Katie Taylor's hometown of Bray is getting ready to cheer her

on as she fights for the last time in a sold out Crow Park in front of 82,000 fans.

The boxer has always spoken about her beloved hometown and you can tell by the signs, the flags and the bunting just how much she means to them too.

It has brought Bray together.

Katie has brought everybody, united everybody for once in the town.

We hope when Katie's finished her fight in Crowe Park

that she'll be out and come down to Paddy and Willie's ice cream for a 99 cone.

It'll be complimentary for you, Katie Taylor.

It's an absolute honour and a privilege that you can say you're from the same town as her.

Even without all the accolades that she's achieved inside the ring, outside the ring, as a human and as a person, she's unrivaled.

My nephews are all boxers because of her.

She's always very good for the community as well.

To me, she's like the definition of a human being, you know what I mean?

Like everything she does, everything she stands by and goes for, I just think she's an amazing role model.

We're very proud of her in the town.

We've followed her for years, all through her fights, and we're really proud of her.

And I'm so glad that the whole town is taking her on board and that she's got the biggest, best crowd for her last fight.

We had pretty much only lads training in the gym, and we've seen a massive influx of women in the last one.

We've seen so many women training in the gym now.

There seems to be a massive growth

and interest in boxing in Bray obviously Bray being the the

mecca of Irish boxing the home of Katie Taylor she started from humble beginnings

and she's one of the most famous athletes Ireland's ever had

so it should give really good inspiration to any young girl from Bray

that they can follow their dreams as well we actually are

lucky enough to have had Katie Taylor as an ambassador for Lakers

and not only that she has been in her own corridors surprising some of our members

and she also has been a great inspiration because not only

that I was only talking to one of the members last

night who told me she cannot wait for the fight on Saturday

and that she is Katie Taylor's biggest fan

if you could say one thing to Katie before the fight

what would you tell her ah to do it for Bray

and do it for Ireland yeah just be you Katie just go ahead and do what you always do, go and win.

Easy work, just do what you do, no problem, you get the job done.

Best of luck and knock them all out.

Do your best as you've always done and you'll get there.

You're an absolute treasure to all of us and you know what, you deserve a win.

You really do and I wish you all the best in the future.
