What if I told you that you've been playing the most important game of your life, but nobody ever gave you the instruction manual?
2
Hi muses!
3
Welcome back to my channel where we talk about how women can have their cake and eat it too.
4
I'm your host Nadine and I'm here to rebuild the village woman once had
5
so we can have the right conversations and create lives that feel as good as it looks.
6
Please like, subscribe, and turn on the notification bell so you don't miss anything.
7
they hate, expiration dating people because they got too comfortable, repeating the same problems and cycles, just living on autopilot mode.
8
On the flip side, there's a small percentage of people who seem to move through life more strategically.
9
They understand leverage, opportunity, people, they're socially intelligent, and they understand timing and positioning.
10
When to move, when to wait,
11
leaves you clues on what you need to do.
12
So today, I want to talk about the hidden mechanics of the game we're all already playing, whether we like it or not,
13
and the strategies that will completely change the way you approach life.
14
As always, we don't get keep, so let's step into it.
15
Most people only operate from surface level awareness.
16
They focus on what's directly in front of them.
17
Bills, deadlines, stress, notifications, drama, responsibilities.
18
But is another operating system in the background running your entire life.
19
I think of life almost like three layers.
20
The first layer is the conscious mind.
21
That's your surface awareness, your thoughts, decisions, logic, what you're actively paying attention to.
22
But that's honestly only a tiny percentage of what drives your behavior.
23
Underneath that is the subconscious mind.
24
This is where most of the game is actually being played.
25
Your habits, emotional conditioning, your fears, patterns, your what feels familiar to you, and what you subconsciously believe you deserve.
26
Most people try to change their lives only at the conscious level.
27
You make a vision board, you set the goals, you get motivated for three days.
28
But if your subconscious programming still believes, I'm not good enough, I always mess things up, I have to struggle to deserve things,
29
you will unconsciously sabotage yourself back into familiarity.
30
In a book I read recently called The
31
how much good we allow ourselves to have before we think it's too much
32
and we recalibrate to a level we're comfortable at.
33
Because the goal of your subconscious mind is not to make you successful.
34
It's to keep you safe by keeping you in your comfort zone.
35
And then there's the super conscious level.
36
Woo, girl talk or not, this is just what I believe, okay?
37
So the super conscious level is your intuition, your creativity, how abundant you feel, or like when you're in flow state doing the things you love.
38
This level is your ability to see possibilities beyond your current circumstances.
39
So your deepest ideas and breakthroughs come from here.
40
And while most people stay trapped only reacting to surface reality,
41
the strategic successful girlies understand that the real game is played and won underneath the surface.
42
One of the first things you have to accept in life is that you don't choose your starting character.
43
So here's where we do our character optimization.
44
You don't get to choose your family,
45
your childhood, your genetics, your and honestly some people absolutely start with advantages.
46
Some people are born with more money, more resources, better connections, a loving and supportive family, easier access to education, or just a cleaner runway
47
and one of the biggest traps in the game of life
48
is wasting your time hating on other players instead of focusing on upgrading yourself.
49
You can't control your starting stats but you can control how much you level yourself up over time.
50
Kind of like you're designing your game character, right?
51
You have a skill tree and skill points.
52
And the biggest upgrade categories in the game of life are your health, skills, appearance, relationships, and environment.
53
Health is one of the most important yet underrated stats, especially when you're younger and you're not really thinking about taking care of yourself.
54
But how well you take care of yourself will set you up for life.
55
Health determines your energy and that affects your mood, including how you decision making.
56
it affects how good you look too.
57
So a burnt out, dysregulated, exhausted player is not going to be making the best choices in this game.
58
You don't have to be the most optimized and the healthiest version of you to do well in life.
59
But if you are unhealthy, then the damages hurt you a lot more.
60
Then there are skills you need to attain.
61
The highest ROI skills are usually the ones that compound over time.
62
There are eight skills that are really worth investing in, and those are technology, sales,
63
storytelling, relationship building, and having good judgment.
64
A lot of what people think is confidence is honestly just competence.
65
So the more capable you are, the more evidence you build that you can actually trust yourself.
66
Now appearance, whether people like to admit it or not, the way you present yourself changes the energy of how people experience you.
67
It affects their perception of you, how you're treated, and honestly, the opportunities you have.
68
say that this is all about looking perfect or looking good, but you need to get intentional with how you carry yourself and move through the world.
69
We all know that pretty privilege is real, but it can be as simple as learning how to dress nicer, how to take care of yourself better so you're well -groomed,
70
a haircut that suits you.
71
What message do you want to send when people see you?
72
And sometimes the glow up is less about becoming hotter than it is about becoming more intentional how you feel about yourself.
73
And your appearance is a form of communication that happens before you speak.
74
The next stat is your relationships.
75
Your relationships affect your opportunities, self -perception, emotional state, and even what you believe is possible for yourself.
76
The people around you are either expanding the game for you or holding you down to an old level.
77
Some people are energy multipliers.
78
They make you feel expansive, braver, more inspired, and more connected to your future.
79
takers.
80
You can literally feel them drain you or confuse you or they're competing with you or they look down on your growth.
81
They make you feel like you need to minimize yourself in order to keep the relationship comfortable.
82
If you have friends who make you feel this way, like it doesn't feel good to hang out with them, cut them out.
83
No love lost there, okay?
84
I promise you.
85
One of life's biggest upgrades is realizing that proximity matters.
86
Most people underestimate how much proximity changes challenge you to grow, the right mentors collapse timelines for you,
87
and the right partner literally changes your entire emotional landscape and can heal you.
88
So even though the game of life is a one -person journey, it's a multiplayer game and everyone affects each other by proximity and association.
89
And high -level, strategic, smart, girly players of the game of life understand that how you choose your associations would affect your entire life trajectory.
90
This is also similar to the as well.
91
The environment stat is about the spaces you're in and the rooms you get invited into.
92
This is your network and who you choose to surround yourself with.
93
So rather than obsessing over what you don't have, ask yourself, what stats can I realistically improve on in the next 90 days?
94
What do I want to focus on first?
95
Because small upgrades compound over time into completely different realities.
96
Here is where you're kind of grinding skill points and that takes repetition and perseverance.
97
You may not see the changes immediately, but you will in the long run.
98
The next thing is time and energy management.
99
What I have realized is that attention is one of the most valuable currencies in this game of life.
100
Whatever gets your attention repeatedly affects your ambition,
101
if your entire algorithm is rage bait, gossip, doom scrolling, and people hate watching each other all day, eventually your inner world starts looking like that too.
102
Your routines also affect your future.
103
Everything is literally programming you whether you realize it or not.
104
And so many people are careless with their energy.
105
They give emotional access to everyone.
106
Every opinion hurts their feelings.
107
Every criticism they take to heart.
108
Every random Smart girl players understand that not everything deserves access to their nervous system.
109
Criticism can either become emotional poison or momentum.
110
Resistance can either make you collapse or it can become fuel for you.
111
The difference is whether you know how to transmute that energy.
112
When someone doubts you, misunderstands you, underestimates you, you do not have to claim it as your personal truth.
113
You can convert that energy into clarity, discipline, and forward movement.
114
your stats, none of it really matters if you're climbing the wrong mountain.
115
And the next part is about quest selection and design.
116
One of the biggest traps is accidentally accepting quests you never really knew you were choosing.
117
A lot of people pursue careers, lifestyles, relationships, and definitions of success they inherited from their family or from fear, from being in survival mode.
118
And because of that, they wake up one day successful on paper but completely disconnected from themselves Miss Nadine over here,
119
precisely when I decided to leave my corporate job in tech when I was 27 years old.
120
It was really hard being a high achiever, having graduated from UC Berkeley, great job in tech, fun friends, charming boyfriend at the time.
121
Everything was perfect on paper.
122
And then I lit the whole thing on fire because none of it actually felt like me.
123
I felt like I was living this lie that I made up and it suffocated me.
124
Another thing that I truly believe test you and put obstacles in your way.
125
If certain paths feel like doors are just getting slammed shut in your face, sometimes that is a sign too.
126
Okay, I don't know how much you girls are into energetics, but I believe we all carry our own karmic stories and timelines.
127
Sometimes we run into people in situations where we want to attach ourselves to them.
128
But you're presented with so many opportunities to turn around, to choose yourself, to cut ties.
129
And it's like this alarm is going off, but you're still trying to force things to happen.
130
You force stores to open.
131
You attach yourself to a side quest that was never meant for you.
132
dealing and repaying some of the karmic debt that wasn't meant for you.
133
That's why I'm really picky about friendships and even more so with relationships because you share lives together.
134
Some quests give you status, but it drains your soul.
135
Some quests look impressive to others, but feel empty to live in.
136
Some quests make your family proud, make sense on paper, or look good online,
137
but privately you little nervous,
138
but a good kind of nervous.
139
It shouldn't be something that makes you feel disconnected from yourself.
140
The difference between a meaningful life and an empty one is usually whether the path actually belongs to you.
141
Meaningful quests usually contain at least a few elements like curiosity, passion, purpose, mastery.
142
Curiosity means it's genuinely something that interests you.
143
Passion means it gives you energy.
144
Purpose means it's meaningful beyond just means there is a personal challenge for you to grow, improve, and become better over time.
145
If your current path contains none of those things, you might not actually be building a life you love or playing the right game.
146
I want to talk about something I think games help people understand more, and it's that failure is expected.
147
You need to see failure as a stepping stone to leveling up.
148
No one rage quits a game because they lost one time.
149
Nobody assumes they're not meant to play because they didn't beat the final boss on the first try.
150
Failure is part of the learning process.
151
You lose, you adjust, you try again, you learn a new strategy and get better and eventually move on to the next level.
152
But in real life, we like to interpret failure as an identity crisis.
153
We fail once and suddenly decide we're not talented, we're not smart enough, not ready or we're not meant for it.
154
We deny ourselves before even allowing ourselves to really learn.
155
Okay, embarrassment has probably destroyed more dreams than lack of talent ever will.
156
It is so crazy to me how many people delay their entire lives
157
because they're too scared to look stupid or too worried about being judged, even though all of that is temporary.
158
But your life changes the moment embarrassment stops being an emotional crutch for you and your desire for more overcomes that.
159
It is also a map that shows you what you need to learn next.
160
And I think people don't realize that.
161
These are the clues that life leaves you.
162
But because you interpret failure in a way that's non -constructive, you don't always see the path forward.
163
If I'm using myself as an example, when I first started posting on social media, no likes, no views for like months.
164
OK, I could have taken it as a sign that it wasn't for me, that I didn't have the type of personality to grow.
165
But instead, I told myself I needed to learn more about how social media and digital marketing works.
166
I needed to learn more about human psychology and how people think and what people like to consume.
167
That created my personal curriculum.
168
level up.
169
The last tip I have for you for playing this game of life is to avoid NPC mode
170
because no one wants to be an NPC where you stop consciously directing your life and start running entirely in automatic programming.
171
You wake up, scroll your phone, consume content, compare yourself, feel bad about it, react negatively, and then you ignore your emotions and then you repeat again.
172
And suddenly years go by, you're technically alive, but you're not choosing your life.
173
Babes, that is a very
174
And I think one of the hardest thing about the game of life is realizing
175
that a lot of the rules you were taught were never universal truths.
176
They were survival strategies or fear -based advice from people who played smaller games than the one you want to play.
177
Because if you grew up believing, play it safe.
178
Don't ask for too much.
179
Don't be unrealistic.
180
Just be grateful.
181
You end up building a life around limitations instead of possibilities.
182
The goal is to live intentionally so you can do your main quest
183
and your side quests and max out your skill level and meet really cool people and tell stories and share your knowledge.
184
- What?
185
Self -awareness is the ultimate cheat code because the moment you become aware of your patterns, you gain the power to change them.
186
You can't change a game when you don't know what you're playing.
187
But once you see the mechanics, once you see the loops, once you see the programming, you can finally start making different choices.
188
At the end of the day, life is going to keep moving whether you learn the rules or not.
189
Time will pass.
190
Your habits will compound.
191
Your environment will shape you. will build your future.
192
And the question is, are you going to play consciously
193
or spend your whole life accidentally becoming someone you never meant to be?
194
So maybe this week, ask yourself, what game am I actually playing right now?
195
And am I consciously designing my character or becoming one that was designed for me?
196
That's all the cake I have for you today.
197
Thank you so much for watching until the end.
198
I appreciate it so much.
