Pratique du Shadowing: Beach Gear That Will Blow Your Mind! - Apprendre l'anglais à l'oral avec la vidéo

1
In this video, I'm gonna show you some new beach gear and gadgets that will surely blow your mind.
2
Or, at least blow up this parrot.
3
Plus, I'll review this Mac Sports 2-in-1 lounger and beach cart, which is like a transformer for the beach.
4
Now, I used this beach table all last summer, and it served me well.
5
But recently, I've been looking for a beach table that's a little bit more.. more.
6
So I was pretty happy to get this Octable beach table so I could try it out and show it to you.
7
It's pretty easy to assemble.
8
Just take the base, which is this hollow PVC sand spike, and insert it into the sand at a depth of about 5 to 8 inches.
9
Unscrew the cap on top of the spike, place the table on top, and then screw the cap back on.
10
So it's nice and snug.
11
Now the Octable comes with 4 cups in two different sizes.
12
The larger is the same size as a deli container, and the smaller is the same size as a red Solo cup.
13
The blue cups are not designed to drink from, but you can use them to hold just about any small item you would bring to the beach.
14
There are also two slots on top for your cell phone, and two trays underneath to keep your phone out of the sun.
15
Now with gas prices being what they are, my friends can't afford to put their boats in the water this year.
16
But, I wanted to show you that the Octable has a fishing rod holder adapter that you can buy separately.
17
There's also a PVC stand for your backyard, or your deck, which does a good job supporting the table.
18
The Octable can be easily taken apart and fits nicely into this custom nylon bag.
19
Now I have noticed that the blue cups do tend to stick together sometimes.
20
So you may want to put the little cups in the bigger cups when you pack them up.
21
I like this beach table's fun, yet practical, well thought out design.
22
And I think it's a good value for $35.
23
Now the last time I blew up a beach ball, it took me over 4 minutes and it made me kinda dizzy.
24
To help prevent me from passing out, Micro Novelty sent me their Giga Pump 2.0.
25
This thing is tiny, and it weighs next to nothing.
26
It comes with five nozzle adapters and a small USB cable for charging.
27
To inflate a beach ball, just attach the most appropriate nozzle, insert it into the valve, tap the top twice, and let the Giga Pump do all the work.
28
To deflate a beach ball take the nozzle
29
and attach it to this end of the pump insert it back into the valve and tap twice.
30
Now it took just 45 seconds to inflate a 22 inch beach ball
31
and four and a half minutes to inflate this jumbo 42 inch beach ball.
32
Hey if you're finding this video helpful so far please hit that like button.
33
Now once I figured out the right nozzle configuration, the pump inflated my 45-inch wide parrot in just three and a half minutes.
34
Not bad for a little bitty air pump that weighs less than three ounces.
35
Oh, and get this, it also has a lantern on top with three settings.
36
Now if you're looking for a new way to stick your beach umbrella in the sand, say hello to the Gorilla Drilla, which I bought on Amazon for 80 bucks.
37
It is what it looks like, a small rechargeable power drill.
38
The 18-inch long UGGER bit attaches to the drill magnetically and you would use it as you would any cordless power drill.
39
But the best results, sweep away the soft surface sand with your foot
40
and then drill down two or three times until the drill bit is completely down into the sand right to the chuck.
41
The UGGER bit did fall off on me a few times as I tried to pull up the drill, but I managed to put it back on easily enough.
42
I think the Gorilla Drilla is a pretty good idea if you don't mind bringing an $80 power tool to the beach.
43
Now this beach grip looks like it could be some kind of a high-tech frisbee, but it's actually a very innovative beach umbrella anchor.
44
To install it, just fit the beach grip onto the beach umbrella pole about 8 inches from the end.
45
Then dig a shallow hole a few inches deep, lay the beach grip down so it's flat, and then cover it up with sand.
46
Connect the beach umbrella to the pole, and you're done.
47
Now I tested out the beach grip when the wind was blowing between 10 to 15 miles per hour.
48
The beach grip totally did its job, but the beach umbrella did have a rough time.
49
Now that's my wind test.
50
Now check out how Beach Grip tested their own beach umbrella anchor.
51
Now that's a wind test.
52
Not bad for a $20 beach umbrella anchor that can fit right in your pocket.
53
I want to mention real quick that the Beach Grip was designed
54
and developed in Europe and is made to secure thin beach umbrella poles that are up to an inch in diameter, which are more common on European beaches than they are in the US.
55
Now if you're looking to keep your beverage cold and from falling overboard when seas get rough, the Toadfish may be the 12 ounce can cooler for you.
56
It's the only can insulator on the market that I know of with a suction cup on the bottom.
57
And it has a removable rubber gasket to secure your beverage.
58
The Toadfish sticks to just about any flat smooth surface, which is cool, but I found that it doesn't work all the time.
59
When I tried to stick it to the boat a second time, it didn't work out so hot.
60
Luckily for me, I haven't cracked open my beverage yet and it floated.
61
Hey, as I fish out my $25 toadfish, make sure you're subscribed to my Beach Gear Guy channel so you don't miss out on my future Beach Gear adventures.
62
Now let's see how cold the toadfish will keep my beverage compared to my Yeti Rambler
63
and to a can with no insulator.
64
When I started the test, all three beverages were ice cold at around 37 degrees Fahrenheit.
65
After about an hour, the beverage without the insulator was about 72 degrees Fahrenheit.
66
The beverage in the Yeti was 54 degrees Fahrenheit, and the beverage in the Toadfish was around 56 degrees Fahrenheit, which is not much of a difference.
67
So if you're looking for a can insulator that will stick around, I would go with the Toadfish.
68
This Mack Sports Beach Transformer is both a foldable beach lounger and a beach wagon.
69
But is it any good at being either one of those things?
70
Now it comes with everything you need to assemble it, and it's pretty easy to put together.
71
To transform it into beach wagon mode, you'll want to raise up the handle and lock it, raise up the back like a tailgate, and then connect the mesh netting on top.
72
Now to properly test out this beach cart, I took everything I would typically haul with my real Wonder Wheeler beach cart and swapped it over, including the removable tote bag.
73
Yeah, I know, it doesn't look pretty, but I did manage to cram everything in.
74
Now it didn't take much effort to pull the Max Sports beach wagon over the lawn or over for terrain.
75
The wheels on the Rio Beach Cart are slightly wider, but I found it took the same amount of effort to
76
pull the Max Sports Beach Wagon over the soft sand as it did with the Rio Beach Cart.
77
It is a bit of a workout, but the wheels are wide enough so they don't disappear into the sand, which would be a bummer if they did.
78
And I do like the grip handle.
79
It didn't hurt my hand after a long haul.
80
My biggest complaint is that the support bar on the bottom can become a sand plow
81
when I pull it through the deep stuff, which can add some resistance.
82
Now once you find your favorite spot on the beach and take all your beach gear out, you can now transform the beach wagon into the beach lounge chair.
83
You do this by removing the mesh basket, unlocking and lowering the handle, dropping the tailgate, and attaching the head pillow.
84
Now right off the bat, I like the high backrest and the four adjustable back settings.
85
But compared to other beach chairs, I would say it's okay for overall comfort.
86
It's very, very firm.
87
For me, it's like sitting on a rigid half-folded sleeping cot.
88
And on top of all that, there's no beverage holder.
89
But hey, I think it's cool
90
that I was able to haul all of this gear to the beach with something I can kick back on.
91
And it's a lot more rugged than I thought it would be.
92
The MaxSports Lounger and Beach Wagon weighs about 21 pounds.
93
Here's how it fits in the trunk of a Toyota Camry
94
and here's how it looks in the back of my two-door Jeep Wrangler with the back seat folded up.
95
Now this may seem a little boring, but I'm gonna tell you, I never go to the beach with my gear without bringing a brush.
96
In the past, I just used plastic brushes that came with dust pans.
97
But this summer, I decided to splurge and bought the Aloha Sand Brush on Amazon for 20 bucks.
98
I'm really glad I bought it because the soft durable bristles get right in there
99
and brush all the sand off It's a great way to clean up your gear
100
and keep the sand where it belongs at the beach Hey, if you want to keep this beach party rolling watch this
101
beach gear review video to see what I think of my Yeti Cooler and this wikipo inflatable lounger and until next time.
102
I hope you take it easy at the beach
