Shadowing Practice: 30 FALL OUTFIT IDEAS 🍂 - Learn English Speaking with Video

1
Hello and welcome to a video that you read the title of, so let's jump right in.
2
To start off, here's one of my most worn outfits recently.
3
I am in love with these pants.
4
I love these pants more than I love my plants.
5
Except don't tell them that.
6
They would be very sad.
7
I think the fit of these pants is so good.
8
Although the one downside is one time I wore them on a date, and because there's so much pleating around the waist, When you sit down, there's like kind of a weird excess of fabric.
9
So I remember like the entire date, I was just kind of like fidgeting with my crotchal region
10
because I felt like it kind of looked like I had an erection.
11
Anyways, other than that, these pants are great.
12
If you, like me, are the TikTok algorithm's absolute little bitch, you've probably seen this trend of layering oversized sweaters with collared shirts.
13
I think the layered look is so cute, but if you want to avoid that kind of shifty sleeve within a sleeve feeling, sleeve-ception choose a short sleeve polo to layer underneath,
14
or I've even seen people just like cut the collar section off a thrifted button up
15
and wear it kind of like a necklace.
16
Or if you only have a long sleeve collared shirt, try pulling the sleeves out from underneath the sweatshirt to add a little detail.
17
Here I'm wearing a shirt dress, but you could also get the same look with any white button up and a mini skirt.
18
Here's another way I'm styling the same dress, with my stompin' on the patriarchy boots and an oversized coat to tie in the brown tones.
19
My super basic rule of fall dressing is, when in doubt, match your boots to your jacket.
20
The shades don't have to, like, match exactly, but generally, if you're wearing black boots, go for a black jacket, and warmer brown or tan tones, go for a brown jacket, and you'll look pretty put together without even having to think about it.
21
Men are out this season, but menswear is definitely in.
22
I am honestly so excited by fashion this season.
23
I have never seen cooler menswear silhouettes.
24
Look at the fucking drape on this blazer.
25
The sweater vest.
26
The power in these suits.
27
So for my attempt at a menswear inspired look, I picked up this vest, which is kind of like the sweater vest's older sister who works at an elite architectural firm
28
and secretly has always been the parents favorite, you know?
29
But really any vest or blazer that you already have in your wardrobe
30
or could pick up from the men's section in a thrift store is the perfect juxtaposition for a more girly
31
and flunked-bitty dress.
32
No surprise, a year later I am still on my corduroy overall bullshit.
33
These overalls are like what I would wear
34
if I were a cartoon character and I was like always drawn in the exact same outfit every single episode.
35
Here, I layered a turtleneck underneath to make it a little more fall appropriate.
36
And I've honestly been loving layering turtlenecks with like all types of things, with overalls, with strappy dresses, with tank tops, with corsets.
37
So you'll see more of that later in this video.
38
Thigh-high boots are one of my favorite parts of fall fashion.
39
They always make me feel kind of like a superhero.
40
If I did have a superpower, let's be honest, it would probably just be like finding good deals on Street Easy,
41
overthinking social situations, and surviving for years and years on a diet of 90% Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
42
Anyhow I like to balance out how hardcore
43
and kind of like tight-fitting these boots are with a more loose-fitting and romantic dress like this one.
44
Tall boots also look great with a blazer and even with skinny jeans.
45
I would be wearing skinny jeans here except I kind of
46
threw all of mine into the fires of Mordor back in 2018.
47
But anyways, I like how preppy this looks and it's giving me big like betting daddy's money on racing horses vibes.
48
I also love how tall boots look under midi dresses.
49
Something is just like really cool about the fact that the boots and the dress overlap.
50
I don't know why sometimes I can't explain fashion things but like I think it looks really cool.
51
Cool is apparently most of my vocabulary.
52
Here I'm layering a corset on top of the dress to cinch in my waist, and to give it this kind of like gothic renaissance fair vibe,
53
I look ready to be burned at the stake for absolutely no logical reason.
54
I also love how these boots look with a trench coat, and it's always nice to keep people guessing whether I'm gonna flash them
55
or whether I'm three small children stacked on top of each other.
56
For this next outfit, I'm getting my layer in action back on by layering a corset over a turtleneck
57
and then a ballerina skirt on top of that.
58
I really like how all the different fabrics
59
and the shades of white and the juxtaposition between the structured corset and flowy skirt all looks together.
60
I also threw on some chunky loafers to balance out the more girly
61
and delicate outfit and a blazer on top to tie it all together.
62
I owe my current obsession with corsets to the iconic 2010 masterpiece Easy A.
63
You know the scene where Emma Stone like angrily sews on a bunch of A's onto lingerie
64
and then shows up in school and aggressively flirts with everyone.
65
That is forever the energy I want to channel.
66
Hence this outfit.
67
I recently thrifted this 90s men's leather jacket
68
and I've been wearing it a lot and seeing a lot of similar styles pop up online.
69
So I thought I would show you a couple different outfits.
70
For this first outfit, I went for a kind of cowboy e-girl vibe.
71
I kept it simple with some black boots and jeans, but added little hot pink accents for a smidge of Y2K action.
72
Here's a more casual and cozy way I'd style this jacket, with some jeans, converse, and a hoodie I stole from my friend, but I'm secretly hoping that he forgets that I have it so that I can keep it.
73
I've definitely been seeing more oversized silhouettes like this that give me kind of like big NSYNC era big shirt, big pants energy, minus the frosted tips.
74
For my next outfit, I'm layering a turtleneck with my trusty Kin Possible pants.
75
I wore these pants so much that I ripped a hole in not one, but both butt cheeks.
76
So it took me like two months of procrastinating, but I finally repaired the buttholes and now she is back in business.
77
To finish off the look, I layered on this like random other top for a little texture.
78
I don't know, I thought it looked pretty cool.
79
And some Dr. Martens and my leather jacket.
80
To complete this 29 year old hipster boy who lives in Williamsburg
81
and doesn't own a bed frame but still somehow makes you feel bad about yourself, look.
82
Next, I'm just swapping out my black turtleneck for a white one and layering a silky cami on top.
83
I think it's really nice to have like that little silky detail, and it's a great way to make a new outfit out of tops you already own.
84
And here's the outfit styled for chillier fall weather with my suede jacket
85
and some lace boots to protect boys from my scandalous ankles.
86
Another trend I've seen coming back this fall is funky tights and socks.
87
I was super into tights in high school and college because they were just an affordable way to change up my outfit.
88
But tights were kind of ruined for me
89
when I was like 18 by pervy tights fetish men who commented on my videos, but recently have been resurrected for me by the glory of bisexual fashion girl TikTok.
90
In the wise words of Aisha Erotica, this outfit is for the girls and the gays and the bi's and that's it.
91
Growing up, I was obsessed with Alexa Chung's style, to the point that I like printed out photos of her
92
and made this mood board collage that I thought was like cool
93
and aesthetic but in retrospect looks like I'm a serial killer preparing to chop Alexa Chung into tiny bits.
94
Anyhow, what I always liked about her style is how she contrasted feminine floral dresses with more hardcore like leather jackets,
95
tights and boots, and patent leather shoes and always mixed different patterns together, so that's what I tried to channel in this outfit.
96
I wore this plaid dress with t-shirts layered underneath all summer long, so to transition it into fall, I'm just layering an oversized button-up instead.
97
And I actually kind of like how the shirt tails peek out the bottom of the dress.
98
And lastly, in my funky tights and socks section, I paired an orange velvet skirt with some orange socks and a pink purse for a kind of 70s-inspired color scheme.
99
Even though it's a little controversial, I've always loved the look of socks and heels, and it's a great way to keep wearing summery sandals into the colder months.
100
I tell myself while wearing a miniskirt, but you know what I mean.
101
During the fall and winter, I'm always looking for a little variety to change things up from wearing jeans over and over and over again,
102
so I'm always on the lookout for some funky corduroy or leather or patterned pants.
103
These pants are the fucking coolest, I think they definitely fit the and with some minimal sandals and a button-up,
104
they got me feeling like the chic 30-year-old interior designer I have always aspired to be.
105
To dress it down, I added a sweater vest on top for a more relaxed silhouette
106
and swapped out my heels for my trusty converse.
107
And of course, you can never go wrong with balancing out statement pants with a simple white top and white shoes.
108
I've been looking for the perfect leather pants for like two years now and I finally found them.
109
These are faux leather and they look and feel just like real leather and they fit so well.
110
I paired them with a strappy top and some strappy sandals for a chic New York blogger look.
111
I also think this outfit looks great with a blazer on top.
112
Something about the combination of like a structured menswear silhouette and leather looks so put together to me.
113
And yeah, those are all the outfits I have for you guys.
114
For once, I am actually not sweaty after filming one of these videos, which is a fucking miracle.
115
Shout out to the East Coast for actually having seasons.
116
I hope this was somewhat helpful, and thank you for watching.
117
Bye!
