I'm Scott Reeder.

We are at the NAMM show in the Warwick booth.

It's crazy loud in here, but we'll get through this.

It's hard for me to shout for a bass because I play left -handed and I have it strung upside down.

It's strung right -handed.

So I can't just walk into a guitar store and pick up anything really.

I pick up a left -handed guitar and it's not right for me.

So actually I was looking through the catalog and I put it in the mirror

so I could see what the body shape would be like and I'd try to imagine how it would feel.

And I was just drawn to that body shape for some reason.

The little nook in the body was so comfortable.

I used to hit the edge of my bass so hard

and I'd have bruises on my wrist and it's just really comfortable in the warm tone.

It's been a dream bass for me.

I mean, it's a custom bass, but the nuts backwards and the saddles are backwards.

Other than that, I figure Warwick has been doing the right thing for 30 years

and I didn't want to mess with it too much.

I've been producing a lot.

I have a home studio in Banning, and I produce a lot of underground heavy rock bands.

And then I got a phone call out of the blue from Dave Grohl,

and I play bass on one of the songs for the Sound Sync Project coming up.

And it hits radio this coming week, so I'm pretty excited.

It's going to be crazy.

It's with Dave Grohl playing drums, me playing bass, Roy Taylor from Slipknot singing, and Rick Nielsen, one of my all -time idols on guitar.

It still doesn't seem real.

It's amazing.

It's gonna be impossible.
