1
There's a bigger dream waiting for you,
2
just waiting for you to step into it.
3
Everything you try to do is already done.
4
So when I figured that out,
5
oh what I'm putting out is what's coming back,
6
let me get real clear about what it is I'm putting out.
7
Real clear.
8
So I read a book about 1989 called Seed of the Soul.
9
And in that book, Gary Zukav talked about the laws of karma,
10
of the laws of cause and effect,
11
the third law of motion.
12
And in that book, he talked about how intention,
13
your intention is always one with the law.
14
Meaning, before you even think about a thing,
15
you have an intention for the thing.
16
And that the intention is going to determine the outcome.
17
That's why the same people can go to the same church service
18
and somebody walked down the aisle just to be seen to put some money in the church
19
and somebody else who just goes and just has a little bit to offer.
20
The intention with which you give,
21
the intention with which you serve determines the outcome.
22
So when I figured that out, I went, whoa.
23
I changed everything I did on my show.
24
I called in the producers and I said,
25
from this day forward, I will no longer be speaking to the KKK.
26
I will no longer be speaking to people who are fighting each other in a way
27
that it is damaging to the character of myself and other people who watch.
28
From this day forward, I am only going to do intentional television.
29
So it is my intention,
30
my intention to fulfill the dream of the Creator.
31
It is my intention to live to the highest calling
32
and be pressed to the mark of the highest calling that I have come to do.
33
And when you can ask the Creator,
34
ask that which made you you,
35
What is your dream for me?
36
I guarantee you, instead of you trying to define the dream,
37
what is your dream for me?
38
If you're able to lean into the dream
39
that the universe and all the forces of light and love and power and grace
40
by all the names that we call God has for you,
41
nobody can touch you.
42
every single day, I would have a pre-show meeting and have the producers come in and state to me,
43
what is your intention?
44
How do we want to use whoever is on this show,
45
whatever is happening on this show,
46
to serve the audience in a way that fulfills the mission of uplifting,
47
enlightening, encouraging, as well as entertaining.
48
And if it doesn't do that,
49
then I can't do it.
50
There's a bigger dream waiting for you.
51
Just waiting for you to step into it.
52
To step into it.
53
Your life is big.
54
Your life is huge.
55
And we spend so much time wanting to be in somebody else's life.
56
and you don't get honored,
57
you don't get revered, you don't get celebrating,
58
wanting what somebody else has.
59
Because that which created you,
60
divine intelligence that dreamed you from before your ancestors ever knew they would become,
61
your ancestors, that which dreamed the seed of you wants you to know how special,
62
how wondrous, how mysterious, how complex,
63
how glorious, how phenomenal you are.
64
And you get no credit messing in somebody else's territory.
65
or trying to have power over something you have no control.
66
Another one of my favorite teachings is the Wizard of Oz.
67
When the Wicked Witch of the West says,
68
go away from here because you don't have any power here,
69
you have no power in any territory other than your own.
70
Oh, but you are the master of that.
71
You get to be the master of your own fate.
72
You get to be the captain of your own soul.
73
And if you just manage that,
74
if you just took care of your territory,
75
oh, the glorious, glorious, glorious,
76
wondrous, wondrous opportunities and possibilities that are waiting for you.
77
So the question is, what are you resisting?
78
What are you pushing against?
79
What are you not allowing?
80
What are you blocking?
81
Because you have this idea of who and what you're supposed to be.
82
Instead of leaning into the dream that's already been created and waiting for you.
83
It's waiting for you.
84
And the second, I mean, it's an instant thing.
85
It's a shift in the way you see yourself and the power from which you have come.
86
I went through some tough times after I left the Oprah show.
87
I made a conscious decision that when I felt I had said all
88
that I could say and the audience had heard it,
89
that I would move on
90
and that I would not spend my life regretting
91
or trying to hold on to what used to be or hold on to what I had.
92
So I dreamed this dream of starting a network.
93
And in the beginning, it was a struggle.
94
It was a struggle because I didn't,
95
honest to goodness, I did not know what I was doing.
96
I was trying to figure it out.
97
I was trying to figure it out.
98
I thought that the Oprah show audience would follow us to own,
99
then I realized y'all didn't have cable.
100
And if you had cable,
101
you did not have the own package.
102
so so it took me a minute
103
and unlike most people who you get to have your mistakes
104
in private some don't go right in your life you get to sulk about it in private
105
if i make a mistake it's on the cnn crawl
106
or the cnn news so when i was in the climb
107
and there were so many wonderful owners i see churl action jackson here there were
108
so many wonderful owners people who said oh we're going to stand with you.
109
We're going to stand by you.
110
Thank you, Roland Martin.
111
There were so many people who said,
112
listen, we believe that this can happen.
113
So I dreamed the dream along with Tyler Perry,
114
who was my friend who came to me and said,
115
Tyler, Tyler said, I'm going to help you out.
116
Cause Tyler can go home and write a script and direct it,
117
produce it and shoot it and do it for less money than anybody in Hollywood.
118
So we started with the foundation of have and have nots.
119
If loving you is wrong,
120
love thy neighbor, Mama Hattie.
121
And then I started to dream another dream about scripted television because in the beginning I was told you couldn't do it.
122
You couldn't do it, didn't have enough money to do it.
123
And I dreamed the dream.
124
I read Proverbs 11, 28 that says,
125
Those who trust in their riches will fall,
126
but the righteous will rise and thrive like a green leaf.
127
you

在英语口语中,学习者可以运用这一结构,比如:“My intention is to...” (我的意图是...)
  • 提问的技巧:她提到了询问创造者对自己的梦想,这种提问技巧可以帮助学习者掌握更复杂的句型。例如:“What is your dream for me?”
