1
Thank you.
2
all right thanks now let's move on to the topic card
3
I would like you to describe one of the shopping centers you often go to
4
so you have to talk about a topic for about two minutes
5
and you have one minute to think about a topic here is a paper
6
and a pencil to write down whatever you wish and then you may start thank you Well,
7
the shopping center I normally go to is a very large one.
8
It was built I think about five or six years ago.
9
The reason I go there is because there's such a wide variety to choose from.
10
It has four or five different stories and numerous, numerous different shops.
11
Basically, you can find whatever you're looking for, whether it's a pair of flip fobs or a formal evening dress.
12
I would probably say I go there at least once a month or maybe twice.
13
I might not even buy anything, but there's also cafes and restaurants to sit and have a bite to eat in.
14
So I might end up just going there with a friend
15
or a few friends just for a coffee and maybe do some window shopping.
16
I go to this particular one because as I mentioned before you can find whatever it is you're looking for.
17
sportswear, formal wear, shoes, bags,
18
accessories, and even I think recently household equipment.
19
Alright, Sogol, now I would like to ask you a few more detailed questions related to the same topic.
20
Will smaller shops survive in the current business system?
21
I've actually never thought about this before, but I would assume that they would,
22
especially in rural areas, where the demand for a big shopping centre is probably zero.
23
However, the population is growing and there are...
24
new products every day.
25
So I think they'll diminish in numbers in more urban areas.
26
But however, not completely disappear from the face of the earth.
27
A lot of people still prefer to go to their local shop to buy what they're looking for
28
and support these family businesses.
29
What are the differences of modern shopping malls and smaller shops?
30
Well, again, I haven't given this much thought before,
31
but I suppose a modern shopping mall is quite inviting with its huge structure and its modern architecture.
32
And there's so much to choose from as opposed to a smaller local shops.
33
I think this abundance of choice might be a bit confusing at times.
34
Smaller shops tend to store less items.
35
When you go in you don't have that huge variety to confuse you and of course the the appearance is more traditional.
36
Okay, thanks.
37
And the last question: What is the trend of future shopping centers?
38
Well, in my opinion, I think the future of shopping centres will be that they will be fewer in numbers,
39
but probably a lot bigger.
40
I think this will be because people will want to go to one place and buy whatever that they need.
41
There's also this growing trend of internet shopping.
42
But I don't think internet shopping will take over completely because I think people generally prefer,
43
a lot of people prefer to see and feel what they're about to purchase before making the decision.
44
Thank you very much Zogul.
45
This is the end of your interview.
46
Have a nice day.
47
Thank you very much.
