1
The people that are saying
2
that we're getting dumber are the ones that use their left brains a lot
3
because what's happening is the machines are replacing our logical thinking
4
but the people that are not saying that you're getting dumber are the people
5
that use their right brain mostly and so if you're using your right brain naturally already, you're much more into creativity, flexibility, self-development, and that side of life.
6
And so I don't think we're getting dumber.
7
We're becoming more human than we've ever been
8
because the bullshit we used to worry about has been taken care of for us.
9
So let's say, for example, the concept of Google Maps again, or the concept that you're not memorizing anymore phone numbers,
10
email addresses, addresses, any of these things.
11
Is that Is that making you dumber?
12
It's not.
13
But this will extend itself into other aspects of our lives, but it won't take away the things that we really want to explore,
14
because we will move from survival into thriving.
15
Because most people will start becoming accessible to the basics, and the number of people in the middle class has never been bigger,
16
there's never been more females being educated, there's never been any of these things that are creating a much bigger level playing field that we're starting to see.
17
So we're coming out of survival, and out of this remedial linear lives and
18
when we move into a world where most things don't cost a lot of money, just look at what Elon Musk has just done to transportation.
19
Could you have ever imagined it would be that much cheaper?
20
No. Could you have ever imagined that WhatsApp would come and give you this opportunity to talk to the world?
21
No. We just never did.
22
But these things happen.
23
And so when we can't see them, we don't think they're going to happen, but of course they're going to happen because that's the trajectory that's going to come.
24
And so what happens is this level playing field gets us to be more human than we've ever been, gets us an opportunity to actually explore the things that make us human, not to survive.
