1
Hello, come in please.
2
Thank you very much.
3
All right, may I have your full name?
4
My name is Sogol Bakhtiari.
5
All right, thanks Sogol.
6
Can I take a look at your passport?
7
Of course, here you are.
8
Do you like shopping and why?
9
I think I do like shopping quite a lot.
10
Some people might call me a shopaholic.
11
I think most women are like me.
12
We tend to buy impulsively.
13
We're impulsive buyers.
14
This means that sometimes we buy things that we really don't need,
15
but we enjoy doing that.
16
All right.
17
Thanks.
18
What time do you do the shopping?
19
Well, as I work from 8 o'clock till 5 o'clock in the afternoon,
20
I tend to do my shopping on the way back home or during the weekends.
21
If I need something urgently,
22
I might even take my lunch break
23
and quickly go to the place I need to go and buy the thing I need.
24
Okay, so, well, do you ever shop on the internet?
25
I don't think I would like to.
26
I never have.
27
And for me, shopping needs to be a personal experience.
28
I like to see what I am choosing and about to buy.
29
Seeing a photograph, I don't think, does the same thing.
30
It's not the same experience.
31
Thanks.
32
Let's move on to topic of clothing.
33
What type of clothes do you like to wear?
34
I like comfortable clothes, something that's easy to be in for the whole day.
35
Okay, and what kind of clothes do people in your country usually wear?
36
Well, that depends on their age and also it depends on their job sometimes even even.
37
But I think you'll find in Tehran where younger people like to wear trendy clothes.
38
They like wearing jeans and colourful coats and t-shirts.
39
Yes, I think the younger people enjoy younger fashion like everywhere in the world.
40
They prefer to dress in a sporty manner,
41
But of course, for formal occasions,
42
the men will put on a very nice suit and the ladies will wear an evening dress.
43
All right.
44
Do you think people behave differently in different kinds of clothes?
45
I think they probably do.
46
If you wear something smart and formal,
47
I think you subconsciously feel that you're supposed to behave very dignified,
48
maybe, and you might even feel important.
49
But if you're wearing something comfortable and sporty and everyday,
50
you'll probably behave more casual as well,
51
and you'll probably be more approachable at the same time.
52
all right thanks now let's move on to the topic card
53
um i would like you to describe one of the shopping centers you often go to
54
so you have to talk about the topic for about two minutes
55
and you have one minute to think about a topic here is a paper
56
and a pencil to write down whatever you wish and then you may start thank you

Klanken die Nederlandstaligen lastig vinden:

  • Stemhebbende eindmedeklinker — /b/, /d/, /g/, /z/, /v/ niet verscherpen: behave /bɪˈheɪv/, depend /dɪˈpɛnd/, dignified /ˈdɪɡnɪfaɪd/, impulsive /ɪmˈpʌlsɪv/, jeans /d͡ʒiːnz/
