What if you could simply tell an AI agent to create a WordPress post, update the content, or even publish it,

and have it actually make those changes on your website?

In this video, we're taking a look at Easy MCP AI, a free WordPress plugin that lets AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT read,

write, and publish on your site from a chat, with no service in the middle, from idea to published, without touching the admin panel.

First up, let's actually understand what

Easy MCP AI is all about.

Easy MCP AI connects your WordPress website with AI assistance through Model Context Protocol, or MCP in short.

It allows an AI assistant, like ChatGPT or Claude, to interact with your WordPress website.

Now, depending on the available capabilities, the AI can read, create, edit, and even publish content from your WordPress website.

So instead of manually navigating through the WordPress dashboard for every task, we can communicate with the site through natural language.

Now let's see this in action.

All right, we're here in our WordPress website.

The first thing that we need to do is install the plugin.

We can simply search for Easy MCP AI and then install the plugin from here.

Once the plugin is installed and activated, we have the option to connect an AI agent to our WordPress website.

So it will bring us to this dashboard and from here we can choose a client.

Let's say I want to choose ChatGPT,

so I can click on ChatGPT over here and copy this URL and then click on Visit Website button from here.

From here, we can create this new plugin.

Then we're going to add in the URL that we copied from our WordPress website.

Choose OAuth for authentication, click on this checkbox, and click on Create.

Next, it's going to ask us to sign in to our WordPress website.

We're going to click on it.

Then we can select what sort of access level we want.

We can give a full access, read -only, or custom.

I'm going to select the full access.

And then we are going to go to the information section, click on refresh, and it will tell us tools refreshed.

Once this is done, we are ready to add in our prompt.

We're going to close this up, and then we're going to click on try in chat, and now we are ready to add in our prompt.

All right, so let's add a prompt saying that show me the latest three posts on my WordPress website.

I'm going to add this prompt, and let's see what it gives us and here it's going to ask us for permission.

We're going to say allow once and here it got the first three posts on our website.

So these are the latest three posts.

If we go back to our site, click on the post section, we can see that these three are our posts.

So the MCPAI is working perfectly.

Now let's try another prompt.

Let's say I want the AI to create a post for me titled how to publish a post in WordPress.

We can also add in extra prompts such as write paragraphs, add a conclusion, generate an excerpt, suggest categories, tags, and improve the formatting.

Also, let's specify how much word we want.

All right, so now let's add the prompt.

As you can see, it says, I'll format it as a polished WordPress -ready article with clear headings, paragraphs, conclusions, excerpts, and SEO -friendly categories,

tags, then create it on your site as a draft.

And it's also going to ask for permission.

We're going to click on allow once.

And it already created it.

So it says, done.

I created the article on your WordPress website as a draft with all of these.

So the title is how to publish a post in WordPress.

The length is over 700 words, 10 structured sections with H2 headings, paragraph -based formatting, and it also did everything that we asked.

So let's go to a WordPress website and see if we can find this draft.

So here we are, and now let's refresh this post's page.

As you can see, the draft is already ready.

If we click on edit, we can see that the chat GPT really did everything that we asked.

It also added the excerpt.

So now we can publish it from here or we can ask ChatGPT to do it for us.

So let's go back to our site and let's go to ChatGPT.

Now let's publish this post through the ChatGPT prompt.

We're going to click on send prompt

and it's also going to ask us for permission

and we're going to click on allow once again and it says

that it published successfully and now let's click on view the published post to view the post and here it is.

So that is how you can create and publish posts using the Easy MCP AI plugin.

Now we can also edit existing posts as well.

Let's say this is the post that we want to edit.

So let's go back to our chat GPT

and from here we can see that this is a post

that we have and let's tell it to open this post up.

Let's say open 10 essential WordPress tips for beginners and make it more engaging.

Let's also view this post from here so we can see the changes.

Instead of telling it to make it more engaging, let's only make the intro more engaging.

And also add another prompt.

And let's also ask it to add a short FAQ section at the end.

Great, now let's add this prompt.

And again, it's going to ask for permission.

We're going to click on allow once.

All right, it added a more engaging and attention grabbing introduction, improved the flow into 10 tips,

and also added an FAQ section with three useful questions and answers.

So let's get back to our site and refresh this page.

Now before More refreshing, let's take a look at it.

and here it also added the faq section that we didn't have

so that is how you can use easy mcp ai to quickly edit your existing posts

and publish it you can also use easy mcp ai for

This is just for demo.

Let's go ahead and create a product.

So we're going to visit the dashboard first and let's go to the product section.
