Beyblade has had a pretty interesting history of launcher accessories like the Bey Pointer and the Bey Logger from Beyblade Burst.

And while they've all had some pretty interesting ideas,

for the most part, Takara Tomy just kind of forgot about them.

But now we're in 2023 with Beyblade X,

and we now have the Battle Pass.

The Battle Pass, Fortnite jokes aside,

is pretty similar to the Baylogger from Beyblade Burst,

although it's a lot more versatile,

a lot more high-tech, and it connects to a much better app.

I'll talk about the app a little bit later,

but for now, let's open this thing up.

If you couldn't tell, the Baylogger is sold as its own accessory,

not combined with a Beyblade like the Bey Pointer and the Beylogger were whenever they first released.

But because it doesn't come with anything,

it's pretty simple to talk about.

It has a little instruction manual and then the battle pass itself.

That's it.

The design is pretty sleek and it has a big button right on the front of it.

And also the little white and green piece of paper that says Beyblade on it,

that is removable.

So I'm sure people are going to make their own designs.

I know I will.

I quickly want to talk about the launcher grip for Beyblade X as well.

I mean, there's not really much to it.

It's a pretty boring accessory.

It's just a grip.

but do you guys remember the Beyblade burst grips how you had to like squeeze the launcher onto the grip

and taking it off was a nightmare well that's gone it

now has like this pulley like latch system it just makes

it way easier let's go back to the battle pass

and despite how cool it is

and how cool it makes your launcher look it's pretty much

a paperweight unless you have the new app the app was supposed to release July 15th

and it released a little early then it was delayed and then it came out just a few days ago.

It's also only available in Japan as of right now.

It'll be in other countries like Malaysia and Singapore later on,

but we do not know if it's going to release in the US yet.

But I have the app and I have around 14,000 points.

It acts as a bay locker where you can see your collection of Beyblade X-Bays with their nice 3D models.

You're able to do these AI kind of practice games,

but it's more of a game.

It's not really any strategy.

And every Beyblade X box,

whether it's the battle pass or the start dash set has a code on the inside

that you could scan to get points

and you're supposed to use those points to try

and get the rare get bay like Cobalt Drake but for right now that feature is not available.

I'm sure it'll be added pretty soon.

I bet they're just waiting for more people to have the base

but after you scan the code for the battle pass every code

that you scan afterwards you get like a bonus 100 points

and you're also able to connect the battle pass to the app

and connecting the battle pass to the app using bluetooth was

pretty easy i had to do some kind of google translate

work to see what it was telling me to do

but otherwise it connected pretty fast and once you have the battle pass connected that's

when you're able to do the ai battles as well as measure your launching power

so now let's do a demo to see how it works

and if it works it does work

and it's actually pretty cool okay here we have the battle

pass we have camera two showing off the app right here

we're gonna go into the training mode cool vx10 tells us

we have to sync the battle pass press this button hopefully

it connects in less than 45 seconds yeah there we go all right

and we're going up against night shield first cool all Alright.

And we're gonna go ahead,

press start, make sure you keep careful of the camera.

Alright, two, one, let it rip.

It's definitely better than the baylogger.

yes exactly that's the bay pointer but close enough that's

so cool though so through

that demo you can see how it's pretty similar to the hasbro beyblade burst app

but instead of launching with your fingers you actually have to use a real launcher

and i think that's just really cool and

while it's not in the app yet they are planning on adding online multiplayer which If I can battle somebody in Japan,

just in my room, that's awesome.

In summary, I think the Battle Pass is really cool.
