Shadowing Practice: My 2027 Cybertruck STANDARD First Look! We Waited For This?! - Learn English Speaking with Video

We're here at the Cybertruck Rodeo, just outside of Austin, Texas, but Tesla has showed up with the new entry-level Cybertruck.

This is the Cybertruck standard, but it is by no means standard, and I'm gonna show you why.

Let's take a look inside this thing.

We'll get to the outside in a minute, and you'll notice that it is black.

That's because Tesla has wrapped it, but check this out.

We've got textile and leatherette seats, kind of two-tone here.

We've got the gray, kind of a ballistic gray material on the doors, and we've got the LED RGB lighting inside here, which is really cool.

It was really nice of Tesla to bring this vehicle down.

I'm really excited about this thing because it opens up Cybertruck to a whole another level, a whole another kind of affordability level,

and you know you don't have to have a hundred grand

to get into really one of the most incredible vehicles of our lifetime.

So full stainless steel exoskeleton.

It's got the wireless charging pads in the center here.

They changed up a few things on the inside, but still it's extremely familiar to even a long time Cybertruck owner.

So we've got the same squircle steering wheel.

All the buttons remain the same.

They haven't taken anything away here.

Same screen.

They have reduced a few things like some of the sound system components.

So these speakers here are much smaller than they are in the other model.

We lost the Alcantara.

Obviously, we don't have suede interior, but you do have really nice black headliner here.

It is a textile material.

Same top dash as the premium dual motor,

which is nice, and the kind of tactical gray accents from the doors carry on throughout the length of the dash.

Center console is identical.

I don't see any changes to it, and really the most striking thing is these seats.

So let's just take another look at them.

So the design of the seats is very much the same.

You've got wide bolsters on the side.

When I was just sitting in it, I could feel it kind of hugging my kidneys there, which is nice.

Good thigh support here, lateral support.

We do have a power lumbar support.

So Tesla didn't cheap out on that as well.

So full power, adjustable, height adjustable seat, really, really nice.

Door sill entry plates are now the same sort of textured plastic that you would see in the other side, but instead of stainless steel or aluminum, they just kind of blend in,

but they do have the Cybertruck three-dimensional graffiti logo on there.

If we move to the back seat, let's check that out.

So in the rear is where you'll see a few more of the differences.

Door panels are very largely the same.

Great amount of storage down here, bottle holders as well, and there's also some new labeling on the emergency release for the back door, which is nice to see.

So sitting in the back seat here, we've got the loss of the center screen, which is to me not the end of the world, but you do have the vents here so they have removed

that rear display but we do have air conditioning heat vents and whatnot

we've got a mat pocket in the back of the seat let me slide through

and you can see the center seat here is still the same dark leather

which is kind of cool I don't think there oh there is a headrest okay yeah

so we've got a headrest in the center here so

adjustable headrest that's kind of cool there is a child seat latch tie down behind there as well

and it's quite comfortable so same dimensions as the standard Cybertruck

but we do have that cloth inlay that textile

which is kind of nice it's still a 60 40 split

and there is the pull little pull tabs here so we pull

that seat bottom folds up and you've got storage throughout let me pop

that other one up here and you'll see that there's lots

and lots of space here look at that flat floor so

if you've got a big dog they can lay down there super comfortable

and of course there's tons of aftermarket organizers and all

that sort of thing so tons

and tons of space look at this i can walk right through the vehicle

because of those 90 degree opening doors on the back.

Again, some of the Cybertruck design features are just, they just kind of make sense.

Let's go around the back.

This one does have the upgraded optional wheels.

There's a more kind of basic wheel.

They call it basic, but I like it.

It's an 18 inch one piece.

I think they call it the mantle or something like that.

Power tailgate or power release tailgate, I should say.

And it's got a hydraulic shock built in.

So again, they could have cheaped out and gone to a manual, but they do have that soft opening gate which is really nice.

In the back here you'll notice that there is no longer a smuggler's bay

so that extra little bit of storage in the bottom is gone

but the benefit is that when you're loading stuff in here like garden mulch

or gravel or whatever you don't have all those extra crevices for stuff to get stuck and slip down and whatnot.

Much much easier to clean out which I like

and we do have a couple of bed lights on the side LED bed lights and there's still mounting points

if you want to add some utility racks down the side in the future.

One of the best things that they did on this particular model was keep the power tonneau cover.

So one touch, super heavy duty.

This thing holds a couple hundred pounds of weight on the top and fully integrated.

The best part is you can open and close it from the app, open and close it from the screen while you're driving as well.

And it is super heavy duty.

I mean, check this out.

You can hop up here and sit on it.

It takes my weight.

I'm not a small dude.

So, super, you know, as far as utility, longevity, this is what you want.

You don't want to fool around with anything aftermarket because this is covered under the factory warranty as well.

So, again, tons of value.

And I think that's kind of the theme with this vehicle.

One thing I almost forgot.

Check this out.

One of the features that I think really makes a Cybertruck a Cybertruck is having that onboard power.

And so not just 110 power, but 240.

So we're talking about being able to power, you know, a laundry machine.

You could run a clothes dryer in the bed here.

You can run a welder or you can run heavy duty agricultural pumps or whatever you want through that power takeoff, which is fantastic.

Whether it's utility, camping, adventuring, whatever, it's all at your fingertips right there.

So I wanted to talk about this particular look.

that you can purchase separately through the the parts feature of cybertruck

so nothing has changed here you'll notice

that no nothing has been reduced no materials have been cheapened in any way

and overall i mean this truck is you know it's as

solid as it gets FSD capability is exactly the same whether

or not you go with the standard the premium

or the cyber beast this thing is going to be driving itself we also just got the latest update

that includes actual smart summon

so this is the only pickup truck on the planet you

can drive it around with your phone with nobody inside the vehicle

so many different use cases for having actual smart summon especially when you're alone working and you don't have some help, now the truck can step up and help you a little bit more.

Exterior mirrors, heavy duty ABS plastic.

They are a manual fold mirror now, so they're not power, but again, just super easy to pop them in, pop them out.

They got a breakaway feature front and back, but they are power adjustable, which is nice.

that they didn't cheap out they kept the power front trunk this is just my buddy's bag that's up here

but you still have that graffiti inlay that matches those door sills

so it gives a lot of sort of continuity of design throughout the truck

but lots of space here we got our washer fluid up on the top here

that remains unchanged full stainless steel setup

and of course you have the button on the inside there you know in case somebody climbs in

that sort of thing it glows in the dark they can get out okay

so it looks after itself we do have the same light bar

so again that did not get removed we did lose the rear light bar

but the front

that iconic cyber truck look remains the same even on the standard model now one of the things

that i love because i know the capabilities of this truck

and we're at the cybertruck rodeo right now where we are

just wheeling these things through some really technical stuff rock climbing we're crossing uh you know drive riverbeds doing all

that sort of thing but sometimes you do get stuck

so tesla tow hooks they supplied them here these are cast iron really really heavy duty

and what's cool is that they did not remove them for the standard model So again, that's something that they could easily remove.

I worked in legacy automotive selling pickup trucks for a really long time.

That was always an upsell.

It was like, oh, do you want the tow hooks for two, $300 or whatever it was?

And it was always, and everybody would be like, yeah, of course, because I might need to help somebody pull them out.

I might need to be pulled out.

If you're transporting the truck, it's a great tie down point.

There's all sorts of utility that you can get out of these hooks.

And of course, Tesla just is like, yeah, here they are for free.

It's just included even on what's considered to be the base model.

So I love that.

And it's continuing with the theme of not cheaping out.

We've got a front camera.

So when you're pulling in, doing some technical stuff, or even today, like we are off-roading here at the rodeo, you can keep an eye on those jagged rocks right down near the road level with that front camera.

So overall, the capabilities of this vehicle are fantastic.

And I love that on this model, Tesla really gave it some thought they didn't take away any of those things that truly make a Cybertruck a Cybertruck.

Now let's talk about one of the last big items, which is suspension.

And obviously I can't show it to you right now, but we do have a McPherson strut, a self auto dampening sprung suspension.

So gone is the air suspension.

You need to buy a premium or a Cyber Beast to get

that air suspension with the compressor and all that sort of thing.

But this is a really good setup and I'm really excited to drive it.

I'm excited to see what owners are going to do

because you can throw a lift kit on this truck really inexpensively compared to trying to modify a vehicle

that has air suspension.

So there's going to be a lot of different options available for this to really trick it out, have some fun off-road, have some great adventures.

But the ride from what I understand is really, really smooth with this setup here.

Again, Tesla spent a lot of time, a lot of money developing this spring suspension because it's going to be a super high volume seller.

Again, that lower price point, you've opened up your addressable market, your total addressable market exponentially because so many people can afford to get into this incredible vehicle.

And with all the value that I just walked you guys through, it's just a complete no-brainer of all the features that you're getting.

That power tonneau cover, you're getting, you know, the big monster screen, you're getting FSD capabilities, power front trunk, tow hooks, cameras all around, front, rear.

I mean, it's just absolutely packed with value.
