1
Good morning.
2
How can I help you?
3
Hello.
4
I'm interested in renting a house somewhere in the town.
5
Right.
6
Could I have your name, please?
7
Yes, it's Stephen Godfrey.
8
And tell me how many bedrooms you're looking for.
9
Well, we'd need four because I'm going to share the house with three friends.
10
OK.
11
There are several of that size on our books.
12
They mostly belong to families who are working abroad at the moment.
13
What about the location?
14
It'd be nice to be central.
15
That might be difficult, as most houses of that size are in the suburbs.
16
Still, there are a few.
17
What's your upper limit for the rent?
18
We'd like something around £500 a month, but we could go up to £600 if we have to, but we can't go beyond that.
19
Do you know how long you want to rent the house for?
20
The minimum let is six months, as you probably realise.
21
We're at college here for two years, and we don't want to have to move during that time if we can avoid it.

Por ejemplo, "I’m interested in" se pronuncia casi como "I’m intrestin" (con la "e" de "interested" reducida), y "we could up to 600" suena más como "we could up t’600" (con la "o" de "to" omitida).

En frases como "we'd need four because I’m going to share the house with three friends", el énfasis recae en "four", "share" y "three" para destacar la información clave.
