I can pretty much guarantee that by the end of this video you will be speaking in a natural British accent.
2
And it's actually really simple.
3
So there are just two main steps to mastering an accent.
4
Firstly, you need to be able to say the individual words correctly.
5
And secondly, you need to be able to link them all together in a way that sounds natural.
6
And in this video I'm going to be showing you how to do both of those things.
7
Hello everyone, my name is Dylan and welcome to a brand new video.
8
If you are new here, hi there, I post fun and relaxing English lessons every single Friday.
9
So today we are going to be using the shadowing technique to help you to quickly develop a natural modern RP British accent.
10
So how does it work?
11
Well, I'm going to start by reading out some simple everyday words and I just want you to repeat each one after me, trying to copy exactly how I say them.
12
I'm then going to be taking those words and putting them into sentences and we are going to repeat the exercise.
13
This will not only teach you how to say individual words in a British accent, but you will also get to practice the flow, intonation and linking of natural British sentences.
14
And this is really important.
15
So we have three different sections, easy, medium, and hard, and we are going to start with the easy one.
16
At the end of the video, there is also a crazy sentence that if you can shadow correctly, then, well, your parents are probably secretly British.
17
Enjoy.
18
Right, welcome to the first section.
19
I will start by reading 10 easy words, and I just want you to repeat each one after me, trying to copy exactly how I say them.
20
I will read each word three times and then after that we will move on to the sentences.
21
So good luck and repeat after me.
22

Về Bài Học Này

Bạn đang luyện tập phát âm tiếng Anh với video "If you can repeat after me, you will get a BRITISH Accent!
