that I did during my push to Radiant.

video, I'm using the newest keyboard from Iconix, and it's one of the cleanest-looking holofax keyboards I've tried.

For transparency, Iconix sponsors this video, but they have no influence on my opinions on the keyboard.

This is the Iconix EV63, and the best part of this keyboard is the build quality.

And it is genuinely impressive what they offer being $70 cheaper compared to the Wooding 60HEV2 with aluminum case.

The material is all aluminum, weighing around 1.2kg.

For reference, the Wooding 60HEV2 with aluminum case weighs 940g.

There are two color options that I think look the best, silver and black.

Silver has a clean icy white look and the black has a more stealthy vibe with some carbon fiber accents.

Both honestly look so good that I asked them to send me both to showcase.

The keycaps are frosted, semi-transparent, the legends are on the front side, and they diffuse the RGB nicely.

The The layout is 60%, very compact if you need a lot of extra mouse space, but it also includes arrow keys, replacing the keys most people barely use.

To me, this is a much better trait since I use arrow keys all the time for editing.

However, the EV63 is still a Tremont keyboard, so the typing feel is firm.

If you're used to Tremont keyboard, it shouldn't be a deal breaker, but if you prefer a soft, bouncy typing feel, this one doesn't have it.

There are two switch options you can choose, the Magnetic X Pro and the Magnetic X Ultra.

Both are very smooth switches and have very minimal wobble.

To me, the Ultra sound a bit better, but they cost $20 more.

I think the sound is good, not like 10 out of 10, the best sounding I've had, but still a solid 7.5 out of 10, better than many Hall of Act boards I've tried.

Now for performance, I'm not gonna talk much as with every Hall of Act board I've tried, they all perform good and this one included.

No issue at all when I use the keyboard.

If you care about raw data, the EV63 has a solid latency result at 1.34 milliseconds,

but I wanna emphasize that any difference under 2 milliseconds shouldn't affect your decision buying a keyboard, cause realistically you're not able to tell the difference.

The web-based software is pretty nice, easy to adjust actuation, rapid trigger, lighting, and other magnetic switch features you want.

Just no gamepad features yet.

No doubt, this is the best gaming keyboard Iconics has made so far.

Solid build quality and clean aesthetic, especially at $170 with ongoing discount, it is priced very competitively.

In terms of build quality alone, it does feel more premium than the wooden 60HG V2 while still being $70 cheaper.

The one thing that would make this keyboard an even more appealing offer to me is

if it had a softer typing feel.

But every other aspect of this keyboard is well delivered for the price.
