1
Oh, hey, you guys.
2
Oh, hey.
3
Hey, listen.
4
Let me ask you.
5
Do you believe in soulmates?
6
Oh, yes, I do.
7
I do.
8
I believe that there is one perfect person out there for everyone.
9
And you know how you find them?
10
You stop looking for them.
11
That's why I've stopped looking for Russell Crowe.
12
They'll find me.
13
Uh -huh, uh -huh. And you?
14
No. I mean, I believe that certain people are more suited for each other, and I believe in falling in love, but soulmates, I don't think they exist.
15
Okay, good.
16
Why?
17
Well, last night, I met Monica's.
18
What?
19
Yeah, I had a day with this guy, and I swear to God, he is her other half.
20
Come on, don't be crazy.
21
You don't think there's somebody out there better suited for Monica than me, do you? But what's he like?
22
Well, he's tall.
23
Uh -huh.
24
He has brown hair.
25
Of course, of course.
26
A tall guy with hair similar to mine.
27
Oh, unknowable universe.
28
He works with food.
29
Oh, sure.
30
Older?
31
Obviously.
32
And he's British.
33
Oh, I was just gonna ask!
34
Yeah?
35
And he's so centered and mature and confident.
36
Oh, it's so sad.
37
They never had a chance to meet.
38
Luckily, the guy she settled for can't hear what you're talking about.
39
Oh, I'm so sorry.
40
And maybe I'm wrong.
41
But you know what?
42
I'm gonna go out with him again.
43
I'll find out more.
44
You believe that this guy is destined for somebody else and you're still gonna date him?
45
Well, he may not be my soulmate, but a girl's gotta eat.
46
Oh.
47
Oh.
48
Hi.
49
Hi.
50
Um, Chandler, Monica, this is Don.
51
Oh, hello.
52
Hello.
53
Nice to meet you.
54
How are you?
55
Follow me.
56
So, what have you guys been doing?
57
Well, we just had a terrible lunch at Adriatica.
58
What is with all the sun -dried tomatoes at that place?
59
I know.
60
What is this, 1985?
61
That's exactly what I said.
62
Phoebe, isn't that strange?
63
Not really.
64
What's wrong with sun -dried tomatoes?
65
On a barbecue chicken pizza?
66
No?
67
So, Dom, what other restaurants do you like?
68
Well, Octavio, 27 and 7.
69
Oh, there's this great little place, Alessandro's.
70
Oh, my God.
71
That's my restaurant.
72
I'm the chef there.
73
You're kidding me.
74
Your food is fantastic.
75
Wow, I really wanna talk to you about your menu.
76
I'm just gonna get some coffees first.
77
Anyone want anything?
78
Oh, I'd like a latte.
79
You know what?
80
If you're gonna talk about me, I'm gonna go with you.
81
What are you doing?
82
Nothing.
83
I swear to God, I didn't know you guys would be here.
84
And the good news is you don't even believe in soulmates, so...
85
I believe in tall, handsome strangers who hit on my wife.
86
They're just talking.
87
And you know what?
88
Just because I think they're soulmates doesn't mean anything's gonna happen.
89
Edie, good work.
90
Yeah?
91
I'm just afraid I'd love him.
92
Don't worry, we'll find you someone else.
93
So I've been slowly phasing out the wine importing and focusing more on the, um, cheese side of things.
94
Cheese, you say?
95
That's some pretty smelly work, huh, Don?
96
Excuse me?
97
Cheese, it's smelly.
98
You must smell a lot of the time, too.
99
Uh, not really.
100
But when it comes to cheese, I'm one of those people who thinks the smellier the better.
101
Me too.
102
Yeah, Chandler can't stand it.
103
He won't even allow me to have blue cheese in the house.
104
And you're still married to him?
105
I'd like to have Don and Phoebe over.
106
Wouldn't that be nice?
107
Sure, why don't you set it up?
108
I'll just be over here browsing through the personals. Are you okay?
109
You've been acting weird all afternoon.
110
Yeah, fine, fine.
111
Not perfect, but good enough.
112
cheese what is with you i'm sorry did you say cheese
113
all right what's going on phoebe thinks that you
114
and don are soulmates and i don't believe in
115
that kind of stuff but then you two totally get along
116
so look i won't stand in your way
117
if you want to run off with don
118
and live in a house of cheese taylor you don't believe in soulmates no
119
but i'm sure tomatoes does there a time
120
when the brightest minds in the world believed that the earth was flat
121
and up until like what 50 years ago you all thought
122
the atom was the smallest thing until you split it open
123
and this like whole mess of crap came out now are you telling me
124
that you are so unbelievably arrogant that you can't admit
125
that there's a teeny tiny possibility that you could be wrong about this?
126
There might be a teeny...
127
tiny possibility I can't believe you caved
128
what you just abandoned your whole belief system I mean before I didn't agree with you
129
but at least I respected you how are you gonna go
130
into work tomorrow oh how are you going to face the
131
other science guys how how are you I'm going to face yourself, uh... That was fun.
132
So who's hungry?
133
Hey!
134
Hey!
135
I was just gonna get something to eat.
136
Want something?
137
What you got?
138
Okay, let's see.
139
We got strained peas, strained carrots.
140
Ooh, strained plums.
141
We haven't tried that yet.
142
Goody!
143
Thanks.
144
Hey.
145
So, how is it living with Rachel again?
146
I mean, apart from the great food.
147
I'm fine, I'm fine.
148
It's just...
149
It's just weird what's happening with her and Ross.
150
You know, yesterday, he asked me to fix him up with somebody.
151
Oh, my God.
152
Rachel asked me if I knew anyone for her, too.
153
Why are they doing this? i don't know they're
154
so perfect for each other it's crazy you know what's crazy
155
these jars what is it like two bites in here i
156
just wish they'd realize they should be together i know i know and
157
when they move back in together i figure you know that's
158
where things are headed i know they should be a family they should get married
159
and have more children yes
160
and they should name one of their kid's joey hey well
161
i may not have kids someone's got to carry on the family name
162
you know what maybe once they start dating
163
and they see what's out there they'll realize how good they are for each other yeah
164
because it is slim pickings you know i had this date last night yuck
165
but we should probably keep it down she's still in the bedroom So what are we gonna do?
166
What, are we just gonna go ahead and set them up with people?
167
I know, that just pushes them further and further apart Yeah Oh, I know what we can do We could set Ross
168
and Rachel up on horrible dates So that they'll realize how good they are together Ooh, that's a great plan Yeah, you know what the best part of it is?
169
I get to do my plan laugh Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha,
170
ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha,
171
ha on the 5th, a special someone is going to give you a gift.
172
Oh, well, thank you in advance.
173
Oh, but the 12th brings a lover's spat.
174
You're going to make a joke about my special present.
175
Why would you do that?
176
Oh, wait, and on the 19th, a secret crush announces itself.
177
Hey, guys.
178
Hey!
179
Oh, my God, it's Joey Tribbiani of Mac and Cheese!
180
Oh, that's right.
181
It's your first day.
182
So are you psyched to fight fake crime with your robot sidekick?
183
Am I psyched?
184
The lead in my own TV series?
185
I've dreamed about this for years.
186
Why have I not been preparing?
187
No, Joey, you're gonna be great.
188
But I gotta act with the robot, Pheebs, and I don't know anything about technology.
189
I can't even use Chandler's computer to find porn.
190
And that's only because it's right there when you turn it on.
191
I think our lover's spat will start a little early this month.
192
I'll be waiting.
193
Oh, Miss, you're so threatened by me.
194
Oh, I'm threatened by you?
195
Yeah, yeah.
196
Okay, I thought that's the big...
197
That's it, get in here.
198
Come on.
199
My God, you guys.
200
I don't believe you.
201
There are children coming into the world in this very building, and your negative fighting noises are not the first thing they should be hearing.
202
So just stop all the yelling.
203
Just stop it.
204
Yes, Susan.
205
Don't make me do this again.
206
I don't like my voice like this.
207
Okay, who wants to hear something ironic?
208
No!
209
Come on!
210
Help!
211
I'm having a baby in the air.
212
Hello!
213
Help!
214
Okay, everyone stand back.
215
Al.
216
What are you going to do?
217
Suck the door open?
218
Help!
219
Help!
220
Help!
221
And they found their bodies the very next day, and they found their bodies the very next day,
222
and they found their bodies the very next day.
223
You know, my son is being born, and I should be in there.
224
You know, instead I'm stuck in a closet with you.
225
The woman I love is having a baby today.
226
I've been waiting for this just as much as you have.
227
No, no, no. Believe me, no one has been waiting for this as much as I have, okay?
228
And you know what the funny thing is?
229
When this day is over, you get to go home with the baby, okay?
230
Where does that leave me?
231
You get to be the baby's father.
232
Everyone knows who you are, and who am I?
233
There's Father's Day, there's Mother's Day.
234
There's no lesbian lover day.
235
Every day is lesbian lover day.
236
This is so great.
237
You want to explain that?
238
I mean, well, because when I was growing up, you know, my dad left and my mother died and my stepfather went to jail,
239
so I barely had enough pieces of parents to make one whole one.
240
And here's this little baby who has, like, three whole parents who care about it so much that they're fighting over who gets to love it the most,
241
and it's not even born yet it's just it's just the luckiest baby in the whole world
242
i'm sorry you were fighting i'm hospital worker ben it's ben to the rescue
243
ben you ready yeah all right give me your foot okay okay on three ben one two three Come on, Ben.
244
Okay.
245
That's it, Ben.
246
Okay.
247
Okay.
248
What do you see?
249
Well, Susan, I see what appears to be a dark vet.
250
Wait.
251
Yes, it is, in fact, a dark vet.
252
Babes, it's open.
253
It's open.
254
Wait.
255
You forgot your legs.
256
Hey, guys.
257
Joey, come here.
258
Come here.
259
What?
260
What?
261
Phoebe just found out about Monica and Chandler.
262
You mean how they're friends and nothing more?
263
No. No, Joey, she knows.
264
We were at Ugly Naked Guy's apartment, and we saw them doing it through the window.
265
Actually, we saw them doing it up against the window.
266
Okay, so now they know you know, and they don't know that Rachel knows?
267
Yes, but you know what?
268
It doesn't matter who knows what.
269
Now enough of us know that we can just tell them we know.
270
Oh, now all the lying and the secrets will finally be over.
271
Or we could not tell them we know and have a little son of our own.
272
Hello.
273
Oh, yeah.
274
Hey, hold on a second.
275
She's right here.
276
Hey, it's Chandler.
277
Oh?
278
Hello, you.
279
Hello, Phoebe.
280
I've been thinking about you all day.
281
Huh?
282
Well, you know that thing you said before i'd be lying
283
if i said i wasn't intrigued really yeah listen joey's not going to be here tonight
284
so why don't you come over and i'll let you uh feel my bicep or maybe more
285
i'll have to get back to you on
286
that okay bye oh my god he wants me to come over and feel his bicep and more Are you kidding?
287
Oh, I cannot believe he would do that to Moni...
288
Joey, do they know that we know?
289
No. Joey?
290
They know you know.
291
Oh, I knew it!
292
Oh, I cannot believe those two.
293
They thought that they could mess with us?
294
They're trying to mess with us?
295
They don't know that we know they know we know.
296
And, Joey, you can't say anything.
297
Couldn't if I wanted to.
298
Okay, so when you're done with your tea, I'll look at the leaves and tell you your fortune.
299
I didn't know you read tea leaves.
300
Oh, yeah, I've done it for years.
301
I actually stopped because I was so accurate.
302
You know, and, you know, one of the great joys of life is its wondrous unpredictability.
303
you know and also t tends to give me the trots okay i'm done read mine okay
304
ooh i see a ladder which can mean either a promotion or a violent death
305
i'm the head chef i can't get promoted who's next
306
okay i'm done do mine okay um oh
307
okay i see a circle oh oh
308
which can either mean you're having a baby
309
or you're gonna make a scientific discovery well i have been
310
spending a lot of time in the lab what does yours
311
say thieves um wow all right wow yay oh i'm gonna meet a guy
312
and really soon and he's gonna be the man of my dreams.
313
Probably not the guy I had a dream about last night.
314
Oh, wait a second, you guys.
315
For the last couple weeks, I haven't seen that guy everywhere I go.
316
We take the same bus, we go to the same bookstore, same dry cleaner.
317
Maybe he's the tea guy.
318
Phoebe, did you see that?
319
He totally checked you out and he is
320
so cute mine is a picture of the village people what does that mean
321
hello hey where the hell have you been hey i spent
322

333
when did it end i am serious i mean we're we're
334
all over each other all the time okay well you know where you are better than I do.
335
I was just curious.
336
Why don't you just calm down, Phoebe, all right?
337
Why don't you just get all your facts before you run around telling everybody that, you know, you're the only hot couple?
338
God, I woke the beast.
339
I was wrong, obviously.
340
I just, I misspoke.
341
It's okay.
342
It is okay.
343
I mean, as long as you know that Chandler and I are also very hot and fiery.
344
I mean, just as hot as you.
345
I mean, our flame, whoo, it is on fire.
346
Hey, Monica, here's your broom back.
347
You are so cute.
348
Hey, so, uh, did everything go okay with the annulment?
349
Oh, yeah, no problems.
350
It's all taken care of.
351
Ross, thank you.
352
Oh.
353
Hey, do you guys want to go see a movie?
354
Oh, yeah, why not?
355
I'm gonna get my sweater.
356

363
What timing, my God, huh?
364
There you go.
365
There you go.
366
We're actually just gonna walk because it's right up there at the Angelica.
367
Oh, the Angelica, go, go!
368
You didn't get the annulment?
369
I know.
370
Ross?
371
Well, I tried, but when I got to my lawyer's office, all I could hear was, three divorces, three divorces.
372
Look, I just don't want my tombstone to read Ross Geller, three divorces.
373
Don't be worried about that.
374
Your tombstone can say whatever you want it to say.
375
It can say, Ross Geller, good at marriage.
376
You know?
377
Mine's gonna say, Phoebe Buffay, buried alive.
378
All I know is I can't have another failed marriage.
379
So, okay, what, you're gonna be married to a girl who doesn't even know about it?
380
A woman, sorry.
381
Well, okay, so I don't have it all worked out quite yet.
382
Just don't say anything to Rachel, please.
383
Rachel is one of my closest friends.
384
Although, being the only one that knows about this does make me feel special.
385
Okay.
386
Okay, stop, stop, stop!
387
Phoebe!
388
Hey, Rach!
389
What was that?
390
Sorry, mix -up.
391
Hey, how was the movie?
392
I haven't seen it yet.
393
Well, then you better hurry.
394
The Angelica, go!
395
Okay, bye.
396
Oh, no. So, did you get the annulment?
397
I couldn't.
398
I knew it, because you love Rachel.
399
It's not that, okay?
400
Annulments are more complicated than I...
401
Yeah, complicated because of the love.
402
I do not love Rachel.
403
I'm going to tell her right now about the whole thing so we can get this marriage annulled as fast as possible.
404
Okay?
405
Would I do that if I loved her?
406
I've never been more convinced of your love for her.
407
I do not have feelings for Rachel, okay?
408
Oh, what's wrong?
409
Monica and Chandler are really moving in here and I have to move out, and everything is changing.
410
Oh, my...
411
Oh, come here.
412
Come here.
413
It's okay.
414
Oh, everything's gonna be okay.
415
Thank you. Of course.
416
Hey, Phoebe.
417
Fatty.
418
What?
419
Hey, Chandler, why so fancy?
420
Well, I got a job interview.
421
It's kind of a big deal, too.
422
It's a lot more money, and I'd be doing data reconfiguration and statistical factoring.
423
Wait, I think I know someone who does that.
424
Me?
425
I do that.
426
So, seriously, do I look okay?
427
I'm a little nervous.
428
Oh, yeah, you really, you look great.
429
You know, just don't get your help, sir.
430
Why not?
431
Well, the interview.
432
What about it?
433
You know, you don't make a very good first impression.
434
What?
435
Oh, you don't know. Are you serious?
436
Yes, I mean, when I first met you, You were like, blah, blah, blah, blah.
437
I was like, shh.
438
Huh.
439
What is it that I do?
440
Well, it's just like you're trying too hard, always making jokes, you know?
441
You just, you come off a little needy.
442
I'm sorry, Pheebs.
443
I guess I'm just really sad that I'm leaving.
444
I'm gonna miss you so much.
445
Well, this doesn't have to be so sad, though, you know?
446
Maybe instead of just thinking about how much you're gonna miss each other, you should, like, think about some of the things that you're not gonna miss.
447
I don't think there's anything.

  • "Stir the pot": Expresión informal que significa causar controversia o mezclar situaciones.
  • "Centered and mature": Colocación para describir a alguien equilibrado y maduro.

Presta atención a frases como "Oh, come on, don't be crazy" o "Well, he may not be my soulmate", que tienen una cadencia característica.
