1
My name is Marta, I'm from Poland and I'm 28 years old.
2
I graduated from law school and I want to become a cabin crew member because it's my childhood dream.
3
No guys, this is not a Disneyland.
4
Hello everyone, I hope you're doing well.
5
My name is Marta and I'm a former Etihad Airways cabin crew member.
6
For over a year now, I've been helping aspiring cabin crew members land their dream jobs with the world's top airlines.
7
and in today's video i want to tell you how to introduce yourself in a way
8
that makes a strong first impression
9
and presents you the perfect candidate for the coming role
10
so you can get the job and
11
if you're attending an in -person event with a middle eastern airline doing a virtual assessment
12
or recording a video introduction the very first question you will likely be asked is please introduce yourself.
13
And believe me or not, during my coaching sessions when I prepare future cabin crew members for their interviews and I ask this question,
14
I often hear something like, my name is Marta, I'm from Poland and I'm 28 years old.
15
I graduated from law school and I want to become a cabin crew member because it's my childhood dream.
16
And while that's very honest, it's just not good enough if you truly want to send out.
17
To give a powerful answer, you first need to know what kind of candidate the airline is looking for.
18
So first, you should definitely read the job description, check the requirements and look for the skills and qualities they highlight.
19
You will usually see on their websites that they value candidates who have customer service experience,
20
are team players, have excellent communication skills, speak fluent English.
21
And these are the things you should definitely highlight because they are exactly what airlines are actually looking for.
22
So while introducing yourself, share your customer facing experience.
23
Mention the skills they're looking for.
24
Show how you can contribute to airline success and deliver it all with a positive attitude with a smile.
25
Once you understand the profile they want, start crafting your answer.
26
And here's my simple structure I recommend you to use.
27
So first, greet the recruiter and other candidates warmly.
28
Show appreciation for being there don't jump straight into your name just set the tone with a positive
29
and a welcoming energy good morning it's a pleasure to be here today
30
then state your full name not just your name full name keep it professional
31
because this is your moment to be remembered and after
32
that make a strong statement like I break extensive experience in customer facing roles
33
then back it up with your current position and any relevant previous job titles.
34
Then highlight the skills you've developed throughout your career
35
and conclude by saying that you would be honored to contribute to LA success and say thank you.
36
And I will give you the example because I believe it's always easier to understand.
37
This is the example of introduction.
38
Good morning and thank you for having me here today.
39
My name is Marta Sarkowska and I bring extensive experience in customer service and the aviation industry.
40
Currently I work as a cabin crew member with a lot of Polish Airlines
41
where I ensure passengers comfort and safety while proudly representing the company's values.
42

43
teamwork, adaptability and cultural awareness.
44
Additionally, I'm fluent in English and Polish, which allows me to connect with passengers from around the world and make them feel valued and welcomed.
45
I'm confident that with my experience and passion for excellent service,
46
I can contribute to airline's continued growth and proudly represent its values of safety, passion and empathy.
47
Thank you.
48
My name is Marta, I'm from Poland and I'm 28 years old.
49
I graduated from law school and I want to become a cabin crew member because it's my childhood dream.
50
Do you now see the difference?
51
It's clear, it's concise and it highlights exactly what the recruiter wants to hear.
52
It's professional because when they ask you to introduce yourself this isn't the time to talk about your childhood dreams.
53
You're applying to one of the best airlines in the world.
54
and they want people who are ready to grow with the brand who can help the airline generate revenue
55
and maintain its world -class reputation and also i want you to know
56
that your introduction goes hand in hand with your grooming your posture
57
and your energy so together they create a strong impression
