1
do you guys know that feeling when you get home
2
and you're like it's an everything shower day you know
3
that type of shower where it feels like it's literally taking
4
off 10 years of your life well that's what we're going
5
to be doing today we're going to go over all things skincare body care hair care
6
and shaving now let's put our phones on do not disturb
7
because we're locking in on this everything shower and let's get started
8
because we have a long night of self-care ahead of us
9
Welcome to my bathroom and we're going to start off by taking off my makeup.
10
This is arguably my favorite part of my entire routine.
11
I like clipping my hair back first because I have sensory issues
12
and I do not like hair on my face when I'm doing my double cleanse.
13
Cleaning my skin well is so important because after having makeup on the whole day, my pores are clogged, okay?
14
And we want to unclog them.
15
Now, you might be wondering why we want to double cleanse instead of just using a simple cleanser.
16
It's because it provides a more thorough and deeper clean.
17
By the way, if you don't own one of these wrist washbands, you're seriously missing out because there's actually nothing worse than washing your face
18
and having the water drip down from your arms onto the floor.
19
And let's not even get started if we're wearing a long sleeve top.
20
So I'm going to start off by using a cleansing balm.
21
This one is from Versed and it has eucalyptus oil and also vitamin E in it.
22
Makeup is honestly so much harder to remove than you think and just using a simple cleanser usually won't cut it.
23
But that's why we use cleansing balms.
24
They're made out of oil and can really help get in and remove all of that heavy makeup.
25
Since they're oil-based, they're also really moisturizing and can help protect your skin barrier.
26
I don't know about you guys, but I used to be such a big makeup wipe user.
27
I know it's so bad for you, but I stopped using makeup wipes because I realized how dry it would make my skin, and I just love how the cleansing balm does not do that.
28
Oh my gosh, you guys.
29
Honestly, this is really satisfying looking at all of the makeup that melted off my face.
30
So I actually have lash clusters, which means when I wash my face, I can't wash directly on my lashes.
31
I have to wash around the eye area, which means I have to remove the makeup separately around my eyes.
32
I just like to use this Lashify Lashes and Makeup Remover.
33
I just put it on a little cotton pad
34
and then I rub it gently on my eyelids and then also on the bottoms of my lashes.
35
And guys, make sure you're doing this gently and not tugging really hard because the eye area is so delicate.
36
Now we're jumping into the cleansing oil.
37
This is the Anua Heartleaf Pore Control Cleansing Oil.
38
I love Anua products so much.
39
Like, oh my god, Korean skincare products eat down.
40
And yes, you can technically just use this to remove your makeup as the first step, but I like using a cleansing balm first.
41
I usually do two pumps and I kind of just work it on my skin in a circular motion.
42
The longer that you do this for, you're going to literally see balls of dirt and crime come out of your face.
43
It's honestly pretty crazy.
44
And then I like to emulsify the product, which means just adding a little bit of water, which by the way, this is new information to me,
45
but apparently you want to emulsify a cleansing oil because it lets the oil kind of rinse off easier with water, which means also less residue.
46
Okay, now my skin feels squeaky clean, but we're gonna go in with a foaming cleanser.
47
This one is from La Roche-Posay and I've been using it for a while and I've been really liking it.
48
This is gonna help remove and clean off the residue from the oil cleanser.
49
I swear all my life your skin should now feel like a baby's butt after doing all these steps.
50
I used to literally have the craziest, driest skin and I swear double cleansing is a game changer.
51
Since we're doing an everything shower routine, I decided to also incorporate a little clay mask.
52
I've never tried this one before, but this is a Spring Green Tea Tree Pore Clay Mask.
53
This is a Korean brand, and I've used a ton of their products before, and I love them.
54
Honestly, as I'm applying this, it's really bringing me back to the high school days where everyone was using those Aztec Indian Healing Clay Masks, which now that I'm talking about it, I feel like I want to try it again,
55
but I stopped using it originally because it made my skin so dry.
56
But I'm gonna leave this on for 10 minutes.
57
A hair mask is a non-negotiable for me when I'm doing my everything shower routine.
58
The one I'm using today is the Comeback Kid from Fenty Hair.
59
So you wanna focus a hair mask on the bottom half of your hair.
60
Sometimes when you get it higher up into the scalp, it can kind of make your scalp greasy.
61
Some other hair masks that I love are Away, Amika, and also Fino, which Fino is a Japanese brand, but I swear you guys,
62
that stuff is so good.
63
I'm just not using it today because I ran out.
64
I need to get a restock.
65
And while I let the hair mask marinate, I'm going to go in with a pre-wash.
66
Now you want to apply this stuff on dry hair, so on your dry scalp.
67
This will kind of help protect your scalp for any damage that might happen when you shampoo your hair.
68
And I've also noticed significant hair growth after using this and also thickness.
69
I will say this pre-wash does kind of smell like herbs.
70
It's very natural.
71
So if you're like a vanilla girl or a very sweet scent girl, this one might not be for you.
72
I still would encourage people to try this pre-wash though
73
because it has transformed my hair plus it's asian women owned
74
so we gotta support it girls okay
75
and i kind of like to have everything marinate in my hair for around 20 minutes before i go
76
and wash it off now it's time to hop in the shower
77
and wash off this clay and hair mask also taking all of my jewelry off
78
because we don't want it to tarnish i can already just
79
feel the life coming back into my hair i also prefer to have the water on warm to hot.
80
This is because I usually wear my hair in a slick bag and it's usually so tight.
81
It's honestly really bad.
82
Don't worry guys, I'm working on it.
83
I'm trying to wear my hair down more, but because it's so tight, it creates so much tension in my scalp, which is why the warm water helps.
84
For shampoo, I'm using the way detox shampoo and high key my life has changed.
85
Like this shampoo completely changed my hair game and I don't know what I was doing before I had the shampoo.
86
This is a clarifying shampoo which basically just kind of washes away all the dirt, grime, oil, and product buildup.
87
And you guys see that lather?
88
I love a shampoo that lathers good.
89
And this shampoo is perfect for a everything shower because you don't want to use it more than once a week.
90
Since it is a deep cleanser, if you use it every day, it's probably going to leave your hair feeling really dry.
91
And I will say that I do not wash my hair every day.
92
I try to wash my hair once every three days i think is a sweet spot for me
93
but girl my scalp is clean squeaky clean after using the shampoo
94
and that's saying a lot because i use
95
so much products on my hair so much hair gel
96
so much taffy genuinely obsessed look at my hair guys now
97
going in with conditioner in 2024 i discovered this redken acidic bonding collection
98
and i was obsessed and honestly i should have known
99
because sabrina carpenter was the face of this collection and if you know you know her hair is beautiful.
100
Once again, we're applying the conditioner only on the bottom half of our hair because we don't want a greasy scalp.
101
And I'll leave it in my hair sitting for maybe a couple of minutes before I wash it out, just because we already put in the leave-in conditioner before.
102
Rinsing it off.
103
And honestly, not gonna lie, this video was a little hard to film, especially the shower scenes.
104
But we got it done.
105
Now we're gonna wrap up our hair and move into body.
106
Jumping into shaving i'm so excited to share with you guys my shave routine
107
because I always get compliments on how soft my skin is
108
I'm going in first with the bush balm ingrown hair exfoliating scrub You can get this stuff at ulta, but it's
109
so important to go in with the scrub first This is really going to help prevent strawberry legs
110
Which is when your hair follicles or your pores get clogged up with dirt
111
or bacteria The scrub and also just showering in warm water will help loosen up
112
and soften your hair And I just kind of work this hair anywhere
113
that I would shave my legs my armpits
114
and I also do shave my arms Now you never just want to go in
115
and shave with just water I actually like using a bar soap, but you can also definitely use a shaving cream I love all of the eos shaving creams,
116
but I also do really like the tree hut shaving oils Using a shaving oil
117
or honestly a bar soap is really nice because you can get a closer shave I just use the gillette razors.
118
These come in a giant pack at costco, which I love now if you can see, I am shaving upwards, which means I'm shaving against the grain.
119
If you have sensitive skin, I actually wouldn't recommend this because this is how you can get irritation and razor bumps.
120
Thankfully, my skin isn't too sensitive when it comes to shaving, but if you do have sensitive skin, I would shave it downwards, so in the same direction that your hair grows.
121
Now, I like to go in with a body wash, and I like to use a big loofah.
122
Loofahs are really nice because it really saves you product.
123
You can lather this stuff up a lot.
124
Now, I'm going to go in with a La Roche-Posay foaming cleanser
125
that I use on my face because you can also use this on your body.
126
This cleanser is really hydrating and usually people use a body wash before they shave
127
but since we use an exfoliator i really like to use a body wash after just
128
so i can rinse off all of
129
that residue i do a couple of pumps
130
and then i just start scrubbing it into my skin
131
if you do use loofah something you want to make sure
132
that you do is replace them pretty consistently i feel like they do collect bacteria pretty easily
133
and especially because we're letting them sit in a moist environment
134
which is the bathroom but girl i love my loofah it helps with circulation and also skin texture
135
Hopping out of the shower and drying off.
136
Look at my scalp
137
and my hair you guys I swear there's no better feeling than a really clean scalp Especially
138
if you were on day three hair, which was my case getting into my robe And then I go in and brush my hair with a wide tooth comb, which I forgot to fill
139
But we don't want to use a regular brush you guys
140
that's going to rip your hair out Always use a wide
141
tooth comb now brushing my teeth I don't know why
142
but I can't use any other toothpaste except for this colgate one Now
143
that it's been pretty much an hour of being in our bathroom we can finally leave and get on to moisturizing.
144
I live in Los Angeles and it's still a little bit cold and dry, so we gotta moisturize.
145
I'm going in with the Natrium body serum
146
and you don't wanna use too much of this cause it can get a little bit sticky, but I really do love this stuff.
147
It helps to protect your skin barrier.
148
Please let me know if anyone else feels the same way, but I swear there's no better feeling than freshly shaven legs that's moisturized
149
and then slipping under the sheets
150
but i'm just really working this in on places where i feel like are extra dry like my elbows
151
and my kneecaps by the way this is also fragrance free which is
152
so important going in with another fragrance free item this is
153
la roche posay moisturizing cream this has shea butter in it
154
which means it's extra thick which i love and this also dries down really quickly which I appreciate.
155
I try to keep my skincare pretty simple just because I do have kind of sensitive skin.
156
I suffered from eczema a lot and I have flare-ups here
157
and there but I haven't experienced any flare-ups using these two products.
158
Now we can finally jump into our pajamas.
159
By the way, a silk pajama is game-changing.
160
It's time to do our skincare.
161
Now you're gonna notice that most of my skincare are Korean skincare because I love them.
162
We're starting off with a MetaQt pink peptide toner.
163
I'm basically almost done with my bottle, but this brand has blown up recently.
164
This really helps to soothe your skin.
165
Another toner that I love is the Tear Tear Milk Skin Toner.
166
This toner is super hydrating and also very gentle.
167
You can always take it on a cotton pad, but I like to just apply it with my hands and tap it into my skin.
168
Some benefits of using a toner is that it helps to hydrate and balance your pH.
169
Now I'm going in with the Anua Peach 70 Nyssen Serum.
170
Y'all, like, I love Anua.
171
Their products are so good.
172
This is really going to give you that glass skin look that everyone loves.
173
A little bit of this stuff goes a long way, but I swear it makes my skin look so radiant and bright.
174
It has hyaluronic acid, so I like using it in the morning and night.
175
Now I'm going in with this collagen cream moisturizer from Deer Cloud.
176
Oh my god, if there's one thing that you have to get from this skincare routine, it's this product.
177
My skin feels so soft after using this, and then I like to lock everything in with the Anua lotion.
178
By the way, this packaging is life-changing.
179
I think all face moisturizers should be put in a pump bottle now.
180
It just makes things so much easier.
181
And okay, now lips.
182
I'm going in with a Hello Sunday lip balm.
183
One thing about me is I cannot go to sleep with crusty dry lips.
184
That will drive me crazy.
185
It's finally bedtime.
186
The everything shower routine is not for the week.
187
But if you sticked around, I love you guys so much.
188
After those two hours of self-care, now it's really time to sit back and relax.
189
I love watching the show on Netflix, which if you guys have good recommendations, please let me know because your girl is always looking for new things.
190
And I just love to chill in bed, watch my little show or movies, and this is genuinely the happiest time of my day.
191
Nothing beats the feeling of being so squeaky clean and just in bed.
192
When it's actually time to go to bed, I love to put on some sort of ASMR rainforest sound.
193
And I'm a psychopath and I set my alarms.
194
Look how much alarms I have.
195
It's crazy, I know.
196
I'm just such a deep sleeper and have such a hard time waking up
197
if it's only to one alarm But that's my entire everything shower routine.
198
