1
So here's the thing.
Вот в чём дело.
2
I'm not saying that you're doing all of your hygiene wrong.
3
I'm just saying that you should listen to me
4
because I made some mistakes as a wee little babe on this earth and I don't want y'all to do the same.
5
We all want to look good, smell good, be good all the time.
6
But in a world of hygiene Olympics and 27 step routines, how can we get things down to the nitty-gritty to get
7
the girls the information for what they actually need to do to have good hygiene, not just to smell good.
8
I have a handful of tips from my girls and a lot of product recommendations that are budget friendly.
9
Also when I like do those types of intros I'll be forgetting to introduce myself.
10
Hey I'm Simone it's me.
11
Actually I have a clip in.
12
I don't want to have a clip in.
13
What?
14
Y'all need to see this hair now sister.
15
Hold on hold on.
16
Okay that's much better.
17
So tip number one.
18
You need to be regularly cleaning the things that touch your body.
19
Yes we're gonna talk about like the actual hygiene parts
20
and the cleaning yourself parts but what happens
21
when you then clean your body real good
22
and you put on the same t-shirt
23
that you've been sleeping in for the past three weeks you know what i'm saying like it's counterproductive
24
and stick with me it doesn't have to be
25
that complicated we are going to build
26
that habit into the rest of your routine
27
if you have watched any of the girls videos then you know
28
that they talk about changing your sheets your towels all of those things regularly to the average everyday working person
29
that can sound very overwhelming how i want you to think about it is integrate it into a routine
30
that you already have so for me i clean my home every single sunday now during
31
that clean is when i take the opportunity to switch out all of the things
32
that touch my body to keep me clean
33
and to keep me feeling good that all happens on sunday
34
so my bed gets stripped my towel
35
that i use for the week gets replaced my rags my african net sponge my exfoliating gloves like literally any
36
and here she goes do you have anything to say this is live journalism by the way we all know
37
that it's not a real video until debbie is here i'm
38
telling you as soon as she hears me talking here she comes every single time without fail
39
but i am not insane i do do my duvet every other week
40
because that is quite a bit of work but I noticed
41
that when I don't do it especially my sheets
42
because I lube myself up every single night before I go
43
to sleep my sheets will feel like it functionally it is
44
very important for all of these things to be clean
45
because your towels
46
that you're using to dry yourself off the things you use
47
to cleanse your body your sheets all of them harbor sweat bacteria all of those things
48
and that's okay because it's just you being a human being
49
but getting in the shower and washing your body with the same rag
50
that you've been used for the last two weeks girl
51
it's kind of reversing all the work
52
that you're trying to do by getting yourself clean
53
so that's the functional reason why we need to be changing these things out
54
and then the secondary reason is just fully
55
because it feels good no shade once you create the routine
56
of having fresh sheets fresh towels you will wonder how you ever not did
57
that don't think also that that means you need to have 25 pairs of sheets
58
and 30 different towels you really just need like two like
59
genuinely like you just need a set to replace the set that you are putting in the washing machine.
60
That's all.
61
Here she is.
62
You have to go.
63
You do have to go, unfortunately, because I cannot concentrate.
64
Attaching this habit to something that you already do will make it a part of your routine.
65
And starting off with a small habit will eventually turn it into a routine
66
and then eventually turn it into one of your non-negotiables.
67
You'll get there one day, but we all got to start somewhere
68
and you're somewhere it's just incorporating it into something
69
that you already do second tip i wish
70
that i prioritize my oral health so much more
71
when i was growing up i'm gonna be real honest with y'all put down your pitchforks
72
because this is just real life
73
when i was growing up i brushed my teeth once a
74
day i was always told to like brush my teeth
75
but there was never an importance placed on like flossing
76
and making sure you brush your teeth multiple times a day after different meals
77
that just wasn't a thing in my household thank god my
78
family like just does not have like bad teeth structurally
79
so it wasn't detrimental
80
that i wasn't taking the best care of my oral health however as i got older
81
and just saw the shape of my teeth i was not happy with it
82
so i knew that the second
83
that i got a little piece of money i was gonna get my teeth done
84
so i told myself if i'm gonna make this investment
85
which would be one of the biggest investments i have made for myself to date
86
and still is then i need to know i can steward it well
87
so i started flossing very regularly
88
and just as a side note justice for floss picks i love floss picks
89
and some people will like get up on their high horse
90
and be like floss picks aren't like real
91
and it's not good enough girls say that to the girls
92
that are disabled
93
and cannot physically hold a string of floss to floss their teeth should they not floss at all
94
because the floss pick isn't good enough like girl come on
95
you gotta meet people where they're at i have a floss
96
pick on me at all times i floss after every single
97
meal i have a water pick i have it all
98
but i started off the habit by just having something
99
that was convenient for me to start flossing once i got
100
that down i built up my routine slowly like then i got a water pick
101
and i said okay and then i was doing more research
102
and i said oh oil pulling is a thing then i
103
incorporated oil pulling then i started to look into like what mouthwashes are the best
104
and i'm explaining all this to y'all
105
because you don't have to do every single step at once
106
but for me the routine built over time because like i said, I was trying to show myself
107
that I would be able to take care of what would end up being close to a $10,000 investment.
108
So once I showed myself that I could steward the teeth that like I loved, God given, loved them, period, but didn't want them, you know, honey, I got my veneers and I was very,
109
very confident that I would be able to take care of them well.
110
And I do, I do everything that we just named.
111
And then the other thing
112
that I knew I was going to have to do once
113
I got my veneers done was to wear night guards every single night.
114
And you do that so that you're protecting like the enamel in your new teeth.
115
So again, building the habit before I ever got the thing, let me know that I was going to be able to do it nightly.
116
And I am so much to the point, like I cannot sleep without my night garden.
117
Like it doesn't feel good to not have my night garden.
118
Oral health is so important, of course, for the simple fact of like who wants to have bad breath, but also like your mouth affects so many other parts of your body health-wise.
119
So I just don't want to play around with that and don't feel the need to spend a million dollars doing it.
120
The toothbrush that I had, sister, it was electric, but it was like my mom got it for me from like the Benz store.
121
If you know what the Benz store is, you're a real one.
122
You know what I mean?
123
And after years, she watched me using it.
124
She was like, you need a new one.
125
So she actually was trying to send me a new one and they literally, I'm not playing with y'all, accidentally sent me the sponsor of today's video.
126
Like they sent me the toothbrush that is the sponsor of today's video.
127
At the time, I did not know that because this happened a while ago, but I do think that it is pretty serendipitous.
128
And with that being said, thank you to Suri for sponsoring this portion of today's video.
129
If you've never heard of Suri, they are an oral health brand that is on a mission to transform everyday essentials that are purposely designed for life.
130
Meaning their products are very aesthetic and you know your girl loves an aesthetic.
131
It looks beautiful on my countertop, yes, but moreover, I love the carrying case of it all.
132
And don't pay too much attention to my carrying case because it is a little beat up.
133
This has become my travel toothbrush because it keeps my toothbrush in a UV cleaning case.
134
Is that not insane?
135
So my toothbrush is sanitized when I'm ready to use it.
136
It is protected from rolling around in my travel bag
137
when i went to aruba miss mama's was with me keeping
138
my teeth clean every single day this girl also comes with a four week battery life
139
so even if i did not bring the case
140
which also has a charging component to it as well i
141
would have been fine i would have never had my toothbrush rolling around in my bag
142
but four weeks charge so if you want to just have sitting out on your counter
143
and not charging that's fine
144
because she'll be good for four full weeks as far as
145
the feeling of using it it is a sonic clean
146
but it is not aggressive at all it's one of the milder yet effective toothbrushes
147
that i have used in my day personally and i think
148
that a more pleasurable brushing experience does really genuinely help you
149
to want to pick up your toothbrush more at the beginning of the day
150
and at the end of the night because no one wants to use something
151
that feels abrasive and like it's hurting them not only are the brush heads plant-based
152
but they also offer a mail back program for them
153
so i feel like that's just a really thoughtful part of
154
the design on top of everything else suri was such a perfect sponsor for today's video
155
because it gets to the heart of what we're going to be talking about in
156
that your healthy habits do not have to complicate your life
157
because when the habit is more convenient it is much easier to stay consistent so
158
if you want to stay consistent with getting those pearly whites
159
clean then make sure you use my code to get 15 off of your first suri order
160
and thank you to suri for sponsoring this portion of today's video
161
and my pearly whites welcome back it's not welcome back to
162
y'all well y'all did just come from a commercial break however welcome back to me
163
because it is actually hours later when i am filming this
164
so if i look ever so slightly different don't mind
165
that anyways on to point number three to my younger viewers
166
or my girls that are still being shackled by the bonds of marketing
167
and misogyny your vagina does not need to smell like roses
168
or be bald in order for you to be clean
169
and yes i understand the technical term is vulva i get
170
that but i also think
171
that a part of you know being a woman choice feminism
172
is being able to do what you want to say what you want i have the intellectual understanding
173
that it is the word vulva but i choose to call it a vagina
174
sue me anyways the damage that summer's eve did to the girls will be studied
175
and somebody needs to go to jail to pay for their crimes not just them
176
but so many companies are making these washes for your vagina then rose scent
177
and lavender and vanilla like no like that's not what your vagina is supposed to smell like
178
and let's be clear your vagina has a smell
179
and it's supposed to have a smell i am all for you knowing what
180
that smell is because there's a difference between your natural scent
181
and when you have something going on such as an infection
182
and you need to be able to know and spot the difference
183
but you're not going to be able to know that
184
if you're always trying to make it smell like roses
185
because that's not what it's supposed to smell like
186
because it's an organ like would you expect your liver to smell like a rose like come on
187
and the lesson that took me a
188
while to like let settle in like I really had to
189
undo the misogyny with this one body hair does not equal odor
190
and this is something that is thrust upon women specifically
191
because women are not allowed to grow hair under underarms
192
because we do we stink but men can have enough hair to braid underneath theirs
193
and we don't make it a thing about their hygiene at all same thing men can have
194
so much hair around their privates and that's totally fine
195
and manly but as soon as a woman has it it's unkept
196
and she must smell bad
197
if you want to keep a 70s style bush down there i love
198
that for you me personally like it's a trim like it's just
199
that simple i just hit a point where in my 20s
200
i was like laying on the table yet again like getting the hair waxed from the bulb
201
and i was just like this is so unnecessarily painful
202
and i feel like i got angry on behalf of like all of my like ancestors
203
that came before me like why do we do this to ourselves
204
if getting wax genuinely makes you feel comfortable makes you feel better
205
or shaving or laser or what have you like genuinely makes you feel better that's one thing
206
but to all the girls they feel the pressure to keep doing it
207
because you feel like it's one unladylike
208
and two makes you dirty it is quite literally not true
209
and on top of
210
that stop shoving random stuff up your vagina to like make the smell neutral no random pearls
211
and douches and creams and and this and
212
that that's gonna make you wetter and slicker and hornier
213
and like it's just i'm just so tired of this part
214
that is ours that is so beautiful and so valuable and
215
so sacred and
216
so like perfect all on its own being policed all the
217
time no more no more okay it's not a hygiene thing
218
because i have talked to y'all about some of like i'm not a summer's eve girl
219
but i do really like the v8 essentials vaginal wash i use
220
that i I go over my booty crack with my glycolic acid slash witch hazel, run a little toner pad over my vaginal area,
221
not inside of my vaginal area.
222
That's something that I do for comfortability and I cannot recommend to y'all my chest because everybody has different sensitivities, but that's as simple as I keep it.
223
That's it.
224
It doesn't need to be all that.
225
And please, my sisters, free yourself from the shackles of feeling the need
226
to wax yourself bald and shove pearls and scented lubes up there to be appealing to what?
227
A man?
228
Like that's crazy.
229
No, no, no more.
230
Moving on to point number four, there is a difference between being actually clean and smelling good.
231
And I think you need to prioritize being clean.
232
Like I said at the beginning of this video, we live in the world of like the 27 step body care routine, the hygiene Olympics.
233
Like I hear it and do I have routines like that literally posted to this channel?
234
Yes.
235
That for me is about self-care more than it is about functionality.
236
what is functional for me is being clean
237
and getting clean on a daily basis period point blank i
238
know we see a lot of the girls using antibacterial soap as a first wash all over their body
239
and i think that can be very beneficial for some of the girls like
240
if you struggle with like body acne i think that
241
that can be really helpful to go in with one depending
242
on how sensitive you are like maybe once twice a week
243
see how you feel you know for me mine is my dr bronner's castile soap love it
244
and the peppermint scent i use that underneath my underarms
245
and in my booty crack anywhere
246
that is more prone to having like bacteria being there
247
and then next i go in with my dove beauty bar in just the sensitive scent with my exfoliating gloves
248
that is going to happen every single time i'm in the
249
shower the sole purpose of those two things is just to get me clean there is no negotiable
250
when i get in the shower those two things are going
251
to happen actually three i'm going to clean my vagina with my VH Essentials Feminine Wash.
252
Everything else is up to how I am feeling that day.
253
That first cleanse needs to be functional.
254
Leaving the shower smelling like vanilla is a plus, but it is not the reason that you should be getting in the shower
255
and it is not the thing that's going to make you actually clean.
256
Especially them underarms.
257
For my girls that are wearing aluminum deodorant, there is a certain amount of real cleaning and scrubbing
258
that you got to do in order to get that deodorant off your skin.
259
Because the point of it is to coat the skin.
260
I'm not going to explain it well, but coat the skin and make it so that your sweat is literally blocked.
261
And then a lot of these things claim to work for 72 hours.
262
So in order to form a seal like that, you're going to have to really work to scrub and get
263
that off of you and the salt air vanilla body wash it ain't cutting it mama
264
so prioritize being clean make that your go-to and your non-negotiable
265
and then we can pile on everything else
266
because the smell goods have not so much to do with hygiene
267
and more so to do with the feel-good parts
268
which is still very valid it's just not what you need
269
and this video is about what girls need speaking of underarms
270
and deodorant point number five sweat does not mean
271
that you are dirty mama i was telling y'all in the vlog
272
that i would have posted right before this
273
that i do not consider sweat to be like a bad
274
thing in fact like to go to the gym i wear a sweet sweat band like i want to sweat
275
because i'm not a big sweater and in the same way
276
that other women like enjoy having a period enjoy is probably like a drag
277
but like they don't mind their period
278
because it makes them feel like their body is working i feel the same way about sweat
279
because i'm at home on a daily basis like i sweat
280
super easily i'll be on my walking pad during a meeting
281
and i will sweat within like the first two minutes of being on there
282
because my pores are so open
283
because i don't use aluminum deodorant i always tell y'all
284
that like my form of deodorant is usually some type of astringent being a glycolic acid
285
or witch hazel and years ago
286
when i made the transition away from aluminum deodorant just for my own like personal choices
287
and for health reasons when i did
288
that i did a what did we call like a clarifying treatment i guess you could say on my underarms
289
because it's very hard to stop using aluminum deodorant
290
and then just start using natural deodorant a lot of people like get a rash under their underarms from doing
291
that that's what i was starting to experience so i went in with a the bentonite clay, the Indian healing clay mask, that and apple cider vinegar, like you would put on your face or on your hair and put it underneath my underarms.
292
And that served as like a reset.
293
And it, when I say cleared out all of the things from underneath these underarms, honey.
294
And after that, it was like, oh, this is what it feels like.
295
Cause I had been wearing deodorant that stopped me from sweating for years and years and years and years and years.
296
On top of that, I started taking chlorophyll regularly every single day
297
and chlorophyll will act like an internal deodorant i think after
298
years of taking chlorophyll to this day even though i don't take it anymore
299
and i'm about to start taking it again i really do think
300
that it has helped with like just my scent overall you can also run the glycolic acid
301
or the witch hazel whatever you choose underneath places
302
that are folds anywhere that's like dark
303
and can harbor moisture you want to make sure to remove that bacteria because sweat does not stink.
304
Your sweat coming into contact with the bacteria on your body is what causes body odor.
305
So if you take the time to get rid of that bacteria, then the chances of you actually smelling bad from the sweat drop dramatically.
306
I'm not playing with y'all.
307
BO is not really a thing for me.
308
Like no shade.
309
It is so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so, so rare.
310
It would have to be like a stress sweat thing where I'm like, oh my gosh, do I smell like something?
311
Like it's so rare for me at this point.
312
So be freed from the idea that sweating makes you disgusting.
313
I actually think that sweating, especially like when you're working out is very admirable.
314
It lets me know that you're putting in work, that you care about your body enough to like exert yourself.
315
So I love that for you.
316
I love that for us.
317
You know, as long as you are cleaning your skin, it'll just be like a glisten and a glow.
318
Speaking of things that can make you stinky, onto tip number six, The materials touching your body absolutely matter.
319
The first place that that matters the most to me is your underwear.
320
And I did not understand this at all growing up.
321
Like I had no concept for the fact
322
that like 100% cotton underwear is going to affect me and my scent differently than like a pair of lacy underwear would.
323
Synthetic fibers in your vagina just do not mesh very well
324
in fact like there is a specific pair of panties
325
that i have they're like a seamless material like spandexy i wear them for very specific clothing pieces
326
but i know that
327
when i put them on i at the end of the
328
day will have a coochie i will no longer have a properly cleaned vulva i will have a coochie
329
and that's just the fact of the matter that's
330
when it really was dawning on me of like materials really really really matter
331
and i stopped wearing my underwear so freaking tight like i used to be
332
so afraid of like being like granny panty i'm okay with
333
being a granny panty mama i am comfortable in it first
334
and foremost because i have to wear it like all day long
335
so god forbid a girl want to be comfortable in a full brief you know what i mean
336
and i wear fabrics that are breathable
337
because the suffocation of your vagina inside of these synthetic fabrics is what's going to cause the odor
338
that none of us are looking for not only am i looking out for fabrics
339
that i'm putting up against my vagina but
340
that also goes for my bed i really enjoy sleeping on
341
satin pillow cases i do need to start transitioning into 100 like non-synthetic fibers
342
because i know the ones
343
that i have in my bed right now it's like a synthetic blend
344
but even still the synthetic blend is much better than the other stuff
345
that i was using years before i'll tell you
346
that it not only feels better like sensorily to sleep on it is in fact just better for your skin
347
and for your hair and
348
while i'm at it we don't talk enough about the type
349
of jewelry i'll be letting touch your body i'm not telling you need to go out
350
and buy 100 gold cartier piece right now like i'm not telling you
351
that but for me i have very very sensitive skin
352
so growing up when i would just buy costume jewelry my ears would be on fire like crusting
353
and like bleeding fingers would be turned and green from the jewelry
354
that i'm putting on it is so unnecessary especially in this day
355
and age i only have right now two very expensive pieces on
356
but the rest of my jewelry is 100 stainless steel i forget the brand
357
that i got the rest of my rings from
358
but i will put it on screen it's quite popular the
359
rings are pretty affordable same thing with my pandora bracelet my bracelets
360
that i wear all the time are from amazon i have never taken them off
361
and they are just 100 sterling silver you know all of
362
them are affordable i will make sure to link them down below for you guys
363
because i am a jewelry girl down okay
364
if they're not going to be sterling silver then they at least need to be silver plated like bare minimum
365
and good quality your ears is cracking
366
and bleeding your coochie be smelling like a coochie your hair be frizzy
367
and it's not necessarily because you are not taking the time to take care of yourself
368
because you could be defeating all the work that you're doing on your hygiene just with the materials that are touching you.
369
So let's swap these out.
370
Easy peasy.
371
Speaking of the things that are touching your body that I want y'all to stop doing.
372
Tip number seven, y'all have to stop touching y'all's face.
373
Y'all have to.
374
And I know that this is going to really piss my skin pickers off, my pimple popping skin picking.
375
Just need to see it squoze out, girls.
376
I understand that I'm talking to a brick wall, but let me just say this.
377
If you are someone
378
that struggles with acne touching the thing popping the thing scraping
379
at the thing is very very antithetical to your journey especially speaking as black women we bruise
380
so much easier
381
and then we have dark spots to worry about after it's not necessarily like bruising that's not the word
382
that i'm looking for forgive me but it is
383
so much easier for us to develop hyperpigmentation after a breakout
384
me personally i just experienced a breakout on my forehead and it's all flattened However, I do have hyperpigmentation left behind from all of it
385
and i am not a skin picker period point blank all
386
it takes is for a bump to rise up on my skin
387
and i will probably have some form of hyperpigmentation left behind afterwards
388
but i will not be making that worse by picking especially especially especially
389
when you have on makeup when your skin is dirty and when your hands are dirty non-negotiables
390
because you go
391
and you pick the thing with dirty fingers sending dirt into
392
now an open wound on your face on dirty skin
393
which sends even more dirt inside of that open wound
394
and you wonder why you keep breaking out back to back to back
395
or the bump will never really go away it's
396
because you have to stop touching your face i'm
397
so hyper aware of the fact that my hands are dirty
398
and i don't want to disturb what i have going on on my face even
399
when i can feel a good old pimple forming
400
and we all all know that feeling i just let it
401
and i know that it can feel uncomfortable
402
because you feel like people are staring or whatever one no they're not and two
403
if they are what the freak are you gonna do about
404
it like to me like mentally think about like is it better for them to stare at a pimple
405
or is it better for them to stare at a wound i need my skin pickers to listen to me
406
and listen to me good i just want y'all to switch
407
y'all mind to more future orientedness i am okay with suffering
408
in the short term in order to benefit in the long term
409
and that's just like a model
410
that i have in my life you need to be thinking about like
411
if i pick this right now that makes me feel better right now
412
but now i'm causing a scar and damage
413
that i will have to work much harder to repair you
414
need to be thinking big bitch you don't need to be
415
thinking small okay that's what i'm asking y'all to do and
416
if you must must must must must pick your face especially
417
while you're out please at least do
418
so with clean hands bare minimum run a little little napkin
419
a little something with a little piece of water over where
420
you're about to pick something your face is dirty your hands is dirty you don't need to be picking
421
and then sending that dirt inside the face I've said it one million times no more please
422
and my last and final hygiene tip is about sleep hygiene
423
and that is something
424
that I am still working on as I record this video
425
it is an ungodly time just due to the circumstances of my day
426
but in general like sleep has always been a struggle for me
427
and it's been something that I've been actively like prioritizing and making sure to care a lot more about in recent years, specifically in recent months.
428
Because when I tell you every single professional that I meet with from my doctor,
429
health coach, nutritionist, therapist, like every single person is asking me how much sleep I'm getting.
430
And every single person is like, you're not getting enough of it.
431
Your sleep is quite literally tied to
432
so many different parts of your health like your mental health
433
your physical health your weight that's why the girls are obsessed with the sleep scores okay me included i noticed
434
that the higher my sleep score the better i do feel
435
even though it's like really dystopian to like you know talk about sleep scores
436
and be wearing like this tracker to bed every day it is really helpful to see a number
437
when i wake up in the morning because
438
that number will let me know how i'm gonna treat myself the next day
439
because i no longer act like i am like mrs indestructible
440
that's what me being a robot is like tonight i'm not going to get a lot of sleep
441
because my morning tomorrow has to start relatively early so
442
that means that one i'm going to work a nap into my day
443
and or two i'm going to be going to sleep early
444
that has become a non-negotiable for me also in order to
445
help to like reverse my night owlness i started taking a
446
low dose melatonin i think i've told you guys about this before not like melatonin gummies
447
that you would take like to get to sleep a low
448
dose melatonin is literally like 0.2 0.5 whereas like over-the-counter gummy is going to be like five milligrams
449
or even 10 milligrams sometimes
450
so this is like 0.2 to like half of one milligram you know what i mean
451
and i started doing so because taking it at
452
that low dose two hours before you want to start to
453
get sleepy helps to trigger the brain i don't know
454
if it's the amygdala maybe i don't know i could be making
455
that up but it triggers the production of melatonin naturally in your brain
456
that will help you get to sleep
457
so i don't want to take melatonin to put me to
458
sleep i want to take it to retrain my brain to start to get sleepy at an appropriate time
459
and i have been doing that for a while now
460
and that's really really helped me and then i make sure
461
that like my nighttime ritual encourages the best sleep possible
462
so like i shower before i get in the bed
463
because i feel my best being clean between my sheets it's crazy
464
that it's become such a part of my routine
465
that like brushing my teeth is like i cannot do it
466
if i don't do it i feel so i will get bad sleep
467
because i feel so uncomfortable having a dirty mouth going to sleep this mouth gonna be clean honey
468
that night guard is gonna go in i sleep with a
469
sleep mask i put my mouth tape on i slide my slither my lubed up body between those sheets
470
and i am out and i will be asleep all night long even with
471
that being said it is the rewiring of my brain
472
that i've been going through that rest is not earned rest is my god given right
473
and i don't have to like have a hard day
474
and do a bunch of things before i consider giving myself a nap
475
or before i consider like taking myself to bed rest is my right
476
and rest is your right it is not something
477
that you have to earn and it is integral integral to your health
478
and my health so we need to be taking it very very seriously
479
and that brings us to the end of today's video thank you guys
480
so so much for joining me i hope
481
that you found my tips useful my goal in this video is to break things down in a way
482
that feels sustainable to the everyday woman because i feel like the gap
483
that we hit online is like us as creators
484
and influencers have a lot more time on our hands to do more indulgent things than the everyday woman does
485
so how do we merge those two worlds how do we make sure
486
that not just women but people have like access to information
487
and routines and products that can be streamlined to cater to somebody
488
that does not have an hour to take an everything shower
489
every night even for my busiest the busiest the busiest of everyday girls i want to simplify things down
490
so that you can add things in sustainably
491
if you can just add in one more step one more thing
492
and integrate it into your routine it starts to become a habit
493
and you can build off of that to make things more flowery and cutesy and fun should you wish.
494
But I at least want my girls to get down the basics.
495
I want y'all to get to a point where it feels weird not to do the thing
496
because at the end of the day, good hygiene is not about being perfect.
497
It is about being consistent.
498
So I hope that this video was helpful with that.
499
I hope that I was able to free you from the bondage of certain stigmas and certain thought processes.
500
Pay attention to your body, pay attention to what touches your body, but overall pay attention to how you feel
501
because as i've been saying lately self-care and taking care of yourself putting in
502
that time and dedication is self-worth it is
503
that serious treating yourself well reminds your brain
504
that you love yourself well is too and i want
505
that for all my girls and with
506
that being said i'm gonna get the heck out of here i love you guys
507
so so much and if you have any other hygiene tips
508
that you feel like i missed any products
509
that are your faves make sure to leave them down below
510
and i will see you guys super duper soon in my next video bye guys

  • «I'm not saying that you're doing all of your hygiene wrong. I'm just saying that you should listen to me» — Здесь используется мягкий подход, чтобы не обвинять слушателей. Фраза «I'm not saying... I'm just saying» — обычная структура в разговорах, чтобы смягчить критику. Практикуйте её, чтобы выглядет не агрессивно в обсуждениях.
  • «how can we get things down to the nitty-gritty» — Идиоматическое выражение «get down to the nitty-gritty» означает «пойти к сути».

Simone.

Shadowing?
