Hello everybody, welcome to another
2
Easy English Vlog where you will be learning English with comprehensible input.
3
Let's get started.
4
Today we are going on a trip.
5
We are gonna be on a trip for the entire weekend in a city called Big Bear, which is kind of near us,
6
and it's up in the mountains.
7
So I'm really excited because we're gonna be surrounded by nature and it's going to be very, very beautiful.
8
But before we can go on the trip, we need to pack all of our stuff to go on the trip.
9
Packing basically just means taking all of the clothes
10
and all of the items that you need to bring with you
11
and putting them into a suitcase or a bag or anything else to be able to bring it all with you.
12
So we are going to pack all of my clothes for the trip.
13
All right, first I'm going to unzip my suitcase real quick and open it up.
14
And this is where I'll be putting all of my clothing.
15
I already packed my clothes.
16
What clothes are you going to bring?
17
Yeah, I have all of my clothes over here.
18
I know it's going to be a little bit cold in Big Bear.
19
So I wanted to pack some clothes that are good for cold weather.
20
So for example, I wanted to pack this sweater right here.
21
This is a sweater and this is really good for cold temperatures and it will keep me very, very warm.
22
So I'm going to take my sweater off of this hanger right here
23
and I'm going to put the hanger to the side.
24
And then before I can put my sweater into the suitcase, I need to fold my sweater.
25
Right, so that you can have more space in your suitcase, right?
26
Yeah, because if you don't fold your sweater and you just kind of throw it in there
27
You're not gonna have a lot of space, but also it can get wrinkly
28
Yeah, that's true.
29
If you don't fold your clothes, they will get wrinkly as well
30
So I'm gonna try to fold this but I'm not the best at folding clothes
31
So you can let me know how well I do but I'm gonna fold the arms like this and
32
Then I'm gonna kind of fold it over itself
33
Like this that looks good.
34
This looks good.
35
Yes.
36
Okay So I just folded my sweater now that my sweater is folded.
37
I can put it in my suitcase I also brought some pants right here
38
and I wanted to bring some of these sweatpants
39
Because sweatpants are really good when it is cold outside because they keep you warm.
40
Yeah, they're very thick material
41
So it's best to bring that.
42
Yeah, you could see the material is very thick
43
So they're really really warm
44
and sweatpants are basically like pants that are kind of casual
45
and they're sometimes people work out in sweatpants as well right yeah you'll see
46
that a lot at the gym yeah a lot of people work out in these sweatpants
47
and they're very comfortable so I think they're perfect to bring on a trip
48
so I'm gonna fold these sweatpants as well
49
and put them in my suitcase all right
50
I am going to keep putting all of my clothes into this suitcase
51
and then we are gonna head over to Big Bear
52
and I am really excited to show you guys the place that we booked in Big Bear.
53
The drive to Big Bear is about two hours from our house
54
and it takes you up this beautiful mountain with very very windy roads.
55
We are driving up the mountain right now
56
and we decided to pull off to the side of the road for a second
57
because the view at this specific spot just looked really nice.
58
Check out the view of the mountains completely covered in these beautiful green trees.
59
It's just really, really beautiful up here.
60
Wouldn't you agree?
61
Yes, it's so fresh.
62
It feels so good.
63
Yeah, the air outside just feels really fresh.
64
It just feels like something you can't experience in a city or something like that.
65
But something kind of crazy actually did happen while we were driving up here.
66
If you guys see over there, you can probably see that there's a line of cars forming right now.
67
And you might even be able to see some police lights because they're blocking the road right now.
68
Because somebody actually crashed.
69
There was a car accident.
70
So hoping that everybody is okay.
71
These roads can be a little bit dangerous because they're very windy.
72
They kind of go back and forth like that.
73
They're so narrow too.
74
Yeah, they're very narrow and they're very windy.
75
So it can be a little bit dangerous.
76
So we're going to make sure we drive safe.
77
All right, we are going to get back in the car now.
78
And we're going to continue down this road right here.
79
And in about 30 minutes, we will arrive at our destination,
80
which is the Airbnb that we are renting and we will show you guys around the place.

88
All right, let's get back to the episode.
89
All right, we just arrived at the Airbnb that we're gonna be staying at.
90
This is our place right here.
91
It's this one with the blue door right here.
92
So let's open it up and see how it looks inside.
93
This is the first thing that I noticed
94
when I came into this Airbnb be they got like this
95
huge mural on the wall of some kind of animal although i'm not totally sure what kind of animal
96
this is what kind of animal do you think this is maybe a fox or some kind of dog
97
yeah it kind of does look like a fox
98
or maybe like a coyote or something like that
99
but he's got his tongue out right here
100
so this is pretty cool although it might be a little bit scary
101
while we're in this airbnb because he'll be staring at us all the time
102
but over here we got a nice little couch it's not the nicest couch in the world
103
but it'll do and then over here we have our windows
104
and there's a pretty nice view out the windows wouldn't
105
you say yeah you can see all the trees the mountains yeah
106
it's not a bad view i mean it's not the best view in the world
107
but it's pretty good
108
if we walk out this door right here
109
it will lead to the balcony this is the balcony right here
110
we are on the second story of this building we had to climb up some stairs to get to our room
111
so we have this nice balcony and it feels very very nice
112
and very very fresh out here the air is just perfect over here oh look
113
there's another one of those murals oh yeah it looks kind of like the one that's in our room.
114
Which one do you prefer, that one or the one that we have?
115
Probably this one.
116
His tongue isn't sticking out and he's not like staring into our soul.
117
If we walk a little bit further over here, we can see the bedroom, which is pretty nice.
118
I think it has a pretty nice design to it.
119
Allison right now is hanging out on the bed, getting used to the place.
120
There's a mirror right here.
121
And then we have another pretty nice view out this window right here.
122
Check out the mountains and the trees in the distance.
123
Very cool.
124
And then here is the kitchen.
125
It's a pretty nice and spacious kitchen.
126
There's a good amount of room in here.
127
We have a refrigerator that will put all of our food in right now
128
if we open the door you guys can see
129
that it is empty because they basically throw away all of the food from the previous guest
130
and they keep these empty when you arrive we also have a little microwave right here
131
which will definitely come in handy later on we're definitely going to use this microwave
132
some plates and some cups and some bowls and then we have a little toaster oven right here
133
we have our regular oven right here
134
and then the sink we also have a dishwasher right here
135
but i don't really know
136
if we're going to use this dishwasher very much we're probably going gonna purchase some like paper plates
137
and bowls because it's just more convenient that way
138
so we can just throw them away instead of having to wash them all right everybody
139
that is where we are gonna wrap up today's video it's getting a little bit late
140
so we're probably gonna go out to eat
141
and then we will pick things up tomorrow
142
and I will show you guys a day here in Big Bear so stay tuned for that next video.
143
I hope you guys enjoyed this video.
