ฝึกพูดภาษาอังกฤษด้วยเทคนิค Shadowing จากวิดีโอ: Adding an E-Stop to our Conveyor Build! #plc #automation #engineering #robotics #mechatronics

1
This one's for the safety lovers.
2
Today we're adding an emergency stop, aka e -stop, to our conveyor system.
3
Most industrial equipment with moving hazards require clear and easy access to e -stops.
4
Stuff gets jammed in moving parts.
5
People find ways to insert themselves into parts of the machine you never expected e -stops need to be readily available, often at multiple points in the machine.
6
There are many ways to incorporate e -stops, but the simplest is to use it to physically interrupt power to your motion component.
7
You don't want to kill power to an entire PLC, lose diagnostics, telemetry, and it could take a lot longer to recover from.
8
Instead, we take the loop that feeds the motor starter or drive and interrupt that with the e -stop.
9
Also a requirement that when an e -stop is pressed and then released, the machine does not unexpectedly resume motion,
10
so the PLC definitely needs to know that the e -stop was hit because a reset command has to be sent.
11
Fortunately, many e -stops have a normally open and normally closed circuit.
12
We can take the normally closed circuit for our motor connection.
13
When it gets hit, we can use the normally open circuit to tell the PLC that the e -stop's been pressed.
14
Now we can write PLC logic to require a reset, share a tag to our HMI to display to the operator that an e -stop's been pressed,
15
and even add it to a SQL database log to log when e -stops have been pressed.
16
Getting your e -stop placement and electrical design right is critically important for user safety on any machine.
17
Even though just our motor command is relatively low stakes for this build, Next, we'll be adding in a pick and place gantry to this cell
18
and having an e -stop to kill that motion is going to be essential.

How to practise with this video

  1. Listen to the whole video once without speaking and note the words you do not know.
  2. Start at 0.75× speed, shadow it sentence by sentence, then go back to normal speed once it feels easy.
  3. Record yourself and compare with the original, paying attention to words like circuit, reset, interrupt.
