that you have Navarro filing an over $10 million lawsuit against Farrell,

including other members of the band joining this suit against Perry Farrell.

Obviously, this is a major development in this situation where we saw last year Farrell issuing a public apology to his bandmates,

especially Dave Navarro, for those onstage actions.

And here is what we know about this brand new lawsuit, which was just filed against Perry Farrell of Jane's Addiction.

What started as a highly anticipated reunion tour for one of rock music's most iconic and volatile bands has now completely imploded,

ending in a multi -million dollar lawsuit pitting bandmate against bandmate.

This isn't just about a concert that went off the rails, this is about a physical altercation,

alleged backstage assaults, and accusations that threatened to permanently disband Jane's Addiction.

Guitarist Dave Navarro along with bassist Eric Avery and drummer Stefan Perkins has filed a major lawsuit against their own frontman, Perry Farrell.

And the details are explosive.

Navarro is personally suing Farrell for assault and battery, but it doesn't stop there.

All three members are collectively suing the singer for a laundry list of grievances, including emotional distress, negligence, and a breach of contract.

On September 13th of last year, the classic lineup of Jane's Addiction, a lineup that hadn't toured together in 14 years, was on stage at the Leader Bank Pavilion.

This tour was a huge deal for fans and apparently a massive personal and financial undertaking for the group, but during a performance of their song Ocean Size,

the reunion dream turned into a public nightmare.

Now, video captured by fans in the audience show Perry Farrell and Dave Navarro getting in each other's faces.

It quickly escalates from shouting to shoving.

Farrell lunges at Navarro, who tried to fend him off.

Crew members and even bassist Eric Avery had to jump in to physically separate the two.

The show was immediately cut short, leaving a stunned audience in disbelief.

They released a statement apologizing to fans and canceled their next night's show.

Farrell's wife, Eddie, also gave her perspective on social media at the time, claiming Perry's frustration had been building for nights.

She said he felt the stage volume was too loud, drowning out his voice, and that he was suffering from tinnitus.

She even alleged that after Perry shoved Navarro, bassist Eric Avery put Farrell in a headlock

but now the new lawsuit filed on july 16th paints an even more detailed

and damaging picture of what was going on behind the scenes and what allegedly happened after the cameras stopped rolling.

According to the 36 page complaint, the fight didn't end on stage.

Navarro alleges that backstage nobody could calm Perry Farrell down.

The lawsuit claims that when Navarro confronted Farrell about the onstage violence, Farrell threw another punch striking Navarro on the left side of his face.

The suit also notes this was particularly triggering for Navarro given his history as a victim of violent crime in his youth.

Most notably, Dave Navarro had been battling a severe case of long COVID since 2022, which forced him off the road.

He was receiving $25 ,000 a month from a disability insurance policy.

In order to rejoin Jane's addiction for this tour, the lawsuit states Navarro terminated those disability payments, money he likely would have received for several more years.

He also claims that Perry Farrell convinced him to postpone his own wedding in Scotland,

which cost him $50 ,000 in non -refundable deposits just to accommodate more tour dates.
