3
You're bright, you're ambitious, and you know that you're meant for more.
4
And every night when you go to sleep,
5
you have that thought of one day.
6
One day I'm going to achieve everything I have ever wanted.
7
Well, I want to congratulate you.
8
Because if you pay very close attention to this video,
9
that day will come sooner than you could ever imagine.
10
Because I'm going to go over the seven things that will unlock 100% of your God-given potential on this earth.
11
This is going to be a tactical based video.
12
My goal here is that you walk out of this with real things that you can do and apply straight away.
13
Now, a quick disclaimer.
14
You see, after you watch this video,
15
you're going to need a target.
16
You have all of this potential all of a sudden.
17
You need somewhere to aim all of this energy towards,
18
for example, starting that online business that you have been putting off.
19
So in order to accomplish that successfully,
20
I've gone ahead and left a link to my most popular YouTube video this year,
21
which breaks down a bunch of business models for beginners so that way you can find what is most appropriate for you.
22
Once you watch this video and you unlock 100% of your potential,
23
go ahead and click that link in the description and watch that video after.
24
And with that out of the way,
25
let's get into the seven things that will unlock 100% of your potential.
26
Step number one, you have to kill the boy.
27
You see, the reason that most likely you aren't achieving your potential is because you are still acting like a child.
28
And And for me, the difference between a boy and a man has nothing to do with your age.
29
I had to go from a boy to a man at a very young age.
30
The difference between a boy and a man is responsibility.
31
You become a man when you take full ownership and full responsibility of your life.
32
Most of you are thinking that someone is going to come and rescue you.
33
Most of you want to run away from reality instead of towards reality.
34
You have made a cozy home inside of your head where you think you can escape
35
and you just feel like you're not failing.
36
Meanwhile, in real life, your problems keep piling up nonstop.
37
I need you to understand that this is the boy.
38
The boy is the version of you who needs to be protected and can't handle and face reality.
39
And look, I get it.
40
There's a deep desire to protect that version of yourself because a warning for you,
41
the day you go from a boy to a man,
42
aka you stop absolving yourself of responsibility,
43
you start to run towards responsibility, not away from it.
44
It's very hard to go back.
45
But unfortunately, you have to kill him.
46
It simply doesn't serve you anymore.
47
Kill the boy and the man will become the only thing that's left.
48
And once you have done that,
49
you will see a new side of yourself.
50
The side of yourself that gets done ruthlessly.
51
The side of yourself that you needed to be all of these years.
52
Step number two is play the long game.
53
If you're giving 110% of yourself to short term games,
54
you're getting micro wins that don't build up to anything worthwhile in the future.
55
When you shift your mentality to a long term game,
56
and by the way, just so you understand,
57
I know maybe sometimes I say these things and they can come across a bit abstract in a video like this.
58
But let me just go ahead and zone it in.
59
What playing a long term game means is that when there's a dispute with a client or a customer,
60
and even though you know they're in the wrong,
61
you know that you're right in that situation.
62
It's funny, in my life,
63
I've had incredible relationships with my team,
64
with business associates, business partners,
65
and generally my wider network,
66
because I actually have something factored in.
67
It's called a get tax.
68
And it's part of my long-term strategy,
69
which is like, hey, I could sit here
70
and dispute all of these things every single time that I know I'm actually in the right,
71
or I'm just going to accept the fact that I'm playing a long-term game.
72
And as a part of a long-term game,
73
there's going to be certain situations where,
74
you know what, I'll just take the little L here for the much bigger W in the future,
75
aka you don't need to win every single battle as long as you win the war.
76
And I think one of the reasons this concept is so important is when you play a long-term game,
77
it's basically a reassurance to yourself that like,
78
you know, you're going to make it because when you play a long-term game,
79
it's basically telling yourself like,
80
Hey, this is a long game.
81
I know I'm eventually going to win the game.
82
So rather than focusing on these short-term ups and downs,
83
why don't I just focus on the grand mission and zone out for a bit?
84
And by the way, this doesn't even just apply in business.
85
It could apply outside of business.
86
So whether that is the way that you carry yourself day to day in business
87
or whether that's the way that you build your relationships.
88
I think a lot of people,
89
they don't think long term when it comes to relationships.
90
Everything's just so short term minded.
91
Oh, what can I get out of this person straight away?
92
That's not how life works.
93
Maybe at some of the lower levels, that's how it works.
94
But when you get into the upper echelon of society,
95
people can see people that are playing short term games.
96
And what it looks like to people is a train wreck that they want to avoid at all costs.
97
So I think truly when you decide to play a short term game,
98
I actually think it's quite a deep psychological trigger to yourself that like,
99
I'm not confident that I'm going to make it in the future.
100
Like I'm not confident that I will 100% do and accomplish everything I say in life.
101
Because if you know for a fact that you're going to accomplish and succeed in these things,
102
well, then you would definitely be eager to move forward.
103
But you're not going to be desperately in a rush like a lot of people you see out there.
104
And that brings us on to step number three,
105
which is be the youngest and brokest person in your friend group.
106
Now, that's not always possible, okay?
107
But you have to try your best.
108
You simply won't strive for more
109
if you're hanging around people who idolize you for doing the bare minimum to get yourself out of a terrible situation.
110
Look, I hate to say it,
111
but if you're making $10,000 a month, that's amazing.
112
That's commendable.
113
Like, congratulations.
114
But if you're hanging around people that think you're the greatest thing since sliced bread,
115
of course, you're never going to get any better.
116
I mean, yeah, for sure,
117
it feels good to be looked upon highly,
118
regarded highly,
119
but most people just don't have the balls to insert themselves
120
into a new group of people where they see you as a beginner.
121
So I want you to actively try to find people doing better than you and put yourself in a student's position.
122
And rule number one, don't try to impress them.
123
Honestly, you can't.
124
Be honest.
125
Ask for advice.
126
Be the mentee, not the mentor.
127
I'll be honest, that level of humility is so attractive and appealing to people who are later on in their careers.
128
So actually weaponize that.
129
Use that because it will take you so much further.
130
And I think that takes us perfectly into step number four
131
which is you have to be a lifelong learner
132
if i think of every single person i know who has
133
unlocked 100 of their potential they truly are lifelong learners
134
and it's interesting you can actually be super successful
135
but at the same time not be unlocking 100 of your potential
136
and i see it all the time i see people
137
that become successful and then they get really complacent
138
and then they're like oh well i already know enough
139
and it's like i mean yeah sure
140
but life's gonna give you a pretty big smack in the face
141
when at a certain point i don't believe in this concept of oh, just treading water.
142
I don't think that you can just stay in the same position.
143
I think you're actively either moving forward or moving backwards.
144
And there's really nothing in between.
145
So I think the action of not moving forward
146
and not educating yourself is you in the process of getting lapped by other people that do.
147
I wish I could sit here and explain how to do it.
148
I'll always hold my hands up and say,
149
like, I don't know how to tangibly give this to you.
150
I think it's just something that people develop or they have that moment where it clicks.
151
So like, just I think the only thing I can think of is like being
152
so process orientated and like enjoying the process so much
153
that you don't care about the result but truly
154
if I think about the most successful people I know they
155
are constantly educating themselves now I want to make it clear educating themselves doesn't mean watching podcasts
156
and reading books 24 7 although there's a place for
157
that stuff most of the time their education is in the
158
arena like in the arena of life like that's education like
159
doing things trying things speaking to people spending two weeks just immersing yourself in one specific topic, right?
160
Not like, oh, I'm going to listen to two hours of podcasts today.
161
And that's education.
162
I'll be honest, a lot of times that's not education.
163
That's just entertainment.
164
If you spend two hours a day specifically listening to really niche podcasts
165
or really niche videos or spending two hours with binaural beats on,
166
it's just you and Claude going back and forth sort of as a sparring partner and saying, OK, cool.
167
If you had to make me an expert on this topic in the next two hours,
168
how would you go about it?
169
So to me, that is what I mean when I say educate yourself,
170
educate yourself by playing in the arena of life or educate yourself by very thoughtful and curated self-education time.
171
Now, step number five is you must be ruthless with your self-accountability.
172
Look, I'm going to be honest with you.
173
You're the one lying to yourself,
174
not your partner, not your boss.
175
You.
176
You convinced yourself that watching podcasts counts as working on the business.
177
You convinced yourself that thinking about the offer is the same as building the offer.
178
You convinced yourself that being busy means productive.
179
One of my favorite things to do at the end of
180
the day is look at what my intention was going into the day.
181
And by the way, that's a topic for another video.
182
Feel free to leave in the comments if you want me to show you how to execute on a successful day.
183
By the beginning of the day,
184
you should have your intentions for the day.
185
But at the end of the day,
186
I love going back and going, all right, cool.
187
This is what I said I was going to do today.
188
Here's what I actually got done.
189
And that gap is just a reflection of how much you've been lying to yourself.
190
And sometimes I even face that problem.
191
But the problem with lying to yourself is
192
that it stops feeling bad after a while and then it just becomes a norm.
193
And then you start getting in this loop of thinking,
194
oh, well, it's fine if I didn't hit my non-negotiables for the day
195
or it's fine if I didn't execute on my intention for the day.
196
And look, there's always anomalies.
197
You're not going to hit it 100 percent of the time.
198
But when it becomes the norm for you not to do it compared to doing it,
199
well, then now you've created a self-fulfilling prophecy for yourself.
200
And I think step number six helps mitigate against all of this,
201
which is you must get your personal life in order before your business life flourishes.
202
You see, your business is a reflection of who you are as a person.
203
I know this might seem ridiculous,
204
but if you can't even remind yourself to make your bed or brush your teeth,
205
how the do you expect to run a successful enterprise.
206
Look, I don't want to sit here and pretend as though after a decade, I'm perfect.
207
Okay, even me, I'm not sometimes.
208
And I very much notice one for one that when my personal life is out of order,
209
out of whack, as in the way I show up personally for life,
210
then yeah, there's a very clear reflection of how my business life shows up.
211
Now, I'm very fortunate to be a decade in where I have 100 plus people working for me.
212
And there's systems and protocols and everything's got a place in an order and whatnot.
213
But still, nonetheless, there's definitely a business effect and things aren't moving at the pace they should be.
214
And if I had to put a bow on this entire thing,
215
it would be step number seven,
216
which is to fulfill 100% of your potential,
217
you must act then become issues right now.
218
What you're thinking is I'm going to do these things.
219
And then from there, once I do these things,
220
then I will have this image of myself.
221
That's not how it works.
222
Basically, your brain has a thermostat.
223
Okay.
224
And every time you go against that thermostat and that thermostat is basically your self identity.
225
Every time you go past that self identity for yourself,
226
what does your brain do?
227
It some things up in your life.
228
It's self sabotages because it wants you to come back to that thermostat.
229
It wants you to come back to that place of homeostasis.
230
So let's reverse them around.
231
First, you are going to have this image of yourself
232
and it's with that self-image that you will then carry out the actions.
233
Now, the beautiful part is when you carry out those actions,
234
it will reaffirm the self-image and then it just becomes this beautiful, prosperous cycle.
235
But it all predicates on you first building this image of yourself and then executing on it.
236
Now, look, if anything that I mentioned in this video seems harsh,
237
I want you to know that truly from above my heart,
238
it comes from a good place as someone who cares about you and wants to see you win.
239
And if you truly take everything I've just said to heart,
240
you are going to become unrecognizable.
241
These are all harsh realizations that I've had to find out myself the hard way.
242
So please take heed of what I've said.
243
Internalize it.
244
And once you do, you've unlocked 100% of your potential.
245
Check out that other YouTube video I recorded.
246
I'll leave the link in the description.
247
And as always, I'm watching from afar and I'm rooting for you.
