reflecting both sides' determination to bring ties into a new phase of deeper, more substantive and effective cooperation.

The Vietnamese top leader affirmed that Vietnam regards Russia as an important partner and a top foreign policy priority.

He said improving the effectiveness of bilateral cooperation is a major direction for Vietnam's new era of development.

The two sides agreed to raise bilateral trade to 15 billion U.S dollars, expand investment and business links and develop new supply chains.

Energy and oil and gas will remain key pillars, with cooperation extending to nuclear, wind and gas firepower.

They agreed to make science and technology, innovation and digital transformation new drivers of bilateral ties,

while highlighting the strategic importance of peaceful nuclear energy cooperation.

And the Vietnamese top leader invited Russian president to pay a state visit to Vietnam

and attend the APA Economic Leaders' Meeting in Phu Quoc in 2027.
