What is your experience?

In terms of my feeling, of course, it was very shocking.

But when it comes to someone's health, and especially for a very high-level artist, it's her career, we always have to be cautious.

Of course, I have so much emotions.

I have to admit, my eyes were wet.

I was very sad, but as an organizer, I had to think as an organizer.

I could not think personally.

I had to feel, I had to put my emotions in the side

and think about the people that were going to come to the venue.

Of course, there are people that may say some negative things because they expected a show, but I personally feel much better now.

Of course, still sad because we are not able to show what we have been planning for two years.

and I'm sure all of the viewers of South Stars saw the setup of the venue.

So I just want to let everyone know that as a leader of the team, I need to be able to be strong and to be able to show that,

you know, even with challenges we have to move on forward.

You know, when dealing with a touring show, there are a lot of discussions that needs to be done.

Number one as a local organizer, number two together with the promoter, number three with the management of the tour, and number four with the management of the artists.

And regarding a rescheduling, yes.

We have talked to Ariana Grande's management to be able to have Vietnam as a priority in the next tour.

And we hope that Ariana Grande is able to come back to Vietnam very soon and have a new tour.

But we also understand that Ariana Grande has gone through many things in the past half, three months.

And we respect her very much.

Someone who could continue on.

It was just very unfortunate that it was Vietnam where she felt very sick.

So discussing with Ariana Grande's management, yes, we are anticipating for her to come back to Vietnam.

Because she wanted to perform very much.

but as a singer, you know, if you do not have your voice, you cannot give the quality.

Yes, that is 100% correct.

Regarding the ticket sales, it should not be a concern with the public.

Even if there's one person in the show to 10,000 people, I made a promise.

I made a promise that I will prepare everything as a local organizer.

So I want to say this, ticket sales should not be even a rumor.

Even if we had one person, I will tell that one person, thank you.

Thank you for supporting us, we will give you a show.

As an organizer, you know, you will not bring 90 people total to come to Vietnam.

You will not give the VIP service.

You will not book the hotel.

You will not pay for the food.

You will not set up an international standard stage and cancel at the last minute because you do not have any tickets.

That's not true.

Why would there be a contract, you know?

People know me as being part of the IMEX Pan Pacific group.

I am a businessman.

But most of all, I'm a fan.

I'm a concert goer.

I will not risk my reputation and I will not risk the emotions of people trusting me.

Whew!

You know, you saw the stage, right?

Yes.

You saw the VIP.

You saw everything.

Yes.

Beautiful.

Yes.

We saw how much love there was from the community.

We saw people from Southstar, people from all of the media,

and all of the people from close friends to showbiz industry to people that I just met and I have not met,

you know, Facebook, Instagram, people in the street.

They look at me and they nod their head and they say like, good job.

Because to do what we did, we should not put our head down.

You know, people have challenges in life.

It's not something we should be ashamed of.

And what we lost, you know, I think the saddest part for me is not about the finances because I believe in myself.

I believe that my mind could create concepts and ideas to make a business, you know.

I'm not scared to try harder next time.

What I feel that we lost was the moment,

the selfie, the high-five with people like, what a moment, you know.

with all of the fans, even you guys, for the media, to say like, wow, what a show.

We should not stop.

We showed to the world that Vietnam is ready for this one.

It was just unfortunate that Ariana Grande was feeling very sick that day, especially the throat, bronchitis.

For the chain smokers, we have been in contact with management immediately from the day of the Ariana Grande until today.

This morning we had meetings for the production.

It's going to be a good show.

If you go to Chainsmokers Facebook page, they already posted about Vietnam.

They're excited.

They've heard so much good things about the Vietnamese community where they support 100%.

The love we have regarding the word EDM community, to music industry, to the love of artists,

come to Chainsmokers and see what we have been planning to do.

I cannot convince people if they don't trust us.

The only way people could trust me again is to come to the show to the show.

Again, it was very unfortunate that Ariana Grande, she tried her best to take the medicine,

feel much better, but there was an overall decision to try to see how she felt until the last minute.

And it's unfortunate that the show got cancelled five hours before the show.

We invited the best of the best producers, show directors, lighting managers, best of the best to come to Vietnam.

And they came to Vietnam and they are very happy with our production.

This is the first time in Vietnam that a touring show come.

So to the public in Vietnam, to everyone that says, Oh, hmm, will he be able to bring international artists?

Yes.

Why not?

As I told you, everything regarding the contracts, everything regarding production, regarding hospitality, we did.

It was just unfortunate Ariana Grande was sick.

So, there's nothing on us as the local organizer.

You know, we had the bosses from all of the top international companies from America come here and say, like, wow, we are excited for Vietnam.

I have learned a lot.

And I want to be able to do what I learned with Ariana Grande

to bring to the local Vietnamese community the production quality.

We have to build the music industry.

We have to work with our partners to get people to say, like, to say like we have to bring our standard much higher.

So to the international artists, we will be smarter on how we deal with it.

We may invite two artists to do one show.

We might do smaller artists and have five, ten artists at one show.

So that in case one is sick, there's still a show.

You know, there's so many other artists in the world that the Vietnamese people want to see.
