1
I'm really worried.
2
You only have five years left to get rich.
3
You see, the gap between the rich and the poor is growing and every year you wait, it gets harder and harder to close.
4
Over the next five years, the people that have money and assets will continue to get richer.
5
But those that haven't accumulated any could find themselves stuck in the same economic position forever, effectively frozen in time.
6
That's exactly why I had to make this video.
7
You'll notice there's no polish editing or fancy props today,
8
that's because this subject is an emergency warning and I need to get this video out fast.
9
Look, I'm an old man.
10
I've seen many transformational shifts throughout my lifetime that have completely changed the way money gets made.
11
Every time there was a shift, people had to adapt and those who didn't got left behind.
12
But here's the thing, none of those shifts ended up replacing humans themselves.
13
However, now, for the first time in my lifetime,
14
I've started to question whether that will still be true because we're seeing the biggest technological shift I've ever witnessed, which is of course AI.
15
So that brings me back to why do you only have five years left to get rich?
16
Every job and business exists because there's a problem that needs solving.
17
Think about it, a company needs somebody to answer its phone, so it hires a receptionist.
18
It needs somebody to sell its product
19
so it hires a salesperson it needs somebody to manage the finances edit promotional videos
20
or design packaging there's a problem that needs solving
21
and a human gets paid to solve
22
it now for most normal people the problem they've traditionally solved has been through their job
23
you might not own property or a company
24
or have stocks a million sitting in the bank
25
but you could always sell your time knowledge and skills and
26
that was a way of moving up the ranks and getting rich
27
but it wasn't always like that for most of human history
28
if you were born into a wealthy family that owned land
29
and assets you'd almost certainly remain wealthy and
30
if you were born poor there was a good chance you'd stay poor that's
31
because the people at the top owned the assets
32
and the people at the bottom worked for them the only way to cross the divide was to marry up
33
and even then they'd look down on you for it then businesses
34
and the free market knocked a hole in that wall
35
and every shift i talked about earlier knocked
36
it down a bit further until social media finally smashed it into smithereens
37
but the more i think about it the more
38
i feel like ai could start pushing us in the opposite direction you see
39
if people get paid to solve problems what happens
40
when ai starts solving those problems instead what happens
41
when a company no longer needs five people to do a job
42
because an ai agent can do all the work itself those problems don't disappear
43
but far fewer humans get paid to solve them and
44
if the main thing you own is your ability to sell your time
45
but the value of
46
that time starts falling building wealth becomes a lot harder meanwhile
47
the person who already owns the company gets the opposite their costs drop their output goes up
48
and they keep the difference and that's the part that worries me
49
because those walls that block any movement from poor to rich could slowly start being rebuilt and when
50
that happens you end up stuck on whichever side of the wall you happen to be on at that time look
51
i started this youtube channel to help people build wealth from scratch just like i did as i believe
52
that anyone who learns the skills of a millionaire can become a millionaire that's why i'm
53
so worried because ai is attacking my whole reason for making videos in the first place
54
and this isn't just theory anymore we're already starting to see the warning signs
55
nobody wants to hear this but the entry -level jobs
56
that used to be the first step on the ladder are the first ones disappearing
57
and I'm not talking about some far -off prediction here
58
Anthropic one of the big AI companies looked at how Claude was actually being used out in the real world
59
they found
60
that Claude is now being used for at least a quarter
61
of all tasks in roughly half of all jobs just a year earlier
62
it was only around a third of jobs
63
and remember that's just clawed it doesn't even include chat gpt
64
or any other ai tools people are using
65
and this is where it gets uncomfortable stanford have been looking at actual payroll records covering millions of workers
66
and they found
67
that employment among 22 to 25 year olds in the jobs
68
most exposed to ai is now about 19 below where it would have been
69
if they kept pace with young workers in less exposed jobs
70
in addition to this older more experienced workers in those highly exposed jobs don't show the same gap
71
so think about what that actually means the people already inside
72
and making loads of money are largely holding on to their jobs well at least for now
73
but fewer new places are opening up underneath them and if you just looked at the overall job market
74
you might miss it because
75
that same stanford study found no evidence of widespread job displacement across the economy
76
which is exactly why hardly anybody is doing anything about it and
77
while all of that's going on something else has been happening
78
in the background in america the share of business profits
79
that actually goes back to the workers in a pay slip has fallen to 52 .8
80
the lowest level since records began in 1947.
81
now that decline started long before ai came along so
82
So I'm not pretending AI caused it.
83
But if businesses can produce more with fewer people, you can see why this matters.
84
More output, fewer people needed to produce it.
85
Who do you think gets the difference?
86
The people who already own the businesses and wealth.
87
Now, with this five -year theory, and remember, it is just a theory.
88
Nobody actually knows how long it's gonna be.
89
I mean, I'm not some kind of time traveler, but what I do know is that right now,
90
most people seem to be doing one of two things they're either assuming they're going to be absolutely fine
91
or they're panicking and running around like a headless chicken neither is particularly useful but
92
if you play the next few months right
93
you can put yourself in a very good position to be one of the winners
94
whenever there's a massive shift like this fortunes get made as i've said i've seen it happen over
95
and over again with computers the internet
96
and social media there are always people who ignored what was happening people who were scared of it
97
and people who realized quite quickly that things had changed those are always the people
98
that do well i remember
99
when the internet started becoming popular
100
i set up an online store for one of my businesses selling remote control models
101
while most people in my industry were still focused on opening
102
more physical shops a lot of people laughed at it they thought online shopping was a fad
103
and that nobody would ever trust biting things over the internet, but I didn't sit there arguing about it.
104
I just changed the way I was doing business.
105
And because I moved early, it gave me an edge while everyone else was still doing things the old way.
106
It was the same story when I started sharing advice on social media.
107
All my friends down the golf club just didn't understand.
108
They thought TikTok was just a dancing app, but I saw the opportunity.
109
And just a few years later, I became the most followed personal finance creator in the world.
110
And I think AI will be the same.
111
Over the last few months, I've been trying out lots of AI side hustles and I've actually been shocked at what it can do.
112
The opportunities to make real income are there to be taken.
113
Meanwhile, a lot of people are gonna spend the next few years arguing about whether it's overhyped,
114
whether it's dangerous, or whether it's gonna take their job.
115
The smart people, however, will just face the facts
116
and work out how to use it to their advantage while AI still needs human input.
117
And that brings me on to it.
118
This morning, a conversation with a young man made me realize I can't stay quiet about this any longer.
119
He's an investor and advisor to a multi -billion dollar AI company.
120
So he has a rare and unique insight into where the industry is heading over the next few months.
121
And the things he shared with me have been truly eye -opening.
122
Do you know what, Kai, is he still here?
123
I was actually saying
124
you've been behind the scenes of some of these AI companies who are actually shaping the future of the industry.
125
I've actually been at our offices and seen stuff that I know the public won't see until 2027.
126
And it's exciting, scary at times.
127
What are you actually seeing people do?
128
Look, there's big businesses using AI.
129
But for me, what gets me more excited is seeing the solopreneur, the person who's trying to start a one -person business or a side hustle.
130
And what it's allowed them to do is just level the playing field.
131
When you have the right specialized AI tools, you basically have all these employees in your pocket.
132
And look, I don't need to tell you this.
133
You started in business 40 years ago.
134
You have four times experience than I do.
135
And when you started in business, it was substantially harder than when I started in business.
136
And what's so exciting is now I'm seeing people start with their businesses
137
and have competitive advantages that I didn't have 10 years ago when I started.
138
So I think every year as these tools get stronger and stronger,
139
as long as you're not late to the curve and as long as you come into it with an open mind,
140
truly, I think there's just no excuses left for anyone i mean like just the amount of people
141
that have come to the event and especially the ones
142
that applied what we taught and how much they've actually generated
143
and tracked earnings has just been mind -blowing to me what sort of results are you seeing
144
so the first time i ran an event the people who attended
145
and applied what i taught generated 8 .9 million dollars in tracked earnings in a 90 -day time frame
146
and then we went back to our drawing board changed some things second time
147
it was 15 million dollars third time it was 31 .7 million dollars
148
and then in aggregate those individuals have done over 100 million tracked since then to me
149
it sounds a bit unrealistic well i'm co -owner of wap
150
and a lot of these businesses actually run their entire infrastructure on wap
151
so i can see all the sales data
152
and we can track this stuff now i want to be up front of course
153
that doesn't mean that every single person made money who attended the event
154
but in aggregate that's the data
155
that we have i've actually just started sort of preparing my notes and presentations for the next one.
156
coming up in November
157
but I have taken as much as I've seen with my own two eyes
158
and I've put it into our next event
159
and actually I was talking about it with the team
160
and considering your knowledge on the matter
161
and your audience you know I know you're a busy man
162
but I'd love to have you I mean
163
you have four times the business experience than I do you know
164
I've been in business for 10 years you've been in business for 40 years you've been in business in
165
so many different sectors I find myself pulling out my phone
166
and taking notes every time we talk because there's so much
167
that I learned from you and take from you
168
so I just think
169
if we were to come together it'd be such a cool union
170
you know i mean obviously it's got to be free
171
it's for free don't worry
172
i love to maybe even off camera show you a little bit more of our case studies and results and
173
you know if that's something you feel comfortable with then i know the audience would really love
174
that i will give it some thought um
175
if you can send me the link
176
if i decide to do it i'll stick the link in the description that's all i can ask for mark
