

and lots of people don't understand the thing that

if you're gonna go to open day

and you're gonna reach the final interview with your resume

and after few days you're gonna get rejection that can also mean

that you got rejection because of your resume so what I'm saying

if you got to final interview with your resume it doesn't mean it's good yet I see

that a lot especially when people are coming for individual consultation they show me their CV

and they tell me what they were doing what they were answering

and I can see the reason why I can see it in the resume straight away

that the rejection reason was because of the resume

so let's dive deeper let's have a look why we can

get rejection from our resume the first thing is not relevant work experience

so you have to have one year experience in hospitality

or customer service other experiences is not gonna get you this job

so please make sure you have at least one year experience there

and please check if your job is actually hospitality

or customer service the second reason is your gaps the most gap

that you can have is no longer than three months

and it needs to be justified the recruiter needs to see

why this gap is there maybe you were traveling from one country to another one

and it took you a while to get the job

or maybe you were studying

but it needs to be justified more than three months the gap is already a problem

so do not make any gaps in your resume

and also i would like to say

if your last experience was like one year goal

and for one year you didn't do anything it also can

be a reason for rejection the other thing is not enough

information in your resume it can be anything we can start from the skills you don't know

which skills need to be put in our resume aviation oriented resume

if you don't have introduction let's say or your responsibilities is not really good described you put attention on

other details rather than put the your focus on the customer service

or teamwork you describe something else

which is not really relevant for cabin crew job it can be also

that you don't have achievements nowadays we as a recruiter will love to see achievements in your resume

so don't forget about that if you're living in a country where there is no open days but assessment days only

which means that you need to apply online it gets a little bit harder

because online we have hs system it's applicant tracking system it's basically a machine where recruiters are putting necessary information

that they need to take out from your resume it can

be anything it can be your skills it can be your

working experience your languages your nationality your age can be anything also they put their keywords

that necessary for their job let's say teamwork

or a customer service engagement something like that

and the ATS machine is catching all of this information catching all of these words

and then scan it the resume

that got through the ATS later on will be looked by a recruiter

so here we have more things to look at

because ATS is very difficult and a lot of things we need to think about

while we're doing our resume let's start from our format your

resume needs to be in specific format the next one is templates

so ATS is not really friendly for or CV templates like say Canva ads.

So the more simple you will do your resume, the better.

Also it doesn't like columns different colors it's not really ats friendly also i would like to say

that your resume needs to be no longer than two pages

please stick to the structure of resume it's very important also for the resume

so your information first then introduction then your skills then your working experience volunteer experience education

and the languages only in this structure please do your resume

because it can confuse the ats as well so it's better

if you stick to it

so what can you do with this problem is of course

you can ask someone to do your resume some professional recruiter hr lots of people doing

that so please make sure it's professional because

if you do it yourself you do small mistake even you're gonna get rejection

and you don't even know that this rejection particular rejection was done

because of this mistake and you're gonna be going with the same resume five six times

and still gonna get rejection just with

because of the small mistake in your resume you don't want

that so please make sure that your cv is professional

and ask someone to do it order it somewhere

but a place where you can trust of course the person

that has experience in it second thing

that you can do is uh to do yourself of course but please make sure to search

a lot of information about ATS what is it how to pass it

and everything like that and then once you've done your resume please check it with the scanner

but also these scanners they're not really good I would say

because sometimes I was checking some of the resumes

that I didn't like and I knew

that is not going to be passing the ATA system

but the scanner set is okay

so personally I don't trust the scanners plus it's you need to pay for it I think I'm not sure

so I wouldn't do that and the third option of course to come to our academy

because we are not only giving you a

template we are teaching you how to do it

so you can do whenever you are going whenever you are

second group discussion it's the hardest part for all of you guys I know

if someone is very active what to do is everyone is silent uh how how to react what to say

so we cannot trust him at all let's sum it up

important to prepare for the assessment day first of all as

so it's really small amount and the competition is very very high
