So I'm just gonna make this one short, cut to the chase and talk to you guys on how to work on your listening skill.

When you're trying to communicate with someone, obviously you have to listen to understand and comprehend what the other person is saying.

And then you process the information to come up with an appropriate response, right?

That's listening skill.

So how do you work on that?

Basically what I did when I first started was I listened to a lot of music.

Not any type of music but hip hop music to be exact.

Any type of music is cool as long as you enjoy it.

The enjoyment factor is going to help you through your learning process.

But hip hop music to me is like a form of communication between the artist and the audience.

There's a lot of information being given and being received.

So I need you to go do the same thing.

Just listen to a lot of hip hop.

Is that easy enough?

Remember to look up the lyrics so you can read while you're listening.

That way it's gonna help you work on your vocabulary more.

One more thing man, you should listen to artists that can articulate really well.

Because don't get me wrong man, I love new school in hip hop.
