At What's Next with AWS,
2
we shared how agentic AI is changing what work can be for individuals,
3
for businesses, and for builders.
4
Now, here's the heart of it.
5
The real opportunity isn't bolting agents into old workflows.
6
It's rethinking work around what agents make possible.
7
First, we unveiled a whole new version of Amazon Quick that changes how you work.
8
It's an AI assistant that connects to all the systems you use,
9
like email, Slack, Jira, and Salesforce.
10
It builds a living understanding of your priorities,
11
your team, and how you like to work.
12
And it doesn't just answer questions.
13
It can actually take action on your behalf.
14
We also shared a new family of agentic solutions,
15
Amazon Connect, bringing agentic AI into key business functions like customer service,
16
healthcare, hiring, and supply chain management.
17
And we built these agent-native solutions from the ground up,
18
drawing on Amazon's own experience operating at scale.
19
And finally, big news here,
20
we announced our deepening partnership with OpenAI.
21
You could access now the latest OpenAI Frontier models on AWS.
22
Codex will also be available on AWS.
23
And we announced for the first time Amazon Bedrock managed agents powered by OpenAI,
24
all running on the AWS infrastructure you already know and trust.
25
Together, these announcements show how we're helping customers turn agentic AI from possibility into practical value.
26
Here are some of the highlights from the event.
27
Across almost every single industry and every customer I talk to,
28
agents are absolutely exploding and changing the way people do business.
29
And I see many more opportunities for job growth in new areas and for new capabilities,
30
frankly, than we have before.
31
And I think AI and agentic development has completely transformed what is possible in the software development world.
32
You can both do things faster,
33
but you can also kind of change those business processes for the better.
34
In an agentic world, it's not the UI that's differentiating,
35
it's the workflows, it's the data behind it.
36
The incumbents don't have to be legacy.
37
QUIC is exactly this.
38
And frankly, I've used a lot of AI productivity tools and tested them.
39
This one is by far the biggest game changer for me personally.
40
Today, we are launching new technology that will change how work gets done.
41
The local files, calendar, email,
42
other apps, all coming together with Quik.
43
Quik connects the dots between people, projects, decisions, and actions.
44
So what we did was build Quik from the ground up.
45
It knows you.
46
It knows the full context of the people you work with take what we've learned in our business
47
and in many cases we sort of outgrow off-the-shelf applications
48
and we end up building our own applications to run our business usually around scale
49
or complexity pace of innovation and surely there's an opportunity for us to take
50
that learning take those capabilities
51
and put them in the hands of aws customers we are
52
going to expand the amazon connect name to be a family amazon connect starts to stand for agentic business solutions.
53
I mean this is not about data processing.
54
It's not about delivering you another pretty dashboard.
55
It's really about getting at high quality decisions at the speed of today's business.
56
Moving planners from reactive to strategic decision making,
57
getting to the point where they're actually managing the business versus reacting to the escalations and the external
58
So I'm a supply chain planner,
59
and I was just handed one of our hardest challenges.
60
I need to prepare for a new product launch with no sales history.
61
In the time it takes to get a coffee,
62
I have a demand plan that previously would have taken me weeks.
63
Plan, decide, act, learn.
64
That's the Amazon Connect decisions.
65
The science behind the application is impressive.
66
We've directed agents to review the job description,
67
identify competencies, create interview questions,
68
and build an assessment rubric for this role.
69
Talent has completed a review and generated a full plan.
70
Talent takes Amazon's decades of hiring expertise and puts it to work for every company.
71
You know, this is day zero for us.
72
We are on a journey now to deliver customers agentic transformation that is intuitive and that learns with them.
73
And so you can expect us to continue to expand the capabilities here.
74
We're really just finding a place to start.
75
And this is something that we're invested in for a long time.
76
And I'm really excited to have customers that are interested in this journey
77
and are willing to come with us and actually look at reinventing the future together.
78
And so we're just at the beginning.
79
to see AI lower the barrier to creating new products,
80
doing important scientific work, bringing new ideas into the world, and much more.
81
But to make that real for companies and particularly large enterprises,
82
great models are only one part of the answer.
83
These systems need to run reliably and robustly.
84
They need to be secure,
85
they need to scale, and they need to fit in the environments where companies already run their businesses.
86
That's what makes this partnership with AWS so important.
87
We are co-developing an agent platform from the ground up,
88
deeply integrated with AWS services and powered by OpenAI's most advanced models
89
and tools so that customers can build and run powerful agents in their own environment without worrying about the underlying plumbing.
90
From the very early days of AWS,
91
customers have asked us, how can we get OpenAI models inside of AWS?
92
That's really what they want.
93
And so this partnership is bringing those two together and building new capabilities.
94
And it's a partnership that I'm excited about will deliver for customers for decades to come.
95
Bringing the power of GBT 5.5,
96
our APIs, codecs, all on Amazon Bedrock allows our customers to focus on what matters.
97
This is what our customers have been asking us for for a really long time.
98
Their production applications run in AWS,
99
their data is in AWS,
100
they trust the security of AWS and kind of building your application where your models
101
and your data and everything and kind of lives in the same place inside of your secure environment.
102
It's one of the things that I think drives innovation.
103
It's something that customers have been looking forward to for a really long time.
104
Bedrock Managed Agents allows customers to take OpenAI's Frontier Harness
105
and models and combine them together in an agent that lives natively within AWS.
106
Giving this rich set of capabilities out to a wide set of customers where they can really go unlock their creativity,
107
stop doing kind of the monotonous tasks and just go build is something that is,
108
it's kind of what gets me up in the morning.
109
It's what people at AWS get excited about.
110
And this partnership I think is just further turbocharging what we're able to let customers do.
111
That was What's Next with AWS.
112
Take a closer look at what we've launched and how Agentec AI is changing how business gets done.
113
Thank you and we can't wait to see what you build next with AWS.
114
Thank you.
