Hi guys, welcome to my house.

Today we're going to be doing a video in slow, comprehensible English.

Showing you the real life English that we use from day to day.

And today we are going to be looking at my house.

I'll be showing you guys my bedroom, my kitchen,

my living room and my bathroom and the other rooms

that are in my house two years ago my house burnt down

so we recently rebuilt my house and now we have a new house

so we'll be showing you guys a little bit of it today.

Let's go.

Before we go inside my house right now I'm standing in my backyard.

My backyard is pretty big.

It's a good place for my dogs Shadow and Atlas to run around

but yeah we have a couple of trees in my yard

one of the trees is an apple tree where we have

some apples another tree is a pear tree where we have

some pears I also have over here a shed where we have some extra stuff laying around

you can see my dogs like to take wood from the tree and they like to eat it.

I don't know why it's kind of crazy but that's how it is.

As you can see walking around my backyard

we have some apples on this tree they are pretty small

apples they're not too big they have a little leaf on them

but they are not good to eat I don't like these apples they taste a little bit sour, these apples.

It's kind of weird.

But besides the apples, we also have some pears.

Let's see.

It does not want to get off the tree.

We'll see if we can grab another pear.

It looks like that pear right here,

if I can grab it, rip.

These are pears.

These pears are pretty good.

I like to eat the pears

but the apples I I don't like to eat the apples

they're too sour the apples there's a sunset right there

and I'm filming this video at sunset but that is my backyard and as As you can see,

Shadow is trying to eat the pear.

My husky loves to eat the pears.

I don't know why, he's a little crazy.

But let's go inside the house and see what we have in there.

Now we are inside my house as you can see

if we come over here we have the kitchen area

and then on this side we have the living room

or the living area and over that way we have the bathroom

and my room I really like this house it's pretty brand new

so we still have a fridge where our fridge does not

have anything on it it's pretty blank there's nothing on it

but we do have a lot of cabinets a good kitchen area

and i really like to cook in this area okay as you can see right here is

my stove my stove is electric so it's kind of crazy how it works it uses electricity to heat

the pots we also on this side have a big island

in english we say island for a big counter made of stone

but yes so we have a pretty big island usually the island is where we put our dishes

and down here we have some seats that I like to use to sit

but when I eat we usually I usually eat on the island.

I don't eat too much at the dinner table

because we usually have our clothes or something like that using the table space. But yeah,

I usually eat at the island we also have a pretty big sink here this sink is nice

because it's very big so

when I'm cleaning all of my pots I can just put all of the pots in the sink

and it is a lot easier to do also So in this kitchen,

we have a little fridge that we call a wine cooler,

usually because we'll place our wine in this, and then you can place your other drinks over there.

We also have a microwave in here,

so you can see the microwave and we have an oven down below so you can cook in the oven down here

it is an oven stove top combo

so you can cook on the stove on top

and heat something up in the oven underneath

if you like to bake sometimes this right here this cabinet we call a pantry a pantry

because inside this cabinet we keep food

so where you keep food sometimes they'll call a pantry now we'll go from the kitchen area

and we'll go over to the living room okay now we're in my living room

and in the living room is where people usually do their living.

It usually has two couches or some couches and a little bit of decorations.

So we have a photo of our family and then we have a Christmas tree that we never put away.

We never put away the Christmas tree because we are a little lazy.

We don't like to clean too much.

So we didn't put away the Christmas tree.

We just leave it all year round and it's a nice addition to the living room.

In our living room we also have the front door.

The front door is where you enter a house.

So we have our front door

and then we have over here we have a glass door

that they call a sliding door that slides to the outside to the backyard

our living room is kind of in the same room as our kitchen and as our dining area or dining room

but we don't have a room so we call it a dining area or our dining table over here

i have some tennis equipment i enjoy tennis so i like to play tennis

and we have a ball machine down here that allows the balls to be shot out and you can hit them

so i have a ball machine for tennis over here is a closet but since we put our coats in them

we call it a coat closet here in the u .s

so it's a coat closet i have some of my tennis equipment in there some of my tennis balls

and just a bunch of coats

Another thing that my family likes to do is they really like to ride their bikes

So my family is really into bike riding My mom has

a bike machine where she puts this machine to the back of her wheel

And you can ride it

while you're inside the house you might ask why would we

ride a bike inside our house well here in the northwest of the u .s it snows

and it gets very cold so when it's cold

and snowing we can't ride our bikes

but that's why we'll usually use a bike machine or something like

that in this room over here we have a mud room

is how they call it again usually these will have walls with another door

but since our house now is one big room I can't say

that this is a mud room but we have some random tools

because we don't have a garage or a place outside to put them in

so we have some random tools I have a machine

that I use to put the strings on a tennis racket

and we have a dishwasher and a dryer down here

and a little sink with a mop down here

that we use to mop a second mop down below

and we have our vacuum machine this is a vacuum machine

because it sucks up all of the dirt on the ground

but my dogs they have a ton of fur

so every single day we have to vacuum this house pretty much daily

or every day now we'll go on towards my room and I'll show you my bedroom.

We have a little hallway here going to the bedroom

and once you come to the left you'll be able to see my bedroom.

so in my room we have a surfboard

because I was a surf instructor so I really like to surf

so we have a surfboard with some fins and my bed

and then a simulator they call this a simulator

because it has a wheel and you can pretend like you're driving in a real car.

It's kind of crazy but my fiance loves to drive in the simulator so it's pretty fun.

Next up we have my desk setup.

This is where we have my computer down below

and then I have two monitors so these are monitors it's the screens

that we have for computers right we have also a laptop down below

so this is the laptop that I use for school but I normally use my computer to do homework.

I have a little camera for YouTube videos and I have a headset for when I'm talking to somebody online.

This is my keyboard.

I also have a mouse pad and I have a pretty cool mouse

that is wireless so you can move your mouse around without having a wire

so it's wireless it's pretty cool I like it

but next up we have kind of our decorations for the room I'm not too big on decorating my room

so I don't have too much stuff you know I'm kind of minimalist is what some people would say

when you don't care about having too much stuff but yeah these are my decorations Mainly,

it is of my time abroad here in Mexico and my fiance,

I love her, and we have some things that we took from traveling abroad.

Over here is my to -do list.

As you can see, I am terrible at completing my to -do list.

I don't like to do many things that I need to do

so you could call me a procrastinator I take too long to do my things

and I always try to do something else other than my

homework in here we have my closet my closet is kind

of messy I don't know it's pretty messy I have clothes a little bit everywhere

but I do try to hang up my clothes using a hanger

but sometimes I forget to put my clothes on a hanger

and it ends up on the floor in there but

that is my closet and this is my room now we have a one more room

which is my bathroom my bathroom is also right off the hallway

and in my bathroom we have a tub it's kind of

crazy we actually have a tub we have a tub here then we have some mirrors you can say hi

that we have we also have a sink two sinks actually with some cool lights and a shower.

I really like that our shower has a shower head that you can remove.

It's pretty cool, but you can remove the shower head

and we have some cool lights for when you're taking a shower

but yeah that is my bathroom now we can go outside

but instead of going to the backyard we're going to be going to the front yard

and I'll show you guys a little bit about the front

yard we'll see a little bit of stuff in the front yard open the door makes it click

so this is my front yard I just set the lock on my door so that nobody comes in

but this is the front yard that we have my front yard is also kind of big

we have a little space with trees and on this side we have space for a couple of cars

but yeah this is my front yard

and usually in the U .S people will put their trash bins out in their front yard

so as you can see we have a trash bin

and then we have a recycling bin

and the recycling bin usually is a little bit smaller than the trash bin

because the trash bin is for any type of trash

but the recycling bin is for only metals or plastics that you can recycle

and that is a little bit of my house I kind of went quick through the different rooms
