but you are just so beyond exhausted that you just don't have the energy to do it.

I'm currently struggling with burnout right now and it has beaten me down.

I feel like I have lost the energy to do all the things I've enjoyed.

I've lost a lot of my zest for life

and I've been working really hard to get it back

but i know when you're at

that starting point of your burnout recovery journey it feels

so daunting so i wanted to give you a few really easy low energy hobbies

that you can focus on during this time

that are going to hopefully help you get this creative spark

and just remind you of these things that you really enjoy in life

because that is so important and that is one of the biggest things

that I've fallen in love with over the years about little things and ways that you can add joy into your life.

And let's go ahead and get into my top low energy hobbies for recovering from burnout.

First thing I'd like to highlight is that it is absolutely okay to use DIY kits or

or lean into things that are already pre-made and mostly done for you because this is the time

where you may not want to go out and paint a picture on your own or sew something from scratch.

This is a really great time for you to lean into these already pre-made type of kits.

So you could do a craft kit with something like this,

where it is a half stitch kit.

These kits come with everything you need already in it.

They come with instructions.

They're super easy and mindless.

So if you have a day where you just really can't get up off the couch,

but you want to do something other than scrolling,

these are great things to lean on.

I have a few others that I really enjoy like this one is an embroidery kit

and sometimes you want to try something a little bit new and fun so I have this punch needle kit.

I haven't started on it but I think

that this will be really new and exciting

because I feel like I do embroidery a lot already

but I don't I don't really do punch needling very often

and sometimes just trying something new really adds something to your life that you didn't even realize you were missing.

Brain games are another really great low energy hobby.

while I'm doing other more mindless tasks like eating dinner or watching a TV show before bed.

It's just kind of, it's just nice to sit down

and do something that makes you feel like you're actually solving something or putting a lot of energy into something,

even though this is something that is not a super high energy task in and of itself.

but your local Dollar Tree also has a ton of great and affordable brand games for you to try.

Coloring is one of the most accessible,

easy, low energy hobbies because it really is the action of slowing down,

reconnecting with your inner child,

and it's also very mindless, very fun, very silly.

I really urge you if you are gonna color to just sit down and color with no expectations.

Don't care about going out of the lines.

Don't care about your color,

your colors matching everything perfectly.

Don't care about adding those details and aesthetics because you want,

you want all of these hobbies to be low pressure, low energy.

It's just things for you to sit down and unwind and think about anything else because the reality is,

is if you're feeling burnt out,

you're probably burnt out from work things and need true rest.

And I love creativity.

I love a challenge.

But sometimes, sometimes we take hobbies a little too far

and make them extra challenging and end up making it this added pressure on ourselves.

We don't want any of these hobbies to be high pressure.

These are low stakes things for you to just sit down and enjoy.

I think these are all great starter creative hobbies for when you're feeling burnt out.

or in the presence of somebody you love and just talk things through while you were doing the things,
