Zakaton Sinkhole Incident On April 6, 1994, diving legend Shek Exley, the first person in the world to log over 100 cave dives,

His goal was to dive through the Zacaton sinkhole in Mexico, one of the deepest water-filled sinkholes in the world, plunging over 1,000 feet.
