أهلاً بكم مجدداً في بودكاست Tech Owl.
2
I am Tom, your friendly English host.
3
As always, I will speak slowly and clearly.
4
You do not need to understand every word.
5
Just relax, listen, and enjoy today's topic.
6
Today, we are talking about your future with English.
7
Maybe English is only a school subject for you now.
8
You study new words, you do grammar exercises, you prepare for tests.
9
But English can become something more practical.
10
It can help you travel, work, learn, and talk to people from different countries.
11
Let us begin with travel.
12
Maybe one day you want to visit another country.
13
At the airport, you may need to read a sign.
14
At a hotel, you may need to ask a question.
15
At a restaurant, you may want to understand the menu.
16
On the street, you may need to ask for directions.
17
You do not need perfect English in these moments.
18
A few clear sentences can help a lot.
19
You can say, where is the train station?
20
I have a reservation.
21
Can you help me, please?
22
When another person understands you, you may feel more relaxed.
23
You can make your own decisions.
24
You do not always need someone to translate for you.
25
English can also give you more choices at work.
26
Many companies work with people from other countries.
27
Some jobs ask workers to read emails, join online meetings, or talk to international customers.
28
Maybe you want to work for an international company.
29
Maybe you want to apply for a remote job.
30
Maybe you want to learn a new skill from a course in English.
31
English does not promise you a perfect job, but it can help you see more job information and apply for more opportunities.
32
Even basic English can be useful.
33
You may understand a short email.
34
You may introduce yourself in a meeting.
35
You may explain a simple idea to a customer or co-worker.
36
These small skills can become more important over time.
37
English also gives you access to more information.
38
Think about the internet.
39
Many websites, videos, podcasts, courses, and instructions are in English.
40
Maybe you want to learn photography.
41
Maybe you want to understand technology.
42
Maybe you want to cook a new dish or fix a problem on your computer.
43
When you understand English, you can learn from more people.
44
You can also enjoy entertainment in a different way.
45
You may understand part of a movie without reading every subtitle.
46
You may listen to a song and know what the singer is saying.
47
You may watch an interview with an actor, athlete or musician you like.
48
At first, you may understand only a few words.
49
That is normal.
50
Later, those few words become full sentences.
51
Then the sentences become a complete idea.
52
English can also help people understand you.
53
You can tell someone about your country.
54
You can talk about your family, your work, your food, or your hometown.
55
A person from another country may know very little about Vietnam.
56
With simple English, you can share something real with them.
57
You can say, I live in Vietnam.
58
My city is busy, but the food is wonderful.
59
My family celebrates this holiday together.
60
The conversation does not need to be deep or difficult.
61
Sometimes a short and friendly talk is enough.
62
Of course, speaking English can feel scary.
63
You may worry about mistakes.
64
You may speak slowly.
65
You may forget a word in the middle of a sentence.
66
That does not mean you should stop.
67
Most people do not expect perfect English.
68
They only need to understand your main idea.
69
You can use simple words.
70
You can repeat the sentence.
71
You can ask, can you say that again?
72
You are not failing.
73
You are communicating.
74
Your future with English does not begin on one special day.
75
It begins with small steps.
76
Listen to one short podcast.
77
Learn one useful sentence.
78
Speak for five minutes.
79
Write a simple message.
80
Watch a video and notice three new words.
81
One small step may not feel important, but many small steps can create a real change.
82
After some time, you may notice that you understand more.
83
You answer more quickly.
84
You feel less afraid.
85
You try things that once felt too difficult.
86
Maybe your future includes a new trip.
87
Maybe it includes a better job.
88
Maybe it includes a new friend from another country.
89
Or maybe English simply helps you understand more of the world around you.
90
You do not need to know your exact future today.
91
You only need to keep moving.
92
Now, think about one question.
93
What do you want to do with English?
94
You can answer, I want to travel.
95
I want to find a better job.
96
I want to understand movies.
97
Or, I want to talk to people from other countries.
98
Choose one answer and say it aloud.
99
That is your reason for learning.
100
Thank you for spending this time with the Tech Owl podcast.
101
I am Tom.
102
Keep taking small steps, and I will talk to you again soon.
103
Thank you.
