1
How do you feel rich,
2
abundant, always feel like there's infinite resources when you actually don't have that in your bank account right now?
3
We're going to be diving into that in today's episode of Dear Jamie,
4
where we're going to be talking about all of the ways to start feeling a little bit more abundant,
5
especially around paying bills.
6
And I'm even going to be giving you a little secret sauce
7
that I only give to my clients to really allow for affirmations to hit just a bit different.
8
So let's go babies.
9
Dear Jamie, how can I believe that money is an infinite supply when the bank account has a limit?
10
How do I tell the nervous system everything is fine when I've reached the limit and there are bills to pay?
11
I love this question so much.
12
And I'm going to first start with the most important reframe,
13
which is instead of thinking that there's just infinite money available,
14
I want you to remember that you have infinite ways
15
that you can generate abundance and that everything is always available to you
16
and maybe not in the ways that we kind of generally expect them to be.
17
The one thing
18
that I want you to kind of understand from like maybe more of like a neuroscience perspective is the fact
19
that your brain, the prefrontal cortex,
20
is kind of responsible for more of like the immediate decision making
21
and the process of like figuring out how things work, right?
22
That part of the mind is trying to conceptualize something that can kind of sometimes be partially strategic and also metaphysical.
23
And when you think about that part of the brain trying to figure out the how,
24
it needs something smaller to grasp onto if it's creating this cognitive dissonance,
25
which is essentially right now you have this external experience of I'm paying my bills,
26
There's a limit to what I have currently in the 3D in this bank account.
27
However, it's trying to conceptualize this thing of like,
28
what do you mean there's infinite money everywhere, but it's not here?
29
And how do I get it?
30
And immediately the second, and this is for anything,
31
when we set a goal,
32
when we're thinking there's infinite resources and our brain doesn't immediately believe that.
33
And how we want to actually bring this back to a place where it is believable for you
34
is being able to think about two things.
35
So the first thing that I'm going to actually give you is more of the metaphysical.
36
And this is the process of understanding that money is a neutral tool
37
and it is as abundant as the air that you breathe,
38
the grass that is outside,
39
the people that are in the city.
40
There's so much available.
41
There's so much abundance available.
42
And when we segment money as this tool,
43
as something that is limited or something that you have to sacrifice parts of yourself for or work really,
44
really, really, really, really hard for,
45
then a lot of times what we end up thinking about
46
is how much work is it going to take for me
47
to get there versus let me just play with the idea that it's no separate from the air that I breathe.
48
And I want you to think about it this way.
49
If there are unlimited resources available,
50
let's just say from the air that you breathe,
51
I want you to just take a moment to just kind of breathe, keep breathing.
52
See how you can just keep going.
53
Like there's so much, right?
54
But a lot of times we're not thinking about,
55
oh my gosh, is there enough air?
56
Is there, there just is.
57
And it's something that is not something we have to kind of conceptually figure out
58
but with resources like money it's a little bit different
59
because it is almost this essence of a byproduct of your
60
power of your action taking of your beliefs of what you believe is possible for you
61
and it is abundant in nature and
62
if we think about it in the same way as air
63
and love and time and all of these you know resources
64
that we have available to us we can kind of see it as this thing
65
that is not the destination but more of a it gets to be here
66
and available to me because i am well favored i believe
67
that i am always taken care of i believe
68
that i'm well resourced i believe that things are working out in my favor
69
and when you just have that one baseline operating belief of like it's always working out for me
70
like it's always going to make itself available to me,
71
then there is a sense of openness and availability in your energy field for that.
72
It's so interesting that we're actually having this conversation now because I was just having this conversation with my seven-year-old yesterday.
73
They had a book next to me and they were making comics
74
and there was this like funny thing that they had heard about paying bills and that it was like stressful or something.
75
So they were making this comic about all the bills they had to pay
76
and then they showed me and I kind of giggled and I go,
77
you know, what's really funny about bills because they were making it seem like it was a stressful thing.
78
And I am always very cognizant of recognizing that the words that I say have a direct impact on my children.
79
They have a direct impact on what they believe is possible for them or what they believe about the world.
80
And that's one thing that you get to imprint on people.
81
So I had said, you know,
82
what's really cool about paying bills?
83
And I'm like, what?
84
And I go, look at that light over there.
85
We have lights.
86
I go, look, you know,
87
see how the, how, how we have a hot water,
88
how we just took a nice hot shower.
89
That was from paying our bills.
90
I go, look at that,
91
look at that fridge or look at the,
92
look at the, the food,
93
look at the, look at the home we get to live in.
94
Look at all of the resources.
95
Like it's because we got to pay that.
96
And this is what we're given in exchange.
97
And that's something that I have always been very cognizant of is the awareness that there is never a loss,
98
that it's never a sacrifice,
99
that there's never something that's being taken from me,
100
that I have the ability to pay my cell phone bill and get to talk to my mom on FaceTime.
101
I get to talk to people all over the world.
102
I get to run my business from my phone.
103
I love that I have hot water.
104
I love that I have electricity.
105
I love that I have a home.
106
I love that I have these things.
107
I love paying my bills because I love those things.
108
I love being able to have access to those things.
109
And I'm very, very grateful for that.
110
I love being able to have a car.
111
I love being able to just,
112
I love to be able to have insurance.
113
I like to be able to have these things.
114
And it just is this reframe of,
115
yes, we get to pay bills,
116
but how can you soften that in your energy field?
117
How can you make yourself so incredibly grateful for the things that we have been told are hard?
118
I also want to mention that there is a very real essence to paying bills as well,
119
especially when you feel that resources are limited.
120
I spent a very, very large part of my life having a very difficult time paying bills
121
and having a very difficult time making sure that there was enough.
122
And I remember my energy around it.
123
I remember my energy growing up around it,
124
the stories I was told around it.
125
And I remember not realizing that that I could change,
126
that I could make this easier for myself,
127
even if that felt like there was a limited amount of resources at that moment,
128
that I could change how I view it.
129
And when I change how I feel things,
130
then there's a possibility that opens up.
131
It's not this concrete thing that is,
132
it's always going to be harder,
133
always has to be this way.
134
The second I can change my perspective on one thing,
135
I can change how I believe,
136
I can change how I see things,
137
I can change how I act,
138
and how I take action.
139
And that in itself had changed my entire life was just the opening of possibility of how can I see this different?
140
How can I make this easier for myself?
141
Because when we see it different, we feel different.
142
When we feel different, we act different.
143
And that really is that.
144
Now, one thing from a strategic standpoint that I want you to remember,
145
because you're most likely experiencing the cognitive dissonance of this infinite abundance with the kind of 3d
146
that you're navigating right now i want you to consider kind
147
of zooming it back in instead of thinking about infinite resources you can think about being able to understand
148
that you are the wealth source it's always coming from you now the reason i say this is
149
because even if you're working a nine to five you only get paid
150
because of you even when you're in your business you get paid
151
because of you it's always coming from you
152
and there's nothing outside of yourself that's going going to stop you from what can come in
153
and that you are always an infinite resource.
154
You always have infinite capacity to receive and to create.
155
And that's the gift of being a human is the ability to create.
156
And we all have access to that.
157
What is one small step that you can take that would bring more abundance?
158
What is one small step that you can take strategically that might be different?
159
Is there something that you've always wanted to do?
160
Is there something you've always wanted to launch or create or play with?
161
Or were there conversations you wanted to have with certain people?
162
Were there things that you really truly have maybe been putting on the back burner
163
that you could actually step forward and do?
164
Because if you are always in the driver's seat of your abundance,
165
you are always increasingly opening your capacity to receive and there's infinite resources available.
166
is really being able to say,
167
what is one thing I can do to be able to feel good,
168
to create, to have fun,
169
to play, and to then be able to receive the resources that are available.
170
So just to kind of recap this,
171
one thing that I want you to remember is that money is a tool,
172
is a resource, and it is unlimited, just like air.
173
And we want to just think about it as abundance, right?
174
A lot of times, even when we use the word money,
175
there's memory tied to that word in itself.
176
There's limitation, there's stories attached to it.
177
And just thinking about the receivership aspect of this,
178
of if I can receive air,
179
water, that there's always opportunity available, then it's just abundance.
180
And if we could just think about it from that space,
181
it opens up our capacity to be like, okay.
182
Second thing I want you to think about is that anytime we're thinking about the bills,
183
what is it giving you in return?
184
Like the story that I told my youngest,
185
And I remember them even in looking at me,
186
they kind of like smile,
187
they're like, you know what, you're right.
188
Oh, and then they kind of went on a little hunt around all the things
189
that were bills that we got in exchange.
190
And just being able to have that reframe in itself will really truly change.
191
But having the openness to seeing it that way takes a willingness in itself,
192
a change in itself.
193
Because if we've always seen something a certain way,
194
we can always kind of find the reasons why it has to be a certain way.
195
And then in terms of strategic aspect,
196
what is one thing that you can do?
197
What is one small step that you can do to be able to receive what is always available to you?
198
And you don't have to have that answer now.
199
There's no rush.
200
There's no reason to race towards it.
201
Allow it to unfold.
202
And something that I'll kind of encourage you to do is something
203
that we actually talk about inside of my program Currency Academy,
204
which is ask formations.
205
And this is more of the process of asking things in a question versus affirming things,
206
because that's where a lot of cognitive dissonance actually comes from is affirming something that we don't have a reference point to.
207
For example, saying I'm a money magnet or all these things when maybe there's a situation where the 3D doesn't reflect that.
208
no reference point, which creates cognitive dissonance,
209
which creates a lot of frustration in the body.
210
And so one thing that I want you to do is like,
211
I want you to ask yourself,
212
how come things are starting to feel easy?
213
How come things are just working all the time?
214
How come all of these opportunities keep coming to me?
215
How come it just feels better?
216
How come all of the things that I've ever desired are just starting to flow my way?
217
How is it all happening?
218
And when we ask things in a question,
219
our brain then goes on a hunt because we're not affirming something.
220
We're not creating a reference point.
221
We're just getting curious.
222
And when we're curious, our brain goes on a hunt and we become so much more cognizant of it.
223
We become more aware of it.
224
And whatever we become aware of,
225
we actually get to then see and observe and choose and move towards.
226
And that's my suggestion for today.
227
And speaking of ask formations, I want to play.
228
I want to actually start creating a lot more flow and fun in this space for you.
229
So I want you to think about one thing that you really want to happen for you.
230
This could be an opportunity.
231
This could be clients coming.
232
This could be more revenue flow.
233
This could be your body feeling lighter, more joyful.
234
This could be you feeling like you have more clarity.
235
And I want you to just think about that for a second.
236
And instead of saying, I have so much clarity
237
or look at all of these clients that are coming on board or look at how much money I'm making,
238
or I'm making all of this money.
239
I want you to do it the other way and get curious.
240
So inside of the comment section,
241
what I want you to do is I want you to say whatever your goal is,
242
but how come this is happening?
243
So I'm going to give you an example of this.
244
Let's just say you would love to have five clients on board.
245
The ask information would be like,
246
how is it possible that five clients are already onboarding?
247
They're finding me.
248
How are all these people finding me?
249
How is all of this working in my favor?
250
How come my body feels so amazing?
251
How come I have so much clarity?
252
How come I feel so good?
253
How come I feel so confident all of a sudden?
254
I want you to comment below and ask formation of how come this is happening?
255
And just play with that for a second.
256
See how that feels in the body.
257
If something starts to kind of flow your way,
258
let me know because I can kind of,
259
I can kind of, I feel like we're getting towards the fact that it probably will.
260
Okay.
261
If you have questions on business growth,
262
success, mindset, nervous system, wealth flow,
263
all of the things, go ahead into the show notes.
264
You can submit your questions anonymously.
265
And hopefully your next question will be something I'll be answering on the next Dear Jamie.
266
Okay.
267
