It's like, no. Has that been such a surprise to see how massive it's gotten just right when your album comes out?

It's crazy.

I was just saying even today, I was like, wow, I'm just so amazed at how the song is doing and how everyone's reacting to the song.

It's definitely not what I expected.

I didn't probably know what to expect, but yeah, I'm glad.

Because when you put it out, you're not thinking like, oh, I think that song is going to do well or that song is, it's just kind of nice to see the fans, you know, blow it up.

When you scroll on social media, are you seeing like your own song?

Is it coming up?

I am.

Yeah.

Is that trippy?

Yeah, I don't enjoy it.

No?

I mean, it's cool, but then like if it keeps happening, it's like you hear yourself so many times and you're like, ah.

If I hear myself, my voice, oh, it's the same thing.

I know exactly what you're talking about.

And your rapping is so good.

It's been so fun to see your journey and development.

How do you think your sounds evolve in your own project for the first time as well?

I've noticed that I didn't realize how many genres

and different type of sounds that I wanted to tap into before I worked on this album.

and you know I'm finding myself really as I'm going I'm

learning how to rap for the first time almost how to sing for the first time

because I've never like in a good way I've never been

able to really focus on only on myself I've always had

the girls with me you know I've always had other things happening around me

but for this for this album I got to really sit down

and explore different voices and sounds and it was great

so I'm looking into I'm gonna look into it and find out more about

Who and what kind of sound that I want to like hold on to?

Mm-hmm.

Is your confidence and like comfort level at like an all-time high for making music?

No, I feel like though I need more time in the studio for me to feel that way, but I think it was a great start and I've met

so many amazing people on the way to and they've inspired me

in a way that I was able to finish this album.

So I can't wait to get back and, you know, get into it more.

You feel like a workaholic a little bit?

Like, you just love to keep working?

You know what, though?

It's not all work that I love.

So I don't consider myself as a workaholic.

Wait, do I?

You and Dua Lipa sound so good together.

Our voices, though.

I love it, too.

I love our voices together.

I loved hearing that song.

I remember for the first time and it's like a perfect peanut butter jelly sandwich, you know, or like when you get the right amount of coffee creamer in your coffee.

It's like, thank you.

It flows so well together.

Such a sweet compliment.

I appreciate that.

I was so curious about like you guys have been friends for a little bit too.

What have you learned from just your friendship with her?

She's such a caring person in general.

And we used to like do dinners and we would meet at parties.

And every time she's always like making sure if I'm good and happy and healthy is everything good around you.

So she's someone that's always made sure that I feel, you know, I'm feeling good.

So to have her work on a song on this album,

she it's like a great it's like having a great friend at work with you.

You know, like what more can I ask for?

She's supportive and she's obviously giving, sharing her beautiful voice with me on this album.

Like, I'm just so happy.

And it was a great day when we had the shoot.

It felt like we were just out in New York in the cold wearing crazy outfits, just jamming to a song.

You're one of the global forces for 2025.

That sounds so cool.

Obviously, your mom is such an important figure in your life.

But what about some other women that have inspired you and helped shape your journey?

On my team, there's so many strong women.

I have so many strong women around me that are really in every step of the way that I'm in.

So to have that bond to always kind of shows, taught me a way to respect them.

And I'll always be learning from people around me.

So to be that person for somebody else would be an honor.

And I want to do well and take care of this honor. Of course.

What would you say is a motto you're living by right now?

To be present.

Like, that's what I tell myself every day.

To just enjoy what's in front of you

and see what's in front of you not that was something that was in your past or something that's gonna happen.

Just like try to embrace everything that goes on around in your day.

And it could be like the smallest things too.

So to live in the present.

Yeah, I mean, that's a good one.

That's tough too.

Yeah, and it really, yeah, you've got to put some effort into it.

Yeah, and time just flies, you know, we're looking forward to Coachella.

I'm so excited to see you.

I'll be out there.

You get ready for your, yeah, your first solo debut, which has got to be so exciting.

What are the feelings?

Like, what's going on internally?
