3
Simultaneously interpreted version of Open Debate Vietnam was surprisingly quiet in the morning Most of the shops won't open until after lunchtime
4
Okay, there it is.
5
This time my local friend booked me in for a little treatment.
6
Because she wanted me to experience a bit of K-beauty.
7
The staff were incredibly gentle and professional.
8
And before I knew it, the whole thing was over.
9
This is for the mask?
10
Okay, 10 minutes.
11
Mm-hmm.
12
10 minutes.
13
I also added a bit of laser hair removal while I was there.
14
You know, summer and all that.
15
As have a few moles removed.
16
I feel like my skin has brightened up.
17
I'm now right next to Gyeongbokho because I'm meeting up with a friend.
18
I hadn't seen her in years, so we ended up chatting for absolutely forever.
19
The sweet potatoes are very expensive.
20
Very expensive.
21
It's not the same as China's Chinese.
22
Her Chinese is genuinely impressive, and she's actually thinking about starting her own social media account.
23
Honestly, I think she'd do really well.
24
What's this?
25
Saatun.
26
The art area.
27
The artsy area.
28
Because she wants to vlog her life as a single Korean lady in her 30s.
29
I reckon plenty of people would find that interesting.
30
How cute!
31
Where are we going now?
32
We're going to find a coffee tea.
33
Then came coffee number two.
34
We also did a bit of Gen Z style zoomed out photography which was good fun.
35
It was absolutely baking that day but I had such a good time.
36
While we were walking around we came across a reading in solitude event.
37
There were Korean books, Mandarin books, and books in traditional Chinese.
38
At one point, we all just relaxed for a bit.
39
After that, she took us to Olive Young, where I did a bit of shopping.
40
I particularly liked this heart-shaped product that one of my subscribers recommended.
41
If you're watching this, yes, I bought it.
42
I'm so blessed today because the weather is just perfect for a little bit of outdoor walking and just the best day.
43
By the evening, Gangnam had completely come back to life.
44
I ended up getting one of those Korean corn dogs.
45
I know, I know, they are a bit of an old trend now
46
and not exactly the healthy meal I had in mind, but I was on a weekend trip, so fair enough.
47
My trip to Korea was regretfully short
48
but it was lovely to step away from my usual routine for a couple of days.
49
All in all, I can't complain.
50
Thanks for watching and I will see you in the next video.
51
Bye!

  • "I feel like my skin has brightened up."
  • "I hadn't seen her in years."
  • "There were Korean books, Mandarin books, and..." – L'uso di "there were" è fondamentale per descrivere ciò che esisteva in un dato momento, una struttura fondamentale nella narrazione.
  • "I'm meeting up with a friend."
