1
She needs no introduction.
2
It is Jennifer Aniston.
3
Okay.
4
I know that you're sitting right in front of me, but can I say hi to Douglas?
5
Yeah, obviously.
6
No, no. Hey, gorgeous, sweet angel.
7
Okay.
8
How is your doggy, by the way?
9
Doggies.
10
Yeah, doggies.
11
Chesterfield and Lord Chesterfield, And Clyde?
12
They're awesome.
13
You've always like been Mrs. Dog person, which made me feel good, 'cause I've always been Mrs. Dog person.
14
Yeah, so we're two Mrs. Dog people.
15
Mrs. Dog people, well actually, speaking of-- Your hair looks great.
16
Do you know, I did this for you today.
17
I'm like the queen of hair is coming here.
18
You never give yourself a beautiful straight blowout like this, and I love it.
19
You know what I do with my hair?
20
Well, I kinda.
21
I'm in shock, 'cause we all literally watch like the hair sways on you.
22
As the hair sways, that's like a great new soap opera title.
23
As the hair sways.
24
Yes.
25
Your hair could have its own soap opera.
26
I love not only LolaVie as a product,
27
you are, one of the best marketing and advertising agencies within one human being.
28
Whoa.
29
If you opened up an advertised agency, it would crush.
30
'Cause you're the best brander in the world.
31
Okay, well there you heard it here.
32
And I will gladly do that.
33
Oh, Colby.
34
Because it's fun.
35
We also have incredible people, the agencies that come and help us, you know, especially with like the P -Volve, P -Volve that we just did.
36
I love P -Volve.
37
Have you started doing P -Volve?
38
I'm trying.
39
I'm finally in my new workout era.
40
Okay.
41
I've said that I would be a worker outer my whole life.
42
And now I'm actually the key word was I wasn't consistent.
43
Okay.
44
And so then I would get injured and then I would be out.
45
Well, that's okay.
46
What is the key from the body?
47
Well, I started P -Volve because I had an injury.
48
And when I was shooting "Murder Mystery" with our beloved Adam Sandler.
49
"Murder Mystery" too.
50
I know, I love him.
51
And we were doing, I was doing harness work
52
hanging from the eiffel tower like you do um and
53
so anyway i had a back injury and i couldn't work out
54
and my friend said you should try p -volve
55
because it they'll it's it's functional exercise and so functional fitness
56
so you just sort of work around your injury just
57
because i would always you'd hate to have to sit on the bench
58
if you're injured
59
and be like i can't work out for how long well
60
i used it as a great excuse i was like oh i'm injured i can't work out boo
61
but now it's great i to be in the game because I turned 50.
62
I did a, like, A decade of work leading up to it.
63
Yeah, I know you have.
64
I know I'm in the 50 efforts.
65
Yeah.
66
It's the coolest club.
67
It's fun.
68
I feel different.
69
It feels different.
70
Were you hard on yourself?
71
Oh, I was so hard on myself.
72
I'm still hard on myself.
73
Aren't we-- you know, we're human.
74
But I was really hard on myself.
75
A big one that I had to conquer was time management.
76
Like, it made me so unhappy to mismanage time.
77
And then I, like, thought about my life growing up, how I was an actor and a producer.
78
Did you say were?
79
Yeah, I know.
80
I did.
81
That's ridiculous.
82
'Cause you are an actor.
83
You're right.
84
Right?
85
Okay.
86
Okay.
87
We're gonna get that.
88
Drag your butt out of this beautiful studio.
89
I love this because how much fun is it?
90
But you got to get onto this.
91
We're gonna do something.
92
You know, you, me and Adam, I'm looking for it still.
93
Yes.
94
And we have to do that.
95
Come on.
96
That's the center.
97
I would just say, I'm so sorry.
98
I have to go and I'll hopefully be back.
99
I mean, I would literally change my life to go do a movie with you and Adam.
100
That's how I feel because nothing would be a better time.
101
Yes, that's the other thing you realize.
102
You do realize that time, your time is precious, and how you spend it is everything.
103
So you don't want to go do a job where you're just.. you're working with a , or you're with people that are not kind-- We've all been there.
104
--or difficult, or whatever.
105
You want to spend time with people you love.
106
feeling creatively fulfilled, doing something that is just gonna entertain, you know, your audiences and bring joy to the world.
107
Something that you do is you take on lots of different tones.
108
Have you thought about doing Broadway Like,
109
'cause you do the best dramatic roles too. And... Is this something always...
110
It's the, you know, I, growing up in New York City.
111
Your dad had a restaurant right across the street.
112
Right across the street, I know.
113
My dad used to shoot, he, my dad shot in this building, "Search for Tomorrow," which was a soap opera,
114
which I don't even know how long ago it went off the air.
115
But he shot a soap opera, first it was "Love of Life," Christopher Reeves, I've never played his son.
116
Anyway, we-- You played his son?
117
Christopher Reeves played my father's son.
118
Oh, 'cause I played a boy once and I was so excited.
119
They cast me as a boy when I was three years old and I was like, I can do anything.
120
Go on.
121
You could, by the way, I'm wrong.
122
It's not search for tomorrow.
123
It was love of life.
124
But point being, he right across the street, Caddy Corner on the corner of 11th and 57th was his restaurant called The Fives, 555 West 57th Street.
125
It wasn't very-- That's literally the building across the street.
126
So my father's ghost is in this building.
127
What was his-- hello?
128
Hi, dad.
129
Are you here?
130
Bring out some candles and some of them.
131
I do believe he's here.
132
Yes, I know he is.
133
What were those days like going to your dad's restaurant?
134
Oh, it was very fancy.
135
Well, it was a cabaret.
136
So there was also-- that's very '80s, right?
137
It is that they would have people come on the weekends, and they would sing show tunes.
138
And then on Saturdays, Saturdays around 11 o 'clock in the morning, they had called the early show, and it was young kids.
139
singing and performing.
140
And I would go on Saturday morning with my dad and I would sit there just dreaming, wishing I could
141
sing or do something that would get me up onto that stage and be a part of the early show.
142
And I remember hearing these girls with vibratos.
143
I was like, how do they make their voices
144
do that because i would open my mouth
145
and just an awful sound would come out that's me too
146
and i feel like your dad's restaurant like running around the seed gets planted
147
and that's like when i saw annie for the first time also around the same and i thought, oh, God, what to be able to be on Broadway.
148
So back to the question.
149
Let's circle it back.
150
Do you think that that's something you would consider doing? Of course.
151
I would love to.
152
Listen, I know it's a very, you know, the theater community is sacred.
153
So I would be honored if I would be invited into it.
154
I think if you look up the definition of a hot ticket, it would be you on Broadway.
155
It would be super, it would be really fun.
156
We'd go in droves.
157
Okay.
158
Okay.
159
So an advertising agency.
160
That's right.
161
And Broadway shows.
162
What else am I doing?
163
I understand that you're making nine to five.
164
And I'm freaking out because I'm sure it's a ways off.
165
And if we don't want to discuss it, we don't have to.
166
But I just want you to know-- that I can't wait for that.
167
I cannot wait for you to be at the helm of that film.
168
It's your company doing it.
169
And we've-- And Dolly's a part of it.
170
Dolly.
171
Dolly's a part of it.
172
What's Dolly like?
173
She's...
174
Everything you would imagine and more.
175
She really is.
176
She's Talie Parton.
177
And there's nothing that's not, you know, What you see is what you get.
178
I feel like-- Full of sunshine.
179
I feel like that's why it works, is because 9 :00 to 5 :00 with Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Dolly Parton is the same thing that you're gonna bring to it,
180
which is these people we love and want to watch and then you see It's comedy, it's empowerment.
181
I mean, 9 to 5 is iconic.
182
And when I heard that you, it was in your hands, I thought, get me to the theater now.
183
Please, just, I'm so excited for this.
184
Well, you could go get in line now.
185
But we won't be there for a while.
186
It'll be a little bit.
187
Well, yes, 9 to 5.
188
It's gonna be so exciting.
189
Okay, so we're Los Angeles girls as well as New York girls.
190
I still have my Valley girl accent proudly.
191
I love it.
192
Oh my God.
193
Oh my God.
194
And in honor of Los Angeles, I thought that we could do a little trips for trips and play a game and maybe send someone to Los Angeles.
195
Oh my God.
196
Good.
197
Would that be okay?
198
Yes.
199
Let's toss to Ross because he's at the helm of this.
200
Toss to Ross.
201
Yeah, hi.
202
Oh my god, how fun!
203
I love when you're here.
204
Jennifer Aniston, I love you.
205
You know that.
206
Oh my god, Frost.
207
Okay, well I want you to say hi to someone.
208
This is Danielle.
209
Everyone say, hi Danielle, right here.
210
Hi Danielle.
211
Hi Danielle.
212
Hi everybody.
213
Jennifer Aniston, you do Barrymore.
214
They are?
215
Oh my god, hi.
216
Say hi.
217
Hi.
218
So tell us about yourself, where are you from?
219
I'm from Brielle, New Jersey, originally from the Bronx.
220
My mom here too.
221
Hi mom.
222
Hi.
223
And I'm I was a Marine Corps officer, and now I work for the Coast Guard out of Washington, D .C.
224
Oh, my gosh.
225
What?
226
I love that.
227
Wow.
228
And now have you ever...
229
That's our job.
230
We're talking about L .A.
231
We're now totally in love with you.
232
We're just feeling really bad about ourselves.
233
Yeah.
234
You've really...
235
We wowed...
236
We just wowed you people.
237
Feel very much that way to you.
238
You're officially badass.
239
How cool is that?
240
Thank you.
241
Now, have you been to L .A before?
242
So my brother works for Apple out of Los Angeles.
243
I've been dying to go see him.
244
- Maybe we can fix that.
245
- Yeah, you do.
246
- If you get this question right, we're gonna send you to Los Angeles, okay?
247
- Oh, please let her know.
248
- Okay, so here's your question.
249
Believe it or not, this year is the 20th anniversary of Jennifer's film, Rumor Has It.
250
Can you believe that?
251
20 years.
252
- Wow.
253
It goes like that.
254
- So here's a question, it's about that film.
255
Which Oscar -winning actress played the role the film, A, Jane Fonda, B, Shirley MacLaine, or C, Liza Minnelli?
256
This is for a trip to LA, Danielle.
257
What's your answer?
258
I'm going to go with B, Shirley MacLaine.
259
The answer is Shirley MacLaine!
260
Shirley!
261
And now we're going to Los Angeles!
262
You're gonna win a four night stay at the Downtown LA Proper Hotel!
263
You're going to LA!
264
Congratulations, Shirley MacLaine!
265
That's so wild!
266
What is Shirley MacLaine like?
267
- In which lifetime?
268
- Wonderful, exactly.
269
I was gonna say, which lifetime are we talking about?
270
She believes that we were a mother and daughter in a previous lifetime.
271
- Really?
272
- Yes.
273
- Well, that's-- - And I think it's why we have such, we had such an instant bond.
274
- The electric connection?
275
- We did.
276
We had a real, she's just fantastic.
277
- It's so funny 'cause she's with her daughter, actually right here.
278
Hi, Drew.
279
And hi, Jen.
280
It's so great to see you there.
281
Hi, Jennifer.
282
Sorry to interrupt, Mom.
283
It's so nice to meet you virtually.
284
I just wanted to tell you, Jen, I'll never forget how professional you were.
285
During the time we were making, rumor has it, You were really wonderful to work with.
286
I want to tell you congratulations from 20 years ago.
287
Thank you.
288
Oh my God, I'm so sorry.
289
I just love her a lot.
290
I was with her when my dog passed away.
291
Really?
292
Sorry.
293
I was at her ranch in New Mexico doing a past life regression retreat,
294
which sounds crazy when I say it like that.
295
Oh, are you worried about me because I'm crying?
296
And my dog-- I'm talking about Norman.
297
Oh my gosh.
298
It's true.
299
He knows.
300
You know, it's funny too, because I'm actually fostering a dog right now.
301
and I wanted to show him to you and see what you thought.
302
Oh, stop this.
303
Because you have, Clyde -o or-- - Oh my God, this is killing me.
304
What are you trying to do to me?
305
- Well, you're literally like my, you know, another person that I know feels about dogs.
306
The way that I do, like, it's true like, oh, Douglas, it's me, Douglas.
307
- Oh, don't do that.
308
I get it, Doug, I get it, I get it.
309
- Your house, your house.
310
- He's like, my house, new puppy, you've got so much energy.
311
- This is a foster dog that we're fostering.
312
The kids are like, please, he has to stay.
313
And I'm like, well, it really depends on Douglas.
314
And I think-- They are the boss. And he's very submissive.
315
Okay, so you're beta.
316
You just need to learn a little.
317
Well, he'll just put you in your place, and you'll figure it out.
318
And you have a cookbook.
319
Oh, yes, Clyde -io.
320
Which by the way, I've read the whole thing.
321
I love all the recipes in it.
322
This is such a thing.
323
They're simple recipes for you to, for kids and their parents to cook in the kitchen together.
324
And you grew up cooking with your grandma.
325
My grandmother, she would cook, well she would make spanakopita and baklava.
326
Those are the ones, the two things she made.
327
out of this world.
328
Like incredible.
329
So, and then I still have her recipes and I, I make them when I have nine hours free, 'cause that's how long they take to make from scratch.
330
Okay.
331
Yes.
332
Let's talk about the morning show.
333
I'm three episodes in.
334
Oh.
335
I did not wanna, I couldn't binge it.
336
I need to draw it out.
337
I've been waiting for this.
338
I've never missed an episode of "The Morning Show." You haven't.
339
Oh no. My favorite.
340
It's the most potent combination of watching people you wanna watch.
341
Yeah.
342
The cast is impeccable.
343
And Mr. Carbonell, I mean, we've got an incredible cast.
344
It really is like great chemistry, brilliant.
345
Actors but people you want to watch but then what I respect about it
346
so much is the subjects you tackle I was so thrilled that you took on the subjects of AI and and deepfakes.
347
Deepfakes?
348
Mm -hmm.
349
I don't like the deepfakes.
350
No. And I don't know why they're allowed to exist.
351
Well, you can't control it.
352
It's like a runaway train, you know?
353
How many times have you been sent something by a friend or by a family member saying, did you promote this?
354
Are you selling this product?
355
Do you support this treatment or whatever? And...
356
You have to say, that's not me.
357
That's not-- it looks-- and at first, you look at it, and you go, oh my god, what is this?
358
But then-- You have to look at it closely and you realize it's not your mouth actually speaking.
359
It's not really your voice, but somehow it's so scary, guys.
360
I don't know.
361
There's no real answer what we're going to do about it.
362
I'm glad that you're addressing it, though.
363
Yes.
364
Especially there's a moment where your character takes...
365
Oh, my.. takes a look online.
366
which I've done.
367
Don't.
368
I did it once.
369
Too late.
370
And I had the exact same reaction you do, which is, I know.
371
Like, I never want to be seen that way.
372
How could someone put me in this position and-- I'm in shock.
373
Mm -hmm.
374
And it was just like, thank you for addressing that, because this is happening to every person in the world.
375
It's not exclusive to us.
376
No, it's absolutely not.
377
And it's also scary because people, like, if you have people close enough to you, like I do, think that that's actually me or you or whoever,
378
that means people out there in the world are Thinking oh good gosh, so you can misinformation is spread.
379
I so recklessly, it's unbelievable.
380
- I don't know how you guys, sometimes I think you guys have a crystal ball.
381
- We do.
382
That's, we always say that.
383
- It's crazy.
384
Because a couple of season...
385
three, I think it was, when we read the first script and We said, OK, a billionaire and a rocket ship, and he takes one of our anchors up into space?
386
Guys, this is a little crazy.
387
I feel like your show helps me make sense of the world, and it's also delicious.
388
And we've got some good juicy, some good juicy romance in there.
389
Marion Cotillard.
390
So fantastic, magnificent.
391
She's so hot.
392
She's gorgeous and as beautiful-- I mean, she's obviously an exquisite actress, but Such a lovely person.
393
Well.
394
Sweetheart.
395
She makes me hot.
396
Jeremy Irons, who's this year, plays my father.
397
That's right.
398
When he turns around in the classroom, I was like, I love a Jeremy Irons.
399
I know.
400
What is on your neck?
401
Well, it's because just in case I ever have a hot flash around you again, that I have a lot of cooling prophylactic.
402
I have a little electric fan.
403
And I have a neck cooler.
404
And as we close this session out, I just want you to know that-- But this is like your Beyonce fan.
405
Let me hold it down here.
406
Here you go, girl.
407
If I ever am lucky enough to have another hot flash around you, that, and if it gets really bad,
408
Frank, you can take it away.
409
We've got that guy.
410
Yes!
411
Oh!
412
I love that.
413
That felt great.
414
By the way, that felt That felt so nice.
415
Thank you for that cooling moment.
416
You literally have a hundred different kind of cooling devices.
417
Well, because the last time you came here with Adam, I had my first hot flash.
418
I know.
419
I feel very honored I was here for your very first.
420
Thank you.
421
Now I know you've had many others since.
422
Now I'm like, oh, I'm having a hot flash.
423
How does this go?
424
But also, I'm excited because everyone in this audience is also going to have a memory.
425
Hot flashes.
426
Yeah, you're all going to get hot flashes.
427
Except for you guys.
428
Jennifer Aniston, everyone in our audience, is gonna go home with these incredible LolaVee products.
429
A new dry shampoo, which I am happy to report I did all over a girl's hair the other day.
430
It comes out in such a beautiful, fine poof.
431
I've never seen a component.
432
Which one, we wanted to stay away from the aerosol cans.
433
And then we have the detangler.
434
This is just magic.
435
the Glossing Detangler, which is their Hero 14 Awards later product that everybody's gonna go home with.
436
So thank you.
437
Yay!
438
Yay!
439
For that and the book, quickly, with Clyde -O.
440
And we have Douglas and-- Douglas.
441
And this-- And what is your name again?
442
We don't have a name for this baby.
443
We don't have a name yet.
444
Oh, look how sweet he is.
445
Right?
446
She or he?
